“Mallory was beyond amazing, both for my pets as well as my house, going above and beyond for us, particularly in a tricky time. I would certainly book with Mallory again in a heartbeat.”

“Thank you Marissa! Figgy was well cared for and were so thankful to be able to leave her at home instead of at a kennel. Marissa left the house spotless and was extremely flexible when our plans changed.”

“Amanda was so wonderful with our babies! She was communicative and send check ins with photos. Our house was immaculate upon return and she had even washed the sheets and made the bed, which was so thoughtful. We love having the peace of mind knowing that Amanda took such great care of our pets. We highly recommend her and would definitely use her again.”
“Oli helped us out on really short notice and took fantastic care of our pup. It was such a relief to know our girl was getting love and attention while we were away. Thank you, Oli!”

“Rebecca was great! She arrived on time, sent videos and pictures and took great care of our house even washing dishes and stripping the bed. Our pup seemed well taken care of when we returned.”

“Emily was the perfect dog and house sitter! She was generous in her updates to let us know how everything was going, and Page clearly loved the time he spent with her!”

“Sidney was so gentle and loving to our shy kitty! Bambino took to her immediately and when we came home, he was a happy clam as if we hadn’t even been away! We would 100% recommend her and will be booking her again for our future getaways 🥰. Thank you so much, Sidney!”

“Victor did great sitting for Ellie, kept her company all day, listened to her needs, gave her food and her medicine. Would absolutely book him again in the future!”

“Erica took great care of our pups and home while we were away. She gave extra special care for our low mobility elderly pug who requires daily pills/eyedrops. She was punctual and gave regular updates as well. Highly recommended, thank you!”

“Collette recently cared for my three dogs and treated them as if they were her own. It was my first time having someone outside of family watch my fur babies, and she made the experience incredibly reassuring. Collette kept me updated frequently with photos and messages, always making sure I knew they were in loving hands. She stayed overnights at my home and left everything exactly as it was when I departed—clean, organized, and well cared for. If you're looking for a pet sitter who is attentive, compassionate, and highly responsible, I wholeheartedly recommend Collette. She’s truly an amazing choice, and I would confidently trust her again.”

“McKenzie was amazing with our crew. Including keeping us up to date on one of our pups who has a medical issue that requires multiple medications and feeding times. It’s especially hard to leave a pet that isn’t feeling well by McKenzie did a great job. My little dog, who is a bit standoff-ish, let her pet her with a few minutes of meeting her. We hope to use her again!”

“We had a great experience with Kaleb. He took excellent care of both our dog and cat, sending regular updates and pictures so we felt at ease while away. He left our home in the same good condition he found it, and most importantly, our pets were happy and well cared for. He’s trustworthy and reliable, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a responsible sitter.”

“Mark did a great job taking care of my cats. He accepted my last minute request and then kindly adapted to the changes I made after he started. He sent me daily updates and photos, and even swept up the cat litter on the mat around the litter box on his last visit. I definitely plan on becoming a repeat client.”

About: My family has had dogs since I was born, and I got my own 9 years ago when he was a puppy. I’ve raised him on my own, cared for my parents’ dogs when they’re out of town, and looked after my friends’ pets. I currently have a very flexible work schedule and can accommodate most days and times for pet care as needed. Comfortable walking dogs in any time of day and any season! I’ve lived with dogs my entire life and am comfortable with any breed or size. I’ve had senior dogs before, and raised my own dog since he was a puppy, so I’m comfortable with any age range too!
“Amelia took really great care of our two dogs with a last minute booking. She was communicative and made sure to send pictures. She left the house just as we had left it. Would definitely recommend her and book with her again!”

“Our dog loves Elizabeth and is sad for her to leave when we get home. Elizabeth is so kind and sweet with our dog and I highly recommend her services.”

University Of Richmond pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah was wonderful!!! We had complete peace of mind while we were on vacation for a week. She sent several updates in a day and sent lots of pictures. We came home to very happy furs. She was also very flexible when we needed to stay an extra night. We would recommend her to anyone!

Julia was fantastic! Mogs and Amy were so comfortable with her. I think they are actually still looking for her ☺️ I am so glad she was available and understood the dogs story. I would highly recommend Julia and hope I can book her services again in the future.

Upon meeting Charly, I quickly felt confident that I had found a great sitter for our 2 border collies and our home who would not only take good care of them but also could handle the quirks that come with the breed and the quirks that come with a big old house. Boy, was I right. There was a huge thunderstorm while we were gone and the neighborhood lost power. When she was unable to reach me, Charly remained calm, spoke with a neighbor who finally reached me. (Poor reception where I was staying.) I talked Charly through our blackout protocol. She handled it while keeping the dogs calm in the storm. She is calm, confident and clear-headed. I hope to engage her again for our travels. Thanks Charly!!!
Sophie ("Zoe") was great. Very responsible and took great care of my dog Ghost. I would use her in a heartbeat. She kept me informed and kept my house clean and secure. She stayed for five nights and Ghost was obviously happy in the pictures she sent to me during her stay.

We have a larger pit mix and smaller 15 year old dog who gets very sad while we are gone and requires some extra care. Abigail took such great care of them and I didn’t worry a bit while we were gone. Abigail sent pics, communicated well and left the house tidy. She is awesome!

Jessica was a great sitter! She was responsive from the start and communicated with me throughout. She arrived exactly on time and was willing to do a meet and greet beforehand. My two pups are a lot to handle (mostly the puppy) but she didn’t seem phased and did what I asked with them. We would definitely use Jessica again. Thanks!
