Sit. Stay. I've got this! ♥️

*Rover sitter since 2015* Thank you for considering us as your pet sitter and taking the time to read this! I look forward to hopefully meeting you and your pups soon!! :) Hi there! I’m a newly single mom of two amazingly awesome kids, and we’ve been living in Indiana for the past 8 years after moving from Texas. I’ve always had a deep love for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages—from playful puppies to sweet seniors. I offer in-home pet sitting only, and while I do work part-time, I’m still available for overnight stays when needed. Since I’m parenting solo now, my kids usually come along with me. They’ve been part of my pet-sitting routine since they were born and fully understand how to respect other people’s homes and pets. I completely understand if this arrangement doesn’t work for your needs, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to read my profile. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members!

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in your home, I treat them like part of the family—ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. I do my best to stick to their usual routine as closely as possible, whether that’s feeding times, walks, playtime, or quiet cuddles. Since I only offer in-home sitting, I focus on keeping your pet relaxed in the space they know best, minimizing stress or disruption while you’re away.

Rachel was very patient and kind with caring for our cat and senior dog. She even carried him in his harness 4 times per day for his walks in the snowy cold weather! She also gave great updates throughout the day.

Rachel was fantastic! Our boy is super shy with people and he warmed up to her faster than he has with anyone else! We can’t wait for her to stay with him again!

Rachel was very communicative and punctual. Our 2 dogs and cat were well taken care of and we got plenty of pictures, which was reassuring.

-For new Rover customers ask me about my discount code to receive $20 off your first stay; whether it's with me or someone else if i'm unavailable! :) I welcome all dog breeds, I just ask that they aren't likely to damage anything in my home and as well as they are friendly towards my kids. (We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old) Safety is be best key, I want to protect my babies just as much as yours! My kids are wonderful around animals, as we use to have 2 dogs, as well as other family members that also have different kinds of animals and both kids are use to them and are very friendly towards all animals. When I meet a new client and their dog/cat/small animal, there are some questions I like to ask before the stay. I believe that having a thorough conversation about your pet's history, behavior, temperament, level of socialization, and individual quirks, will ensure that I am a great match for you and your dog. All of the questions I ask at a meet-and-greet are aimed at giving me the best, overall picture of your pet's personality, and will provide me with the information I need to provide top quality care and a worry-free visit. Again, all breeds are welcomed. Whether you have a teacup Yorkie, or an over-sized Great Dane that thinks they are a lap dog, all doggy visitors will feel at home!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
