Thank you for taking care of our Maddie. Margaret was kind enough to meet our girl before she came to walk and care for her. I loved the pictures and information received. My pup has a lot of separation anxiety and we were glad to have Margaret here to take care of her.

About: I’m an avid animal lover with plenty of dog experience. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds. I was a dog walker for a few families while my kids were young and at school. I currently have a senior pittie. I don’t have a ton of cat experience, but I’m always happy to learn! I work full time from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I can easily do mornings, late afternoon and evenings as well as weekends. I can come to your home for visits, walks and playtime. My dog is family, your home and animals will be treated the same way.

Rebecca took care of our Elsa on the first trip I’ve gone without her. I was so nervous leaving without it being someone I knew but she made me feel so reassured, Elsa instantly loved her and she was amazing with communication while I was away! I highly recommend her and will want to have her care for Elsa anytime I’m ever needing help in the future!

We accidentally left the door locked, and Angela kindly waited for us to call her with the code. She even made a return trip for us once we finally were able to get the door unlocked, I would highly recommend her. She is a faithful and determined pet sitter.

About: Hello! I work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to play and spend time with all my pup friends. Also, my wife is a stay-at home mom which means your pup(s) will have 24/7 companionship. Throughout the years I have been fortunate to have met great pet parents who have now become regular clients. I understand how difficult it is to find reliable and trustworthy pet care and I am happy to help out! Currently, I am boarding small & medium size dogs up (to 35 lbs) and will accept more than one dog, (up to 3), if they are from the same family. Your pet will be treated like family and will have access to a very large, fenced in backyard, so your dog(s) will never feel confined and will have plenty of room to exercise, play & explore or simply chill under a tree. Also, the entire property has surveillance cameras, so everyone is well protected. I have three super friendly small/medium size dogs that have been very well socialized and are always SO happy to welcome a new play pal! A 'meet & greet' will ensure we are a good fit:) Photos and or videos will be provided to you every day. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Looking forward to meeting you & your pet(s)! Thanks, Mike I work from home and have schedule flexibility to attend to your pet(s) every need. Also my wife is a stay at home mom, this means companionship 24/7 I am available on weekdays and weekends. Please reach out for specific requests. At home, my pets receive excellent care. Just like with my own pets, I will provide expert, attentive pet care to yours. Pictures and videos will be provided every day to ensure owner's piece of mind. Additionally, the entire property is video monitored, providing an additional layer of safety.

About: I have had dogs all my life, and have been trusted to care for my family’s, neighbors’ and friends’ puppies and dogs since I was 10. I have had dogs that have needed surgery and rehabilitation and actively participated in their recovery. I have cared for senior dogs and cats with various conditions that needed special care. I have also had experience with puppies and their unique needs, including the importance of a set routine and carrying over any training they are involved in during our time together. I work PRN and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. As a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant, I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and accustomed to entering clients’ homes with professionalism. I understand the importance of trust, communication, and careful observation, and I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own. I will be more than happy to walk your dog, play with them in your home or yard, feed them, make sure they have clean water, give them their medication if needed, and of course provide them with lots of love and attention!

Chen has been a blessing! I was looking for a reliable dog walker for a while. Chen is great with my two large labradoodles who have a tendency to pull from time to time. She is always punctual and communicative when the schedule needs to change. I appreciate that she always sends pictures and updates of how the pups are doing and keeps me posted of their shenanigans like when they got into their wet food the other day. She even cleaned it up and put the food away for me. If you are looking for someone to take care of your pups I highly recommend Chen! She is great!

About: For the past four years, I have volunteered with the ASPCA, where I have gained valuable hands on experience caring for animals of all ages. In addition, I have worked as a pet sitter for the past three years and have become a trusted dog walker and pet sitter within my community, providing reliable care whenever families need assistance. My experience extends well beyond pet sitting. My family and I have fostered more than 50 dogs, ranging from newborn puppies to senior dogs, who needed to be loved exclusively during their final stages of life. Animals have always been a central part of my life, and I am deeply committed to treating every pet as if they were my own. My highest priority is to ensure each animal feels safe, loved, and well cared for while in my care, giving pet owners complete peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you! I am a student at Villanova University, and currently on summer break, therefore I have a very flexible schedule and can easily accommodate to your pet's needs! I prefer to care for pets at the clients home, as our dogs are all rescues and not friendly around other animals. I offer a variety of services to fit your pet's needs, including dog walking, drop-in visits, daytime pet sitting, overnight stays, and check-ins for feeding, potty breaks, or companionship while you're away. I will treat your pets like family and will always care for them as if they were my own!

About: My family has owned cats and dogs ever since I was born so I grew up around them. I started pet sitting at 12, both cats and dogs. This consisted of feeding and playing with dogs and cats along with walking dogs and staying over as needed. I typically am in the office for work, but can work from home as needed. If I am in the office I am usually there 8-4. I would prefer to keep your pet company at your house if applicable and have no problem spending my days there. I have three cats of my own that have not recently been around dogs. I can crate, play, and feed as needed.

About: I’ve taken care of and trained dogs since I was 10. Friends and Family come to me with dog sitting needs I’m reliable and am comfortable with large and small dogs. I am currently working from home at a hybrid job and occasionally have to leave the house for a monthly meeting. Dogs make life better. I take the dogs out to play outside and throw a ball for them, they usually rest after all that, and I give them a little training and alot of love during the day. I walk them in a few different parks so they’re always entertained. The dogs hang out with me all day and are fed as per their owners request.

About: Hello! I love dogs and currently have two large breed dogs at my parent’s home that have moderate and energetic play levels. I have tons of dog experience by always having a dog in my household growing up. I volunteered at Providence Animal Center for over a year in my teenage years and most recently worked at a dog daycare for over 2 years. I love to go on hikes and explore, so any energy level for your dog is great. I also own my own car and have a license so transportation will not be a problem. I am willing to travel to walk dogs if that helps. Hope to be able to walk dogs as a part-time second job (I am registered nurse as my full-time job) and am willing to work for whatever rate you choose. Please consider me for your dog walking needs. Thank you!

  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
