About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.

As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

About: Hi, I've had pets of my own. I currently own a cat, we did have snake. I would love a large sibirien husky. But can't do that right now. I want to enjoy other peoples fur babies for now. I'm in great shape so it's a definite that your fur babies will get a good walk or run. I do take trips out to Warren dunes at least twice a week. Pet care is already part of my daily routine because I care for my own cat every day, from feeding and cleaning the litter box to playtime and making sure she feels loved and comfortable. Having my own pet has made me attentive to routines, behavior changes, and the small details that help animals feel safe and cared for. I also love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or giving them the attention and exercise they need. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and make time for every day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean up after them, and make sure they get the playtime, walks, or quiet companionship they need. I believe pets feel most secure in their own home because it’s their safe space, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. Being able to care for them in that environment helps build trust and creates a stronger, more positive relationship, making the experience less stressful for both the pet and the owner.

About: I worked as a pet-sitter in the Goshen area during college. I have experience with older dogs and multi-pet households. I’m happy to keep as close to your regular schedule as possible. I’ve just graduated from UND with my MFA and I am looking for a little extra income as I adjust to life post graduate school. My days are totally flexible and I am happy to work around your preferred schedule. I’ve accommodated picky eaters and older pets dealing with incontinence.
