About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and am also comfortable caring for cats. I’ve provided pet care for neighbors and have experience managing different personalities and energy levels. What sets me apart is my hands-on experience working at a veterinary hospital and a zoo, where I learned safe handling, how to recognize signs of stress or illness, and how to maintain proper care routines. I’m patient, attentive, and adaptable, and I’m especially comfortable with active dogs as well as providing gentle care for younger or more sensitive pets. I am also quite the green-thumb if you need your plants watered!🌸🪴🌼🌱🌻 My schedule is very open and flexible, which allows me to easily accommodate pet care throughout the day and week. I’m available for morning, midday, evening, and weekend visits, and I can adjust my routine to meet each pet’s specific needs, including walks, feeding times, and check-ins. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment in my client’s home. I am very attentive and detail-oriented, and I carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, and any special instructions. I ensure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure and supervise pets closely during play. I pay close attention to behavior and can recognize signs of stress or illness. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep routines consistent to help pets feel comfortable and safe.

About: Hello ~ I am a stay at home mom and enjoy spending time with all my pup friends. I am happy to offer dog boarding at my home. Currently, I am catering to small 0-15 lbs & medium size dogs up to 35 lbs. Your pet(s) will be treated like family and will have access to a very large backyard that is fenced in, so your dog(s) will never feel confined and will have plenty of room to run/exercise, play & explore or simply chill under a tree. Also the entire property has surveillance cameras, so everyone will be well protected. I have three super friendly small/medium size dogs that have been very well socialized and are always SO happy to welcome a new play pal! A 'meet & greet' will ensure we are a good fit:) Photos and or videos will be provided to you everyday. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Looking forward to meeting you & your pet(s)! Thanks, ~M As a stay at home mom, with the kiddos in school during the day, I have extra free time to give the dogs the attention and quality care you seek in a pet sitter. Also my husband works from home, so the house is always attended👍 I have been fortunate to have met the most wonderful pet parents who now have been repeat clients for years. A favorite feature is our backyard, located on a one acre property is fenced in and it's as large as a small park, this allows for plenty of healthy exercise and fun play or simply chilling at a favorite spot. I walk the backyard every day to ensure there is no debris that can cause harm to the dogs. Also the yard is kept leveled so that there are no accidents when running. To make sure everyone is well hydrated, fresh clean water is accessible to the dogs every day at all times, inside of the house and in the backyard.

We accidentally left the door locked, and Angela kindly waited for us to call her with the code. She even made a return trip for us once we finally were able to get the door unlocked, I would highly recommend her. She is a faithful and determined pet sitter.

Chen has been a blessing! I was looking for a reliable dog walker for a while. Chen is great with my two large labradoodles who have a tendency to pull from time to time. She is always punctual and communicative when the schedule needs to change. I appreciate that she always sends pictures and updates of how the pups are doing and keeps me posted of their shenanigans like when they got into their wet food the other day. She even cleaned it up and put the food away for me. If you are looking for someone to take care of your pups I highly recommend Chen! She is great!

I was so nervous leaving without it being someone I knew but she made me feel so reassured, Elsa instantly loved her and she was amazing with communication while I was away! I highly recommend her and will want to have her care for Elsa anytime I’m ever needing help in the future!

About: Hi! I am a huge animal lover and I’ve been dog walking on and off the apps for years now. I also have my own dog at home. Let me know if you’re at work or away and need some help with yours! I take care of my dog very well and when she’s settled she’s okay with taking a nap while I go walk more dogs! I love staying busy during the week especially! I would come to your house and take your dog out or on a walk in your neighborhood. I’ll pick up their poop and dispose of it properly. If you would like I can take a picture of your dog while we walk. I can feed your dog and fill their water. I also do drop-ins if your dog just needs a little company or wants to go in the backyard.

About: I have been around animals my whole life and have experience for dogs of all sizes and personalities, as well as cats. I am also comfortable with fish, reptiles, and other small pets, so I can cover any additional pets other than dogs and cats. What sets me apart is that I treat every pet as an individual. Whether your pets loves walks, or playing, or just company to hang out with, I’ll make sure to give them the care they need, as well as the style they prefer. I know how stressful it can be to leave a pet with someone else, so I value communication above all. Whether it be photos, quick updates, or detailed summaries of each visit, I prioritize a clean and quick path of communication, from the moment my services are required, the moment they’re complete. I am currently out of school and starting a full-time job in late August, so this summer is very open for me. I do not currently have a part-time position, so my days are super open and I will take all work offered to me. I live in Wayne, with a large, fenced-in yard, around a spacious and clean home. I have siblings, all of which have as much experience with and love for animals as I do. With my siblings being in school and having sports and jobs, and my parents having work, the house is usually completely empty anyways. We are the ‘go-to’ house when any family or friends need a pet-sitter, so we’re all very comfortable dogs of all sizes and personalities.

About: I have had dogs my whole life, and have grown up around dogs and cats alike. I love all fur babies, and strive to create a meaningful playful bond with all animals. I have a pit bull name Orbit, who I’ve taught commands and trainings. Most of all I understand, needing to feel like your dog is okay while you’re out of the house. I completely know the feeling of feeling guilt about going out while your dog gives you puppy eyes lol. I strive to ease both fur babies and owners minds. I have a lot of experience pet sitting, and boarding dogs additionally. I have pet sat since I was 15, and am very familiar with all things pet sitting, boarding, walking, and feeding related. I currently work mostly nights. I am available most days in the morning, afternoon, and my Sunday's are always free. I have room in my schedule to adjust to fit your pets needs. Please just tell me 1 week in advance so I can accommodate your pets needs if need be. I always make sure that my dog has everything he need to thrive in his home. This obviously includes the essential like making sure he stays hydrated, but also making sure he gets enough enrichment. I practice enrichment's with him, and come up with fun ways to make sure his brain is getting enough stimulation. I also take him on walks regularly, and when walking observe body language to make sure he’s in a comfortable environment. And of course plenty of treats. In fact I like to make homemade treats, because my dog has a sensitive stomach.

About: I have devoted my life to learning about animal behavior and enrichment, and I am always eager to use this knowledge to give any pet I care for the best time possible. I have cared for several species over the course of my life, including dogs, cats, fish, rodents and more. I am also someone who is very passionate about dog training using fun, reward-focused techniques to build a strong relationship and help work through any challenges a pup may have. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters, where I cared for both dogs and cats through cleaning their enclosures, walking them, playing with them and ensuring their needs were met. Overall, I have a very well-rounded knowledge of what it takes to go above and beyond for any pet I’m working with. I am currently in college and I plan for pet sitting to be my major professional focus during this time, so rest assured that your pet will be my top priority when it comes to my work schedule! Because of my intense love for animals, I am always happy and willing to fit any pet into my daily routine and I try to keep an open schedule to accommodate your care needs. Your pet’s safety and happiness is my top priority in all situations. Whether I am in your home, going for a walk, or just checking in, all of my energy will go to making sure that your pet is having the best time possible in a kind, supportive environment. About: Hi, I’m Julia! I’ve taken care of many different kinds of dogs and cats for the last 5 years and grew up around both since I was born! I love to stay active as well as travel when I can, which means I never take it lightly when someone trusts me with their pet, I know how important it is for them to feel like family💞 I’m headed into my senior year at Flagler College where I’m studying Marketing, but I also have a strong customer service background that makes me an excellent communicator and keeps me alert and ready! I’m currently a student during the year and working part time, but I’ve never had an issue finding time to come over and walk, or take off for a week or two when necessary (and Rover is very necessary to me!). I have two cats at home that roam freely in the house, but I’ve helped foster animals that need to be separated, crated, and live indoor/outdoor as the owner sees fit! I’ve also helped clean these houses: I’m extremely adaptable.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Echo Valley. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Echo Valley.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Echo Valley. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
