About: I’ve always had a special connection with pets. I believe in giving my pets the best life I can give. I love to train animals with positive reinforcement, love, and plenty of patience. My dog and I spend a lot of time together, and she gets love from the whole family. She is my world and my best friend. I also have some small critters that all get along with her. I also have four rescue cats! They’re all loved and cuddled often. Many people call my place “the zoo” because I have such an affinity for animals. All my animals are socialized so that they feel comfortable with people and other animals. At the moment, I am between employment, so I am taking the time to spend with my animals at home! About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean up after them, and make sure they get the playtime, walks, or quiet companionship they need. I believe pets feel most secure in their own home because it’s their safe space, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. Being able to care for them in that environment helps build trust and creates a stronger, more positive relationship, making the experience less stressful for both the pet and the owner.
