“There’s no words that can describe the amazing experience my dogs and I had using Heathers house sitting and dog walking services! My dogs used to go the kennel and would seem depressed and scared when getting them home. I came back after 4 days and the dogs acted like I just left. Apparently they didn’t need to miss me since they were showered with love and affection the entire time. Heather doesn’t mention it on her profile, but she sends you the most fantastic photos of your pet!! The photos you receive seem like you hired her specifically for glamor shots of your pets. I’m actually excited to take another vacation knowing that there’s an amazing soul like Heather that will care for your pets like they are her own!”

“I can not say enough wonderful things about Carol! This was our first experience using her services and we were so happy! She is kind, caring, thoughtful, responsive and truly loved our dogs like her own while we were gone. She handled our special needs dog and our other dog who is sometimes fussy with a tricky tummy with absolute ease! She sent photos and updates daily which was very appreciated bc we are definitely worriers when we are away! Carol was just tremendous! We will 100% be having her back to care for our fur babies and look after our home! She is the BEST!”

“Devon & Kai were great! Booked them for the first time for house sitting (multiple days) with our pup who was 6 wks post-op recovery from TPLO surgery. Naturally we had unique care instructuons & were nervous leaving our recovering fur family member in someone else's care for 4 days but Devon was so flexible and willing to adapt to our needs we knew we found the right team! Already looking at possible future dates - def recommend!”

“Angela took excellent care of our dog and home while we were away for the weekend. She kept us up to date with photos and messages throughout her stay. We came back to a nice clean home and happy dog! Thank you Angela!”
“Jessica was wonderful with our pup! We felt so safe and relived to find a great sitter to stay with our dog for the weekend! Will be booking again. You’re fur babies are in good hands with her! Thank you Jessica! ❤️”

“Howie had a great time with Hannah! She was so attentive to him, texted me photos, kept me updated. She alerted me to something she had noticed, and I knew he was in really good hands! Thanks Hannah!!”

“Maia was fantastic! She is very professional and reliable, consistently communicates with updates as requested. She also stayed with our chihuahua for 11 days in the middle of nasty winter weather and handled any and all issues very well. The pup and our house were in perfect shape when we got home.”

“Imani was wonderful during her visit with our dog! Our dog really seemed to like her, she was communicative and helped put our minds at ease! We will definitely hire Imani in the future.”

“Miya was great with our dogs. We really appreciated her spending extra time with them while we were away. It made our drive home that more less pressured to find out she stayed longer than necessary to reduce the time our puppy had to spend in her crate. Trustworthy, kind, and communicative!”

“Roxanne is very reliable and took excellent care of Pua while we were away on vacation. Having her staying in the house gave us peace of mind because it was comforting to Pua, we knew meals and meds were administered as prescribed, and also helpful for us to have someone keeping an eye on our home. We loved receiving photos and video of Pua every day from Roxanne. We could relax, knowing that Pua and Roxanne were bonding and keeping to her normal schedule.”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs of all ages since I was 18 years old! I’m a cat owner of 4 years myself as well, and my kitty is my very best friend. As far as sitting, I have done mostly done overnight stays, but I have done pop ins and walking as well. I’ve sat for small dogs and large, puppies, kittens and elderly pups. I absolutely love spending time around and caring for animals. I do work part time, usually averaging about 5 shifts a week. I make my own schedule biweekly, and my shifts are generally no more than 5-6 hours, so my hours are extremely flexible depending on when I’m needed! I am all for play, walking, and unlimited pets when I dog/cat sit. I will pay careful attention when it comes to letting them out if there is a fenced yard, as well as to their collar and leash prior to taking them out on walks. A pet owners directions are very important to me as far as feeding/potty/medication times, and I take the responsibility of caring for any animal very seriously.

Upper Providence pet parents share their Rover experiences
Julia is hands down the BEST dog walker/sitter out there! She really goes above and beyond. From finding alternative non-pavement activities for our dog on hot days to cleaning our house & leaving behind crocheted dog bandanas while dog sitting, Julia always leaves us feeling impressed. We felt so at ease leaving our dog in her care while on vacation, and received such consistent updates that we didn’t need to check in, not even once. We are so grateful we found her!
