“Rebecca is amazing with our 3 dogs and 1 puppy. A challenge always but I feel confident leaving our pups with such sn experienced, caring, and patient handler. Great pictures were provided as well!!!!”

“We went away overnight for a trip and didn’t want to put our dog in boarding, so we looked at Rover. As first time users, we had some concerns that were immediately addressed by Margaret. She responded to our questions and scheduled a meet and greet at our apartment right away. I loved how many pictures we got for the several walks and even the updates on potty breaks. As overprotective as we can be of our dog, we could tell right away he’d be safe and cared for by Margaret while we were away.”

“Lorrie was so kind . I had her come and meet us for the first time, as we search for dog sitters. Lorrie got on the floor and just sat and pet Cali as we talked; Cali took right to her :) I will definitely be calling on Lorrie for her drop-in services.”

“Gianna is incredibly responsive, reliable, and took wonderful care of my senior dog. I would absolutely book Gianna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

“Angela is a very thoughtful and attentive caretaker for cat drop ins! We were so fortunate to have her care for our two cats for a week over the holidays and she made sure they felt the love, and we were at ease being away for an extended period of time knowing that she was caring for them.”
About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover who turned my passion into a professional career. I have over 4 years of experience as an independent pet sitter, specializing in the care that requires an extra level of attention and expertise. Whether your pet is a playful kitten or a beloved senior, I treat every animal like family. My background is specifically focused on Senior & Disabled Care: Supporting older pets with mobility issues or specialized routines. Medical Management: Confident and experienced in administering oral medications, injections, and following strict medical protocols. Lifetime of Experience: I’ve been around animals since I was a kid, so I’m deeply in tune with pet body language and needs. I want to provide the best care possible while staying accessible! Please note: To cover transit time and costs, any bookings located 5miles or further from 19146 will incur a travel fee of 5$ I work from home so I can pet sit, walk, or check in on your fur babies whenever needed. including overnight or for more than one day. I have a lot of experience with all sorts of animals from runners and behaviorally challenged to disable and senior animals I dont do sittings at my house but i'm looking into taking daycares for eligible animals! I do not do boarding all daycares are held in public usually along trails or at local dog parks!
“Outstanding. Bree was always on time and did a great job. Her communication skills are great and she showed lots of love to our dogs. Highly recommended.”

“Roxanne came to my rescue after we booked a last minute getaway! She watched Lucy once before and was excellent so I knew Lucy would be in good hands and I could relax while away. Roxanne showed up right on time and sent texts and photos for all drop in visits. Will definitely request her again. Thanks Roxanne!”

“Ariana was so sweet and responsive. She took great care of our big sweet boy. He took some pictures too which is nice. We will definitely keep using Ariana for walking Rio. Thank you so much!”

“Rachel is a wonderful dog sitter. She's very responsible and communicative, and our pups love her. She brings a real level of care to her work, which we're so appreciative of.”

“Abby has helped me out last minute a few times and I’ve been so grateful for her help! Our anxious dog, Buddy, knows her name now! He gets so excited when I say “Abby is coming soon” :)”

“Kai and Devon did a fantastic job watching our cat, fish, and birds while we were out of town! They were reliable and sent us great updates. We just moved in and the house isn't even set up, and they rolled with it. Highly recommended!!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Edgemont. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
