“I was booking last minute, so we weren't able to do a meet & greet, but Margaret was able to follow my instructions perfectly and sent an update with pictures. So gald she was able to drop in and I would definitely reach out next time I need a sitter”

“Alex is amazing and I feel very lucky to have her care for my cat. My cat really enjoys being with her and always looks happy in the photos and videos she sends. She gives thoughtful updates after every visit and keeps me reassured when I am away. She is easy to talk to and always responsive. I would happily recommend Alex and will absolutely book with her again.”

About: I started dog sitting about six years ago for a family friend and quickly realized how much I loved it. While I grew up with two cats and didn’t spend much time around dogs at first, dog sitting gave me the opportunity to gain hands on experience and build confidence caring for them. Since then, I’ve worked with several families who trust me to care for their dogs while they’re away, and I truly enjoy spending time with their furry friends. I’ve cared for dogs with a wide range of personalities, from shy and reserved to those who can’t get enough attention. I believe it’s very important to help pets feel comfortable and secure in their own environment while their owners are away. I take the time to understand each dog’s needs, routines, and personality so they feel safe and well cared for. I’m also a very active person and love going for walks, which are always better with a dog by my side. Whether it’s a relaxed stroll or a longer walk to burn off energy, I enjoy making sure dogs get both exercise and companionship. I currently work full time, but I typically work from home, which allows me to be flexible with pet care throughout the day. I’m open to creating a plan that works best for both of us and meets your dog’s specific needs and routine. In the past, I’ve supported families in different ways depending on what works best for them. For example, I’ve stayed at a family’s home and worked remotely from there while they were away, ensuring their dog had consistent companionship. For other families, I’ve made multiple visits throughout the day to provide attention, walks, feeding, and fresh water. This flexibility allows me to provide reliable care while maintaining each dog’s normal routine and comfort. I am very responsible and treat my clients homes with the same care and respect as I would my own. It is extremely important to me that both you and your dog feel comfortable, safe, and confident while you are away. I understand that trusting someone with your home and your pet is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously.

“Ami was incredible to work with. She’s thorough and communicative and I felt so at ease knowing my cat was being so well taken care of. Can’t recommend her highly enough.”

“Eleanor did an amazing job taking care of our cat Jax that is facing kidney issues. Jax requires multiple oral medicines as well as an IV injection daily, neither of which he is a fan of, but Eleanor was able to swaddle him, administer his medicines, and make it as painless as possible. Would definitely recommend.”

“Rebecca was absolutely wonderful. She checked on our kitties while we were out of town for two and a half weeks. She provided several videos per check-in, and gave them treats. They seemed so happy and comfortable with her in all the videos! I’m so grateful for her services. I’d choose her again and again to watch our boys!”

“Kieralyn did an incredible job taking care of our four cats for a week during the nights. One of them needed medical attention, and she handled it wonderfully. She made sure they always had enough food and water, thoroughly cleaned the litter boxes, and gave our cat the necessary insulin shots. She took such great care of them that we believe our cats will miss her! We couldn’t have asked for better care.”

“Great guy! Came by for a free pre-sitting check in to talk over needs and meet our cats. Very kind and thorough! He sent many adorable pictures. I would recommend!”

About: Hi, I’m Angela. I treat dog sitting like I am a parent. I’m always up to date on communication with owners via text and picture sending! I prioritize following written out rules so your pet feels safe and in routine. Another priority is to keep the pets best interest at heart with a calm and loving environment. I hope your pet enjoys a lot of pets and kisses! I work full time as a hairstylist but some weeks vary where I’m slower on certain days or don’t have any clients at all. I’m willing to work around that If pets come to my home, they’re more than welcome to free roam and couch/bed sit and cuddle. I have two cats, one that I am trying to get more comfortable with dogs.
About: I grew up around many big dogs. My family always had at least one but up to three. For the last four years I have done dog sittings for close family but I am now branching out to more dog sittings. I have worked with small and large dogs. I am currently going to college. If your home is nearby I can stop by between classes but my classes go no later than 3:30. I’ll listen to your wants and needs. I can crate dogs if that’s your preference and work with what you need. Each pet’s needs are different and the owner knows best.
“Julia was so kind and thorough! Provided great drop in care for my cat on our long thanksgiving weekend while we were out of town. My cat appreciated her patience and warmed up by the end! She sent lovely photos and updates, and left our house in perfect condition! Would definitely book with Julia again, and highly recommend!”

“Christie was amazing!! She was always sure to let me know how Faye was doing with a detailed description and gave her lots of attention. I was away for a week, and I was always comforted when Christie would send me pictures and details during her drop-in visits. Faye looked so happy! I will definitely be reaching out to Christie again. Thank you Christie!!”

“This was our second time booking with Nicole, and once again she was wonderful! She took great care of Spike and gave us so much peace of mind. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter”

“Nicole is the best! Our cats loved her when they met her and she took the best of care of them. Each day she let us know how they were doing and sent us photos. I hope she will be available the next time we go somewhere!”

Cheyney cat parents share their Rover experiences
Annie is truly the best. We exclusively book her for all 3 of our cats when we’re away and we never doubt for a second that they’re in good hands. She’s always on time, professional and always pays great attention to detail - especially recently when we had to make some diet changes and one of our cats had an injury, which meant a few changes in play and routine. Nevermind how great she is with us; all 3 of our cats adore her - and that’s saying a lot given they’re pretty slow to warm up with just about everyone else. Annie gives them plenty of play, pets/cuddles and meets them where they are depending on what their mood is. I highly recommend her.

Eleanor did an amazing job taking care of our cat Jax that is facing kidney issues. Jax requires multiple oral medicines as well as an IV injection daily, neither of which he is a fan of, but Eleanor was able to swaddle him, administer his medicines, and make it as painless as possible. Would definitely recommend.
