I’ve worked with playful puppies, independent cats, and senior pets who need extra patience and attention. I love getting to know each pet’s personality—whether that means long walks, playtime, or quiet cuddles—and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel like they’re with a friend, not just a sitter. Pet care is already part of my daily routine because I care for my own cat every day, from feeding and cleaning the litter box to playtime and making sure she feels loved and comfortable. Having my own pet has made me attentive to routines, behavior changes, and the small details that help animals feel safe and cared for. I also love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or giving them the attention and exercise they need. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and make time for every day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean up after them, and make sure they get the playtime, walks, or quiet companionship they need. I believe pets feel most secure in their own home because it’s their safe space, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. Being able to care for them in that environment helps build trust and creates a stronger, more positive relationship, making the experience less stressful for both the pet and the owner.

About: I have many years of experience with household animals, family/friends pets, and various types! I am fluid with service animals as well as with animals requiring special care needs! I am currently open to job opportunities and have a pretty flexible schedule for the foreseeable future. I currently have a 14 year old maltese boy Unless specified otherwise, feedings are routine and scheduled based. Any medicines that need to be administered are taken care of. I have a big backyard, unfenced but have space to let pets out and roam on a long leash.

I did two years of a dog training club in 4-H and used the information with my dog. I currently have a full time job. “Jamie was wonderful. I would say the communication on my part was lacking, I’m a first time Rover user and wasn’t sure how it all worked. Jamie made me feel very comfortable with it all from the moment I met her. My elderly beagle is on meds for an ear infection. He is pretty good at spitting out pills and Jamie handled it with ease. She was professional, timely, and sent me picture updates while we were gone. The cherry on top was when she asked for me to let her know we made it home safely so that our dogs wouldn’t be left Alone if something happened on the way home. Extremely thoughtful and shows that she cares about the animals she is around. I will absolutely be using Jamie to watch our pets in the future!”
