She provided updates with pictures, managed my dogs meds, and kept them calm and comfortable while I was away (despite anxiety, storms, and fireworks!). I knew I didn’t need to worry about my dogs at all while they were in Angela’s care. I came home to two calm pups and an immaculate house. I feel we hit the jackpot with Angela!”

We recently got our dog as a rescue, and she's very nervous around new people, so I was worried about leaving her for a week. But Kathy spent an hour walking her and getting to know her once a week for the three weeks prior to her stay so that our dog would be comfortable. She clearly loves dogs and was dedicated to being here all day with the dog while we were away (not in an out for other work or errands etc). She took our dog out for multiple walks each day and played with her in the yard. She seny us twice a day pictures and updates. To top it off, our house was spotless when we returned (cleaner than we left it!).”

About: I have cared for animals ranging from dogs to bunnies and have taken care of my own dog, cat, and bunny for over 5 years now :) I have also volunteered at pet value helping care for the kittens up for adoption! I have experience caring for rabbits, dogs, and cats of all ages including puppies, kittens, and elderly animals with special care needed. I have pet sat before and love spending time with furry friends! I am currently just a student so I should have plenty of time to care for your pets when needed! I am more than happy to stay the night with your pets and to spend as much time needed to ensure that they are well cared for! I have a large dog park and a cat to keep your furry friends company and will be able to crate your pet if needed :) I also have rooms where i can separate your pet from mine if your furry friend is not super social!

About: I am currently a vet tech who is applying to vet school. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelors of science in animal and poultry sciences in December of 2024. I have taken many classes that focus on animal behavior and training. I’m trained in administrating medication for both cats and dogs. I have also worked with pets that have myriads of health and behavioral issues. I have my own dog, Maisy. We are both accustomed to early mornings and late nights. I am very flexible and can help out whenever needed. My dog is harness trained, face harness trained, and shock collar trained. We eat at scheduled times and she is trained to wait for treats/food until allowed. I will treat clients pets similar to my own. I will get to know them, build a relationship, and interact with them in ways that make us both feel comfortable. I also work in a Fear Free clinic and have learned how to make animals comfortable in my presence.
