“Laura helped us out at the last minute and did a great job with our dog. Our dog doesn’t always feel comfortable with people right away but he gravitated to Laura’s warmth and friendliness!”

“Caroline was AMAZING. She went above and beyond to contact me throughout her visits and make sure Zeke was comfortable. She was also very flexible with the hours we needed. Will definitely be booking again!”

“Chen has been a blessing! I was looking for a reliable dog walker for a while. Chen is great with my two large labradoodles who have a tendency to pull from time to time. She is always punctual and communicative when the schedule needs to change. I appreciate that she always sends pictures and updates of how the pups are doing and keeps me posted of their shenanigans like when they got into their wet food the other day. She even cleaned it up and put the food away for me. If you are looking for someone to take care of your pups I highly recommend Chen! She is great!”

“Our puppy LOVES Dante! He does such a fantastic job at communicating and sends the best pictures while on the walks. We highly recommend Dante to anyone who wants their pet to be loved and cared for as if they were Dante’s own ☺️”

“Carol is wonderful with my puppy , Winter. Each time she goes to walk her she sends pics and a detailed paragraph as to what Winter did . I truly appreciate all the care and love she gives her !”

About: I grew up having pets since I was born, including dogs, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs and others. My daughters and I have taken care of our neighbors and friends dogs, and we have experience interacting with cats from my brothers and friends. We have only guinea pigs now, but my daughters are longing for any dog-sitting especially, so we have plenty of space, love and affection to spare, if needed. I am a teacher with my summers off. My daughters are in camps periodically, but we are largely staying local throughout the rest of the summer, and I have a number of house projects that will keep me based at home for most days. I have a pet-friendly townhouse community that I live in. Safe, slow-moving cars, dog-walking areas with doggie bag stations, coupled with open grassy areas, and conveniently located near several close-by parks and even a dog park 10 minutes way. Other dogs are leashed in the community. If needed, your dog can be kept in our finished basement, with plenty of space to move around. In your home, if you prefer to have the dog walked nearby and/or caged at night, that will not be a problem.
“When I was injured and unable to walk my dog, Luna, Matthew was an absolute lifesaver. He showed up every single day; rain or shine; right on time, without fail. His reliability and dedication gave me such peace of mind during a challenging time. Not only was he dependable, but Luna absolutely adores him. It’s clear he genuinely cares about the dogs he walks. Matthew’s consistency, kindness, and professionalism have been an essential part of both my recovery and Luna’s happiness. I can’t recommend him enough to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring dog walker.”

“We accidentally left the door locked, and Angela kindly waited for us to call her with the code. She even made a return trip for us once we finally were able to get the door unlocked, I would highly recommend her. She is a faithful and determined pet sitter.”

About: My name is Eleanor. In the last year we recently lost our own senior dogs who were 17, 16 and 15. We fostered and subsequently adopted a corgi puppy who we nursed through a PDA heart surgery. He is a happy, healthy pup and LOVES being with other dogs. I am also the mom of five children who are 13, 12, 9 and 5 year old twins. I have provided pet care services for many years but started back up after the addition of our twins :) My husband works from home which allows me to come help you with your furry friend! I am on the board of a senior dog rescue called Senior Dog Haven and Hospice and ran it for 10+ years until I recently passed on the reins. We rescue dogs aged 7 and up that have found themselves homeless later in life. I love animals, especially elderly ones, and have dedicated my life to their care. I have fostered almost 100 senior dogs in the last 10 years and have a ton of experience with special needs dogs. I would love to come love on your dog and spoil them anytime you need me! We require your furry friend to be kid and dog friendly as they will get lots of love from our pack of children and our puppy, Gus Gus! I am a stay at home mom with a husband that works from home. Our schedule is extremely flexible and someone is almost always home. I have a one acre fenced in yard that has a small dog and large dog fenced in area. I love animals and will always take the very best care of them! We often host doggy day care days to tire out pups! We take caring for your furry loved ones seriously, and carry our own insurance coverage for your added peace of mind!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and truly love being around them. I’ve walked and cared for neighbors’ dogs for years and even volunteered at the SPCA throughout middle and high school, where I got experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I’m calm, patient, and attentive—especially with puppies who need a little extra guidance and senior dogs who need extra care. I treat every dog like they’re my own and always prioritize their comfort and happiness. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! From toy poodles to american bulldogs, my love for them has no boundaries. Between being a cat mom, dog sister, and animal shelter volunteer, I have years of experience in pet care. I love to be active with pets whether that means going on a walk or playing with toys; They need to get their energy out somehow! I also love to snuggle up with our older friends who may need to take it easy. Regardless, your fur babies are my sole focus if they’re in my care! I currently am self employed and my schedule is extremely flexible. I can be available mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends. Spending time with animals is the best way to spend time! About: I have taken care of cats and dogs of all ages since I was 18 years old! I’m a cat owner of 4 years myself as well, and my kitty is my very best friend. As far as sitting, I have done mostly done overnight stays, but I have done pop ins and walking as well. I’ve sat for small dogs and large, puppies, kittens and elderly pups. I absolutely love spending time around and caring for animals. I do work part time, usually averaging about 5 shifts a week. I make my own schedule biweekly, and my shifts are generally no more than 5-6 hours, so my hours are extremely flexible depending on when I’m needed! I am all for play, walking, and unlimited pets when I dog/cat sit. I will pay careful attention when it comes to letting them out if there is a fenced yard, as well as to their collar and leash prior to taking them out on walks. A pet owners directions are very important to me as far as feeding/potty/medication times, and I take the responsibility of caring for any animal very seriously.

Lima dog parents share their Rover experiences
We used Kate to walk our dog because my husband had knee replacement and I was working. This is my first experience using a dog walker. I was really nervous about it. Kate put my fears to rest. She was in communication about my dogs wants and needs when walking. She sent a report of where they went and what my dog did( pooping, rolling in the snow etc…) and a photo. I couldn’t be happier. I trust Kate implicitly and will use her again.
