“Margaret got back to me right away every time I sent a Message. She couldn’t have been nicer. I don’t know if she even got to see my cat (she’s a hider), but she did a great job!”

“Leigh was great and so flexible with my last minutes needs! Every detail was followed and Duch was well taken care of! I definitely recommend Leigh and will be rebooking in the future!!”

“Book Rebecca ASAP!!! Searching for a reliable, patient, and caring pet sitter can be exhausting. We spent countless hours trying to find a sitter for our pup Charlie, who is not very fond of new people. I couldn’t be more grateful that we came across Rebecca’s profile. In two short visits, he is miles more comfortable with her than he has been with sitters he spent months with. She knows exactly how to handle his quirks and acknowledges that he needs extra time and care to warm up. I trust her completely with our home and our fur baby. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she is looking after, and we are so relieved we finally found someone we can rely on to look after Charlie while we are away without a single worry. I will only be booking with Rebecca moving forward!”

“Kieralyn was great with our dogs. They aren’t used to being left at home and she made sure they wee fed and well taken care of. We were able to schedule and make adjustments easily so highly recommend.”
“Cal and Kris were great and went above and beyond! Dozer seemed so happy to spend time with them, they rolled with the punches (regarding some schedule changes), were very responsive and overall so kind!! Cannot recommend enough!”

About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was 4 years old. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk and feed their pets as well. I also volunteer at a humane society and take care of the cats there. I’m a recent college graduate looking to make a little extra money to pay for grad school. I’m fully available and flexible at this time. I have plenty of time to take your dogs on walks and play with them. They will always feel loved and supported with me by their side.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and absolutely love caring for animals! 🐾 I currently work at the University of Pennsylvania’s Ryan Veterinary Hospital, and my father is a critical care veterinary nurse, so animals and veterinary care have always been a big part of my life. I’m responsible, caring, and will treat your pets like my own! ❤️ I am currently available on weekends and Mondays and Fridays! I have availability Tuesday - Thursday after 6:30pm. I do have a full time job at UPenn’s Veterinary Hospital which is why my availability is limited Tuesday - Thursday. I unfortunately cannot care for pets in my home, as I have two cats of my own. I have no problem coming to your home and following any specific rules you may have for your own fur baby.

“Gianna is incredibly responsive, reliable, and took wonderful care of my senior dog. I would absolutely book Gianna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

“Christie did a wonderful job tending to my two cats. One who isn't very social with other people besides myself seemed to come out of his shell a little bit. I'm certain if Christie had a couple more visits, Bootsy would have let her pet him. I would definitely book Christie again!”

“Angela is a very thoughtful and attentive caretaker for cat drop ins! We were so fortunate to have her care for our two cats for a week over the holidays and she made sure they felt the love, and we were at ease being away for an extended period of time knowing that she was caring for them.”
“Richard was amazing with my dog Julio I didn’t have to worry about anything with him or the dog, he was on time very polite and respectful. He took amazing care of my baby and I will definitely be booking him more often”

“Lauren took wonderful care of our cat Rio for a long weekend. He loves being around people, so we always worry about him being lonely. Lauren and Rio were fast friends and we knew he would be in good hands in our absence. :) We would recommmend Lauren and likely book again!”

About: I’ve taken care of people’s pets for years. Any time any friends or family have had to leave their fur-babies at home to go on a trip, I’ve always been the one they reach out to. I’ve always loved taking care of people’s pets and getting to know them and seeing their personalities when they get comfortable with me. I’m currently employed full-time as a barista (most of my shifts being in the mornings) but I would absolutely love and would be more than happy to spend time with your pets whenever it is needed if they’re able to be alone for a couple of hours! I’ve always let new pets I’ve met for the first time come up to me on their own and smell me and get comfortable with me before invading their space. I understand a lot of pets don’t feel super comfortable around complete strangers so making them feel as comfortable and safe as possible is always my priority!
“Highly recommend Regan, she took great care of our 4 month old pup. She went the extra mile to make sure he settled down before leaving and kept us in the loop the whole time.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Willistown
Margaret always does a great job when she watches our kitties and we appreciate her so much! Both cats seem well-adjusted and calm in the report card photos (which we love seeing while on vacation!) and when we get home, so I know she has a gentle approach to their daily care that they seem to feel comfortable with.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Willistown. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
