I grew up with dogs and have often helped care for my parents’ and sister’s dogs, so I know how important it is to have someone dependable who treats your dog like part of the family. I work from home in health IT consulting, which allows me to be present during the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and general companionship. I only take one client at a time, so your dog will get plenty of individual attention and will not be in a crowded boarding environment. I live in a quiet, owner-occupied apartment in West Chester with no children and no other pets. My home is best for small or mid-sized dogs who are comfortable in an apartment setting. While I do not have a fenced yard, I take dogs out for supervised leash walks, and the neighborhood has grassy areas and light local traffic. I’m happy to provide daily exercise, potty breaks every 2–4 hours, and oral medication administration if needed. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and bed if that is what they are used to at home. For safety and comfort, I always like to do a meet and greet before confirming a stay to make sure it is a good fit for your dog, your expectations, and my home environment. I can also provide recommendations/references from people whose dogs I have cared for. I currently accept dogs over 1 year old, crate-trained dogs only, and no females in heat. I’m especially a good fit for dogs who do well in a quieter home and enjoy walks, attention, and a predictable routine. Overnight boarding is based on Rover’s 24-hour booking period. Before confirming a stay, I always prefer to do a meet and greet to make sure your dog is comfortable with me, my home, and the overall environment. I want both the owner and the dog to feel confident that it is a good fit. During a stay, I follow the owner’s care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication needs, crate routines, walking preferences, and any behavioral or comfort needs. I provide regular potty breaks every 2–4 hours, supervised leashed walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Since I work from home, I am usually able to give dogs attention and supervision during the day. Dogs are welcome on furniture and the bed if that matches their routine at home.
