“This is about the 4th time that Kate has taken care of my precious mini Schnauzer. This was a 10 day visit. My Schnauzer is so warm and loving but she can be shy. She is very cooperative and loves Kate. She had not seen Kate for over 5 months and when we drove up, she gave a howl of recognition and delight. Needless to say, my dog pulled me into the house. We had a vacation and so did my dog. Kate is genuinely kind and caring. She sends me photos daily and does not hesitate to ask a question. However, Kate knows my dog so well (and dogs in general) and always has her best interest at heart. I know that my dog had a wonderful time with Kate. If you need a dog sitter in the Media area or for that matter, I suggest driving to have Kate take care of your precious dog. I knew Kate before I knew she was on Rover. My experience includes walking, feeding, administering lots of love, and opening my home for safe and comfortable stays. I work part-time Monday through Thursday, so I can provide care in the mornings and evenings, with a few hours away mid-day for work. About: I have been in the animal care business my whole life! My mom used to run her own animal care business where I would go on all of her animal visits since I was in kindergarten. I trained my two puppies at age 10, have been volunteering at the local animal shelter for 3 years, and have started my own small clientele of dogs whom I care for through overnight stays for over a week, 3 check-ins a day for each dog, and lots of time for playing and cuddling to make sure they are happy and comfortable, while building their trust. I understand patience is key when caring for animals who see me as a new, unfamiliar face, and I always ensure the animals comfort is my top priority! My main gig at the moment is animal care, so I can build my own schedule/routine around the animal care bookings that I have for that week, so your pet will be my priority! In my clients homes, I make sure that the essentials like food and water are given, and I will make sure that there is nothing out that could harm them. My main focus is walking the dog in the start of my visit, and playing and winding down for rest time at the end, so they are able to rest and relax when I am not there/until their next visit. For cats, I would feed and refill their water, play with them, and provide affection depending on their personality and how comfortable they are. I will also clean out their litter.
About: I was trained for two years at age seven to care of my mom’s 18 breed collies at Tandy Kennel. I took over at age nine and took over for her till I was 19. I also learned how to take care of her 11 cats we rescued. I also took care of our alpacas, rabbit, chinchillas, and people dogs and bourses when they went away on vacation. When I moved I took in two kittens that need a home and their names are Sakura and Sasuke. My days are pretty flexible and I don’t mind working out a schedule with you. For my cats I clean their littler daily, play with them I wipe them with a safe cat cloth to clean them, I brush them, and I clip their nails. We had a vacation and so did my dog. Kate is genuinely kind and caring. She sends me photos daily and does not hesitate to ask a question. However, Kate knows my dog so well (and dogs in general) and always has her best interest at heart. I know that my dog had a wonderful time with Kate. If you need a dog sitter in the Media area or for that matter, I suggest driving to have Kate take care of your precious dog. I knew Kate before I knew she was on Rover. When, she told me, I jumped at the chance for my dog to stay with her. I cannot stress enough how professional, caring, communicative and loving Kate is with my dog. I had a great vacation and so did my Schnauzer! You do not need to search, Kate is the best!!”
“This was the first time I left My young Frenchie with anyone and I was very nervous. Aaron was interested in getting to know her before the trip and he was organized and communicative. When I picked her up she was comfortable there and she was fine! I will 100% leave her with Aaron again. Very thankful to find someone who cares a lot about taking care of her.”
