As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. About: Ive always had pets growing up my whole life, I started watching other people’s pets my last year of high school. I love all animals and I care for them like they are my own. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet behind when going on vacation, work calls, etc. which is why I keep all owners updated and informed on how their fur babies are doing. I currently work a 9-5, M-F. However my boyfriend gets off work at 3. Which is why I have my availability set to the weekends. I am not opposed to weekdays I just want to be up front about my schedule. I live on a half acre but we are out in the country surrounded by open fields. Therefore we have plenty of room to run, walk, and play, I also have two dogs myself to keep yours company and play! I do crate my own dogs when I leave the house because we have an open pantry and we’ve had trips to the vet because of things being eaten that should not have been… Therefore I prefer to crate dogs when I leave the house.

I understand the importance pets have in the structure of any family, and it’s my pleasure to offer peace knowing your pet is being taken care of and loved while you’re away. I like meeting pets where they’re at, wether it’s running around a park with energetic Border Collies or lounging around with a chill cat. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.

“I would highly recommend Christina! She took such good care of my puppy who is about 60 pounds. He was able to run around in their yard and it looked like he had a lot of fun. I also had to travel during the stay and she was very flexible with drop off and pick up times.”
“This was Lucy’s first extended stay with Andrew and Jane and they definitely treated her like one of their own. She got lots of love, snuggs, and playtime with her friends. Andrew and Jane sent loads of photos and video updates and were extremely accommodating when our travel was delayed and we needed a later pickup time. We will be using them for all of Lucy’s boarding and daycare needs.”

About: I worked as a pet-sitter in the Goshen area during college. I have experience with older dogs and multi-pet households. I’m happy to keep as close to your regular schedule as possible. I’ve just graduated from UND with my MFA and I am looking for a little extra income as I adjust to life post graduate school. My days are totally flexible and I am happy to work around your preferred schedule. I’ve accommodated picky eaters and older pets dealing with incontinence. No matter what the situation is, I’m ready to dive right in and make your pet feel as comfortable as possible.
About: I’ve cared for a wide range of pets as well as having my own! My neighborhood and backyard are perfect for walks and playing. I am currently working as a medical assistant full time from 9-5 with close access to home if needed. I enjoy long walks at night and I have open weekends. I have a fenced yard and a great neighborhood to keep your pet active and their needs cared for! I am comfortable with dogs either crated at night or snuggling in bed with me.

She is an Akita and she is a rescue so that can be a lot to handle but not for him: he even got her to socialize with his dog. So much so, that when I went to pick her up, they were still busy chasing each other around. Anyone who has dealt with a difficult breed or a rescue knows how much time is needed and I’m grateful!!Thanks again for helping out!”
