About: I have always felt a special connection with animals and grown up my whole life in a pet household. I have always had cats and small pets but it wasn’t until 5 years ago I finally got my own dog. We rescued him from a traumatic past so he had a lot of anxiety and fear. It taught me so much about caring for a more special needs pet that provided me with more patience, discipline and understanding for animals. I also have an adult cat and these two animals collectively make me so happy. These experiences have led me to want to give back in some way as a pet caregiver!
