“Molly was incredibly proactive, warm, and communicative in taking care of our Hecate and Loki, being willing to meet them first because Hecate's a scaredy cat and so we wanted her to be comfortable with them, giving thorough and consistent updates, and made them feel relaxed while we were away! So lucky to have met Molly and Hecate and Loki look forward to future visits!”

“Emily took excellent care of Pico while we were traveling. She is very caring towards animals and kept Pico well-accompanied. We also received adorable pictures of Pico. We would definitely book with Emily again.”

“Christina was great with our cat! She was communicative and punctual, and she did a great job keeping him happy and active while we were away.”

“Svenja was wonderful. Cannot recommend highly enough. Here we were, in Manhattan with our little Josie (miniature dachshund) for her first trip to the big city! She was absolutely freaked out by everything. So we needed to find someone quickly who could deal with our distraught pup while we attended a dinner. Svenja responded quickly, was flexible, immediately helpful, a calming force. Josie completely relaxed around her. Svenja sent us updates through the dinner. I probably needed more calming than Josie! We will continue to use Svenja to watch Josie when we’re in the city. She was great. Highly recommend.”

“Wenlu was a great pet sitter for our two cats! My family took an extended vacation, and Wenlu came to our home twice a day for about a week. She kept our cats company, fed and cleaned their litter, and fed them treats to develop a bond with cats. On top of that, Wenlu was communicative and responsive, and sent photos and videos for each of her visits. I highly recommend Wenlu, and I hope the cats can meet her again! 😀”

“Samantha is someone you can trust to come to your home and take excellent care of your pet. She went out of her way to meet our cat before booking to ensure they were a good fit for each other. In each update picture we received, our cat was comfortable and enjoying Samantha’s presence. Book Samantha for your next Rover experience!”

About: I had two beautiful dogs of my own but we had to say goodbye to one of our girls. Recently relocated for my wife’s career and will have a little extra time as we get settled so figured I’d try to help NYers be at ease with their busy schedules. My schedule is flexible and would love to help you out with your fur child / children. We never like to leave our little ones for too long but sometimes get caught in a pickle! Happy to help put your mind at ease knowing your dog is taken care of when you have those busy / long days or just have some social plans! Look forward to making more furry friends in the area. I am very active and already walk my dogs around Central Park and Riverside park daily. Our 6 year old fur child would love to have a friend to go to the park with! We have a dog friendly building and are a short walk to both Riverside and Central Park. Both my dogs are extremely friendly with dogs and children. Love to make sure pups are getting the love and exercise the need.

“Rebecca did a great job and really went above and beyond! She always sent pictures of the cats and updates, completed everything I asked of her, and even helped with things I didn't anticipate needing, like having to refill the litter in the litter box. She also was always very quick to respond!”

“Leta was comfortable with us and our Dodger from our first meeting! She was a great communicator and took good care of our doggie! We would definitely like to have her watch Dodger again.”

I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I’m happy to follow any routine, special diet, or medication needs. I offer reliable, loving care with regular updates so you can feel at ease while you're away. If you're looking for a responsible, compassionate sitter or walker, I’d love to meet you and your furry friend! I'm currently in between jobs, which gives me a very flexible schedule to care for pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays I will continue any training you have given your pup in your home, and even pick up a little if you need!I live in a pet-friendly apartment near Central Park, perfect for long walks and outdoor playtime.

About: Long time UWS devoted dog dad of 14 years - from eldest corgs to the youngest terriers! Currently fully remote working/studying to become a Board Certified Behavior Therapist from my UWS (steps from Central Park!) apartment that I share with my GF and our 3 year old pup Nellie. 🥯🚕🐶 I’ve been a dog dad for 14 years - the corgi in the pictures is Jake. He passed away last month to cancer and I have loved and cared for him every step of the way. Because Jake had developing elder issues, I am experienced with older dog problems with ataxia, hip problems, and just needing to be carried after a while. We have a big soft spot for elder dogs and know the special love and care they deserve. During the pandemic, my gf and I rescued our 2nd dog Nellie! She’s really energetic and loves playing with other dogs, especially bigger ones. Nellie has dietary and separation anxiety issues, so we know what it’s like to follow specific strict rules with your dog. We love and have experience with young pups in training and would love to have them over. Personally I work in the behavioral therapy field and am close to being board certified so I am no stranger to using data and interventions to shape behavior with your pup. From experience, behavior change and training must be consistent so if that’s an option you would like to explore we can discuss that as well! Currently fully remote working/studying to become a Board Certified Behavior Therapist from my UWS (steps from Central Park!) apartment that I share with my gf! As long time Rover customers, we will look after your pup exactly how we want our Nellie to be cared for on her Rover stays. You can expect: ✅ Full time human supervision (we see you separation anxiety pups! 🥰) ✅ Frequent check-ins and updates for pet parents with TONS of pictures 📸 ✅ Strict following of dietary, behavioral, and medical needs 💗 ✅ As many scenic Central Park strolls as your pup desires 🍃 ✅ The world’s comfiest couch™️ for superior naps and cuddles 😴 We (especially Nellie) look forward to meeting your pup! Contact to set up a vibe check in the future!

About: I currently have a cockapoo, his name is Louis. He loves other small to medium sized dogs. He is very social, playful, and loves a good snuggle partner. I love taking long and short walks with him and other dogs. I have dog sat and dog walked for friends and family for many years. I live right in between central park and riverside park. There are a few great dog parks in my neighborhood too. I will take photos and keep you updated on how your dog is doing. Let health problems or medications they might need. I am home a lot during the day, so you dog will have plenty of human interaction too. Let me know if you have any other questions... - Gladys

“Aurora was the best cat sitter I've ever had on Rover. I have a very shy cat, but she was able to make a connection after just a handful of visits. Aurora is super quick to respond for any needs your pet has while you're away. Would 10000% recommend her to not only my friends, but anyone that is looking for cat care while they're out of town.”

About: I’ve always enjoyed the idea of walking with a dog/puppy but I never got the chance to do it until 2 years ago when I got my first puppy.. Luna. She has brought joy to my family and I have learned a lot with her. I know I would be able to take care of peoples fur babies just like I would take care of mine. <3 I’m currently at school however, contacting me a day earlier would be helpful to figure what day/time works best for both of us and I’m pretty flexible with the times too. The way I’ll care for pets in my clients house is by the owner letting me know what your dog enjoys doing and what he doesn’t that way we won’t have any issues.

About: Hi there, my name is Lella! I am so excited to take care of your pets. I grew up with Boston Terriers and have been taking care of dogs ever since. I swear animals are my love language. Dogs, cats, bunnies, even horses - I love them all! My apartment doesn't allow me to have pets, a tragedy, so I cherish any opportunity to spend time with dogs. I've taken care of dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. From little Jack Russels to big Pit Bulls, I will give your dog all the love, care, and belly rubs they need. In addition to taking care of dogs, I also worked as a nanny before, so I'm not squeamish when it comes to poop, vomit, and some of the other less pleasant things about having a dog. For particularly energetic dogs, with some advanced notice, I am happy to schedule a run with them to help them get it out of their system. I work from home 3-4 days a week, so I can be flexible with walks, or work from your home for longer stays. Please feel free to reach out with any questions! I work from home 3-4 days a week, so before work, after work, or during lunch hours, walks are very easy to schedule in. I am also more than happy to work from your home for longer watches and overnight stays. Please make sure to have poop bags and a leash available for walks. For longer stays, lists of meds and food amounts/timings will be needed. I will always bring treats and cheer to any care service!

Lorraine Q.Star Sitter
“Lorraine is easily the most attentive and loving dog owner that I know. She helped nurse both of her pups to a healthy weight and is very careful of their meal schedules. Her dogs get at least 2-3 walks daily and are very friendly around other dogs, animals, and people. She has put their needs and care before her own and numerous occasions and her pups are some of the happiest dogs I know.”

Jeff & Emily M.
“Jeff is my oldest brother and for the past 14 years has taken care of our family dog as perfectly as a person can. He would constantly checks what food is good for our dog, which brand is safe and won't cause any issues. How to take care of our dog if he was scared from any thunder or harsh weather happening. If our dog was sick what was the best way to treat him before going to the vet and following their advice. And when he wasn't doing any of that he would spend a majority of his time playing with our dog outside, taking him to the park, walking around and enjoying nature and when our dog got tired would relax indoors with him in a very calm and chilling environment. Jeff is the perfect blend of a responsible father but also a loving parent.”

Gladys M.
“Gladys is a responsible and loving dogmom and would make an excellent dogwalker/petsitter. She's firm and loving with her own dog, who can sometimes be a bit of a handful. She's obviously familiar with dogwalking in a challenging urban environment. She is also very respectful of people's personal property and honest, so everyone can feel comfortable having her stay over for pet sitting. In short, entrusting your pet with Gladys is a win-win proposition!”

Gabriella M.
“Lella is a reliable, hardworking, and caring petsitter and professional! She took excellent care of my cat while I was away. Lella is organized and detail-oriented, and followed all my care instructions closely. I really appreciated the photos and updates she sent throughout her stay. Lella is a true animal lover that will care for your pet like they were her own. I came home to a happy cat and a tidy home. I highly recommend her!”
Upper West Side pet parents share their Rover experiences
Great communication & attentive care for our 1yr old kitty. Leta completed all the care items we requested; feeding, litter and play. She also updated us on how our cat was handling our first away trip. 10/10 recommend! - new cat owner, first time Rover user

Marissa did an absolutely wonderful job caring for our three cats! Took time before the booking to come over to the apartment, walk through everything, and pick up the keys. Daily messages and photo updates made me so happy ! Followed all instructions thoroughly. I could tell Marissa genuinely enjoyed getting to know the kitties which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away, highly recommend!

Anne is a wonderful pet sitter and we’re so lucky to have found her! She truly has a gift with animals - my very skittish and shy cat was comfortable with her almost immediately - and she sends thoughtful updates that we look forward to whenever we are out of town. Thanks for everything!
