I have a 14 month old yellow lab/golden retriever mix, she is so funny, so sweet and has such a great personality!! I do have basic training skills! On treat motivated pets lol! I love animals , I’m very flexible! Your pet will get lots of love and attention from me! I’m very reliable! I’m able to come at last minute most of the time! I will also give your pet meds if needed! I’m also able to give injections if needed! I hope you will consider me to take care of your sweet babies , for a drop in visit for a little playtime , potty break or a nice walk, or just to give them company !! About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 I still foster and mark my calendar as unavailable when I have foster babies. You can always ask if there is room for one more. 😉 New home with half acre fenced yard. Have a very active border collie who wants a playmate. My animals have always had the run of the house but I can provide a crate if need be. If you need an extended period of time, let me know. My last foster was 6 months old, from a local shelter and was here for over 2 months.
About: I’ve always had a special connection with pets. I believe in giving my pets the best life I can give. I love to train animals with positive reinforcement, love, and plenty of patience. My dog and I spend a lot of time together, and she gets love from the whole family. She is my world and my best friend. I also have some small critters that all get along with her. I also have four rescue cats! They’re all loved and cuddled often. Many people call my place “the zoo” because I have such an affinity for animals. All my animals are socialized so that they feel comfortable with people and other animals. At the moment, I am between employment, so I am taking the time to spend with my animals at home! About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.

With Wednesday and Saturdays off. I am available to stay at pet owners home if dog sitting . I am also able to check in on cats everyday as well. If pet owner lives close (within 5-10min) to my work I am able to let dogs out during my work lunch hour. Having a dog such as mine has made me more comfortable in my dog caring skills and fairly knowledgeable about what needs dogs have. I’m also very well equipped to handle puppies as I recently got a cocker spaniel several months ago. But given that, my passion for dogs continues to grow. I now as an independent adult have 2 dogs who I’ve had the pleasure of raising as puppies to where they are at now. My yard is not fenced so I walk your pets on a leash & there are trails in the woods where they love to walk too. Animals are misunderstood and some haven’t experienced real love from a human. I’ve worked with puppies to older dogs, big and small. About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve worked with playful puppies, independent cats, and senior pets who need extra patience and attention. I love getting to know each pet’s personality—whether that means long walks, playtime, or quiet cuddles—and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel like they’re with a friend, not just a sitter. Pet care is already part of my daily routine because I care for my own cat every day, from feeding and cleaning the litter box to playtime and making sure she feels loved and comfortable. Having my own pet has made me attentive to routines, behavior changes, and the small details that help animals feel safe and cared for. I also love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or giving them the attention and exercise they need. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and make time for every day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean up after them, and make sure they get the playtime, walks, or quiet companionship they need. I believe pets feel most secure in their own home because it’s their safe space, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. Being able to care for them in that environment helps build trust and creates a stronger, more positive relationship, making the experience less stressful for both the pet and the owner.
About: I have a Belgian Malanois who’s name is Beau. He is an Extremely passionate and caring dog with a high drive to learn. I have put In the time and effort to train and build our relationship as a family. I also have a Golden retriever and she couldn’t care less about anything other than love haha. I have a full time job, which ends at 2:00pm. From 2:00pm until bed I spend with my dog whether it be training, or walking. I spend a minimum of 2 hours a day training with Beau. I believe that your dog can fit right in and be in a comfortable, safe, home away from home. I do not have a fenced in yard yet but I’m outside every time my pups go out. If need be, I have leashes I can use to let your pup outside as well.
About: I worked as a pet-sitter in the Goshen area during college. I have experience with older dogs and multi-pet households. I’m happy to keep as close to your regular schedule as possible. I’ve just graduated from UND with my MFA and I am looking for a little extra income as I adjust to life post graduate school. My days are totally flexible and I am happy to work around your preferred schedule. I’ve accommodated picky eaters and older pets dealing with incontinence. No matter what the situation is, I’m ready to dive right in and make your pet feel as comfortable as possible.
