Also, if I am in your home I will be respectful as if it is my own.

I did two years of a dog training club in 4-H and used the information with my dog. I currently have a full time job. I would be able to care for your pets in the evenings after 6:00 pm, as well as overnight if needed. I am available most weekends. I will treat your home with respect and integrity. Please leave a note with all expectations and I will follow them to the best of my ability.

“Absolutely wonderful! My husband and I felt very comfortable with Rachel and the dogs liked her from the start! Rachel kept us updated the entire time we were gone and even went the extra mile to water my plants since I was gone for so long! She even sent photos to us as she spent time with the dogs. Again, absolutely wonderful. I would recommend her to anyone with a dog, and who is picky about who they have watch their dog, as I was. Rachel was great. I will be using her again, definitely!”

Having my own pet has made me attentive to routines, behavior changes, and the small details that help animals feel safe and cared for. I also love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or giving them the attention and exercise they need. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and make time for every day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean up after them, and make sure they get the playtime, walks, or quiet companionship they need. I believe pets feel most secure in their own home because it’s their safe space, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. Being able to care for them in that environment helps build trust and creates a stronger, more positive relationship, making the experience less stressful for both the pet and the owner.

About: I have many years of experience with household animals, family/friends pets, and various types! I am fluid with service animals as well as with animals requiring special care needs! I am currently open to job opportunities and have a pretty flexible schedule for the foreseeable future. I currently have a 14 year old maltese boy Unless specified otherwise, feedings are routine and scheduled based. Any medicines that need to be administered are taken care of. I have a big backyard, unfenced but have space to let pets out and roam on a long leash.
