“Margaret is fantastic! She always takes excellent care of our kitties while we’re away, and it’s a comfort to see our fur babies doing so well when we come home!”

“Rebecca was amazing!! We have a 1 year old, very large St. Bernard mix that can be a little crazy and Rebecca handled her very well. About: Growing up on a farm I have had experience with animals my whole life. I have had small dogs of my own since I was born and have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I can accommodate almost any pet! I am fully available Thursday evening, Friday-Sunday all day and night. I will have time to give your pets full attention! I will be available to take they out and walk as often as requested. I have a large fenced yard and two small friendly dogs to keep your company or they can be kept separate if you wish. I take the time to ensure all pets are safe and attended to.
About: I’m a huge animal lover who connects with pets quickly and genuinely loves caring for them. Expect lots of affection, detailed updates, and someone who will learn their quirks fast and cater to them accordingly. Their happiness, comfort, and safety are my top priorities! I’m a freelance musician with a flexible schedule and great availability during regular weekday hours. Being my own boss allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, consistency, and care—I love using that flexibility to spend time with all the furry friends I meet 🐾 I respect your home and treat it with the utmost care while I’m there. I only use what’s necessary to care for your pet and always make sure everything is left just as I found it. My focus is on providing attentive, reliable care for your pet while being mindful that I’m a guest in your space.
“Liz is wonderful! She scheduled a meet n’ greet before our vacation to go over the care we needed for our 2 cats. While we were away, she provided Rover Card updates 2 times a day which included pictures. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing our cats were being well cared for in our home. We will definitely use her again!”

About: I have had two family dogs, Murphy and Miley, who have been my very best buddies. In addition to having dog- and cat-sat many summers before, my college roommate also had a sweet cat, Phoebe, that I cared for in her absence. I am ready to care for all types of dogs and cats, and I love dog walking! I recently graduated from Clemson University with a biology degree. I am a recent college graduate with a biology degree currently looking for full-time research work. In the meantime, I want to put my deep love for pets to work! As such, my schedule is very flexible at the moment. I am well versed in hanging out with dogs and cats. I have lived with both, cared for both, and love to hang out (and cuddle if they like!), play inside, or take long walks with them.
“Alex was great! I booked this somewhat last minute and she was willing and available to come meet my dog beforehand. She sent lots of pictures and videos during her drop ins and had very detailed information about the drop in itself. Would definitely book her again.”
About: I’ve been taking care of my own dog as well as family and friends dogs for about 10 years. I am able to take long walks, feed, and entertain in general. I consider myself very trustworthy as I’ve had a dog my whole life. I recently just graduated college and am back home in Langhorne so I am free on weekdays any time after 12 pm. I can walk around for some good exercise for the dog or just play in the yard. I live in a great area for nice long walks. If I’m staying at a clients home, I provide lots of cuddles inside as well as fun play time outside.
About: Who said dogs were the only pets that know how to do tricks? My cat’s (strong) drive for food has helped me in teaching her how to sit, and put up with all of the love I give her. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each cat’s unique personality, even the aloof fur babies. Whether they’re playful and outgoing or shy and independent, I take the time to let them warm up at their own pace.🩵🐈⬛ Watching my boyfriend’s high-energy Rottweiler/Bully mix has given me hands-on experience with a dog that keeps myself, and everyone within a mile radius on their toes! Through a strong amount of patience and unwavering consistency (even with all of his cuteness), I’ve taught him ways to help him develop better manners and impulse control. I’ve learned how to channel his energy into learning new tricks. I’ve become confident in finding ways to help even the most energetic dogs settle down and relax. 💕🐶 I work part time during the week as a support staff for adults with autism. I am available every Monday and Wednesday after 4pm, Tuesdays after 1pm, and Thursdays after 2pm. 😊 I ensure all tiny items a puppy or teething dog can choke on are put away. Leashing before walking outside is a must, even with the most well behaved animals. Double checking that the doors are closed is essential, and will never feed your pet food/treats that have not been approved by you.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Hyllwynd
Margaret always does a great job when she watches our kitties and we appreciate her so much! Both cats seem well-adjusted and calm in the report card photos (which we love seeing while on vacation!) and when we get home, so I know she has a gentle approach to their daily care that they seem to feel comfortable with.

Annie is truly the best. We exclusively book her for all 3 of our cats when we’re away and we never doubt for a second that they’re in good hands. She’s always on time, professional and always pays great attention to detail - especially recently when we had to make some diet changes and one of our cats had an injury, which meant a few changes in play and routine. Nevermind how great she is with us; all 3 of our cats adore her - and that’s saying a lot given they’re pretty slow to warm up with just about everyone else. Annie gives them plenty of play, pets/cuddles and meets them where they are depending on what their mood is. I highly recommend her.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hyllwynd. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
