About: I’ve been caring for animals since grade school and truly can’t remember a time without pets in my life. I grew up with two dogs, Bailey and Shakespeare, a cat named Tooka, and a rotating cast of birds, fish, hermit crabs, and other small chaos-makers. I recently returned home from New Zealand, where I spent four months thru-hiking the length of the country. I’m now back in the suburbs of Philadelphia working as a substitute teacher. I’m an early riser and usually wrap up with work around 2:30pm. That schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I’m available for morning feedings and walks, afternoon check-ins after school, and evening visits as needed.
