About: I am a lifetime lover and owner of dogs. While other kids watched Saturday morning cartoons, I watched shows about dog training and dog breeds. I grew up around dogs of all types and have always loved having one by my side. Our family recently lost our dog, and while I’m not ready to commit to dog ownership full time, I miss having one around and want to help other families. I have experience walking different types of dogs that have varying levels of leash skills, managing special dietary and medication needs and can adapt to their activity requirements. If you have a dog that’s used to being part of an active family, or at least around one, I could be a great fit for you. I shared availability that accommodates long weekend boarding needs. This is when I consistently work from home or am off so that I can be around and give your dog the best care. You can expect regular breaks and walks for your dog on my work from home days. On the weekends, I will include your dog in my family activities. While busy, I am at our home base a lot, and much of the activity involves walking the borough, going on mini adventures in nearby parks, or hanging at our house with friends. Including a furry guest into my family-centered lifestyle is easy (and fun!) for me to do. I have a fenced in yard, live in an extremely walkable neighborhood, and have a gated off mudroom when your dog needs a little more space or down time. My kids understand animal boundaries well for their age and are used to respecting their space. While they will not be responsible for your dog’s care, they will be around. My cat is suspicious, but typically tolerant of dogs once he gets used to them.

We have two fixed male dogs & 3 cats at home. Dog is energetic and friendly. Cats are shy, they usually just stay away from dog(s).We have our family room cleared for dog to play, and a fenced backyard that allows dog to burn their energy anytime. We are looking forward to meeting and taking care of dogs&cats! Zhuoran is currently at home 24/7. All dogs are crate-free in family room unless there is behavior issue during the day, and all dogs stay in the bedroom with us at night. - Dog walking schedule: 6:30am, 11am, 3pm, 8pm, and before bed time. In weekends we take dogs to fully fenced dog parks for 30~60min. Schedules are adjustable as needed. I'm currently stay at home 24/7. We wake up 6:00am for the first walk, and a short walk every 3~5 hours. My working station is in the family room right next to dogs, so I can take care of the dogs quickly if anything happened. We have a cleared family room with a safe gate, the whole space is belong to the dogs. We also have a fully fenced backyard that allows dogs to burn their energy and enjoy the fresh air.

About: I’ve taken care of and trained dogs since I was 10. Friends and Family come to me with dog sitting needs I’m reliable and am comfortable with large and small dogs. For drop-ins, I bring snuffle mats, food puzzles, and other enrichment activities so your dog gets mental challenges as well as play. This tires them out! I have tons of dog experience by always having a dog in my household growing up. I volunteered at Providence Animal Center for over a year in my teenage years and most recently worked at a dog daycare for over 2 years. “This is about the 4th time that Kate has taken care of my precious mini Schnauzer. This was a 10 day visit. My Schnauzer is so warm and loving but she can be shy. She is very cooperative and loves Kate. She had not seen Kate for over 5 months and when we drove up, she gave a howl of recognition and delight. Needless to say, my dog pulled me into the house. We had a vacation and so did my dog. Kate is genuinely kind and caring. She sends me photos daily and does not hesitate to ask a question. However, Kate knows my dog so well (and dogs in general) and always has her best interest at heart. I know that my dog had a wonderful time with Kate. If you need a dog sitter in the Media area or for that matter, I suggest driving to have Kate take care of your precious dog. I knew Kate before I knew she was on Rover. When, she told me, I jumped at the chance for my dog to stay with her. I cannot stress enough how professional, caring, communicative and loving Kate is with my dog. I had a great vacation and so did my Schnauzer! You do not need to search, Kate is the best!!”

It’s not always easy finding someone who understands the needs of older dogs, but Olivia was incredibly patient and kind. She kept us updated throughout their stay with sweet photos and check-ins that made us feel completely at ease. Kiwi still has bursts of playful energy, while Luna enjoys a slower, calmer pace — and Olivia balanced their different needs beautifully. We came home to two happy pups and that says everything. We’re so grateful to have found her and would absolutely book with Olivia again in a heartbeat.”
