About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

In the past when we have hired sitters through Rover we were sent pictures of her hiding under the bed and that made us feel uneasy while away from her, but Casey sent pictures of her out and about and even eating! My yard is not fenced so I walk your pets on a leash & there are trails in the woods where they love to walk too. I also have a tie out if they dont do well on a leash & some are fine to free roam but they are never left unattended. I can take 2 small to medium dogs or 2 large or 1 giant dog. I will also transport your pet(s) to & from your home if needed. This will be an additional fee. I have been professionally petsitting for the past 17 years. References are supplied upon request. “Andrew was GREAT! His whole house, from the inside out was extremely dog friendly. LiLi was a little apprehensive at first. He let me stay while he introduced all the dogs he was watching, one at a time, to LiLi. He made the transition easier for her by giving her (and all the other dogs) treats. Even though LiLi was nervous when I left, Andrew sent me a video of her happily playing with his dog, James, less than 5 minutes after I left. He took great pictures and videos too!! Definitely will use him again…tomorrow. 😊”

About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 I still foster and mark my calendar as unavailable when I have foster babies. You can always ask if there is room for one more. 😉 New home with half acre fenced yard. Have a very active border collie who wants a playmate. About: I’ve owned large dogs consistently for the last 20 years. I’m ready to give snuggles to dogs of all sizes, though! Kids are back in school so I have lots of time on my hands. I’m ready to spread the love! I’m currently looking for some supplemental income doing something fun and rewarding while maintaining the flexibility I need for my kids and their schedule. I love the idea of borrowing someone else’s pup for a little bit so they don’t have to be lonely all day. I have been home since my youngest was born 9 years ago, so I have plenty of time on my hands during the days. We have a big fenced yard, and live on a quiet street with little traffic for walks. I don’t really have a lot of other things going on during the day, so frequent potty breaks are no issue.

About: I’m an attorney and moved to Granger recently. I have been on Rover for a few years (previously in Chicago and Colorado). I’ve had a cat since I was 7 years old, have worked with horses (not that I’m expecting to actually pet-sit any horses), and just adore animals. I have a 7 year old cat and a 1 1/2 year old dog. About: I grew up with animals- my dad raised and bred dogs professionally, and my brother and I helped by taking care of puppies. We also had our house dog and I had cats. Since then, I have raised many dogs, cats, and bunnies. Currently my husband and I live by ourselves and travel a lot so we do not have our own pets, but I miss having animals around and would enjoy helping take care of others’ pets. We have a calm, clean, and happy home. We love animals so much, we are both vegan as well. Your pet will be in the best care! About: I’ve owned dogs & cats all my life. I absolutely adore fur babies and can’t get enough of them. I have 2 cats of my own as well! I currently am working full time . With Wednesday and Saturdays off. I am available to stay at pet owners home if dog sitting . I am also able to check in on cats everyday as well. If pet owner lives close (within 5-10min) to my work I am able to let dogs out during my work lunch hour. I am also willing to be flexible as well if I have time in advance to try and work something out with my schedule at work! When I pet sit, I make sure dogs/cats have enough food water and toys. Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

Jill I have a great flexible day schedule , I’m available almost any days , I also will do last minute drop ins on a short notice! I will greet your furry babies like they are my own! And I love to give treats when I come in if that’s OK! Then we will go outside for a potty break, have playtime and a walk if requested ! Make sure freshwater is in the water bowls! I can also put your pets in a crate if you need me to before I leave!

About: Your pet is welcome in my home! They will get lots of TLC, play time, feeding, walking & love. My house is small but live on 2 acres in the country. My yard is not fenced so I walk your pets on a leash & there are trails in the woods where they love to walk too. I also have a tie out if they dont do well on a leash & some are fine to free roam but they are never left unattended. I can take 2 small to medium dogs or 2 large or 1 giant dog. I will also transport your pet(s) to & from your home if needed. This will be an additional fee. I have been professionally petsitting for the past 17 years. References are supplied upon request. About: Hello, my name’s Anna. I have been taking care of dogs since I was 16. My family got a golden doodle several years ago and he has definitely been a joy and a task. Having a dog such as mine has made me more comfortable in my dog caring skills and fairly knowledgeable about what needs dogs have. I’m also very well equipped to handle puppies as I recently got a cocker spaniel several months ago. But given that, my passion for dogs continues to grow. I now as an independent adult have 2 dogs who I’ve had the pleasure of raising as puppies to where they are at now. I work full time but like to stay active and adding furry friends to the mix on my days off is no big task. I would love to see more dog friends and help them socialize and make someone’s life easier. I don’t have a fenced in back yard, but I am capable of taking dogs on as many walks as needed. I am also capable of putting dogs in a crate and preparing them for crating as long as needed.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.
