About: As long as I can remember I've been an animal lover. I grew up riding horses, working on farms, + living with no less than 3 dogs at a time in my house. As a kid I dreamed of being a veterinarian. I took in all sorts of animals that needed to be nursed back to health from birds + snakes to donkeys + kittens. It was a little like living in a zoo + I loved every second! I rode + trained horses competitively in high school. At 16, I qualified for the junior Olympic team in equestrian eventing. I’m now a mom, my own son is 16, and I own my own photography business capturing families + pets spreading joy + gratitude. Rover is a welcome addition to that career. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
