About: I have babysat for 5 years and on the side I would always pet sit, also with all of the families I have watched I would also be taking care of their pets! I have also volunteered at plenty of shelters!! About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.

“Leandra and Mark were amazing! We left our behaviorly challenged yorkie with them for a week and they handled him like professionals! We we got back it was like he was on vacation not us! He clearly loved them and di so well! We hope to use them for future vacation needs. We could not have asked for a better place for our fur baby to stay while we were gone. ❤️🫶🥰”

They went above and beyond by sending plenty of pictures, which really showed how comfortable and happy Point was during his stay, it meant so much to see him having such a great time. It’s clear they truly care about the dogs they watch and treat them like their own. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I will most definitely be having them watch Point again. About: I worked as a pet-sitter in the Goshen area during college. I have experience with older dogs and multi-pet households. I’m happy to keep as close to your regular schedule as possible. I’ve just graduated from UND with my MFA and I am looking for a little extra income as I adjust to life post graduate school. My days are totally flexible and I am happy to work around your preferred schedule. I’ve accommodated picky eaters and older pets dealing with incontinence.
