“Amy and Kris couldn't have been nicer people. I used their services to watch my beagle for the day while I visited Richmond. Their home was easy on and off the highway making this place ideal for visits. Bitsy spent the day with a few other nice dogs, received some delicious homemade doggy treats and got lots of love and snuggles. Thanks, we will be back again. :)”

About: My husband and I have taken care of dogs our entire lives. While we have had large dogs breeds we specialize in small dogs. We both are able to provide medicine as necessary as we have experience with severely sick dogs. We currently have a 1 1/2 year old French Bulldog mix who loves everyone. He would especially love your dog to be his constant playmate! My husband and I currently work from home so we have plenty of time to dedicate to your fur baby. We will provide them with all the love and attention they desire. We have a fenced in 1/2 acre yard but no jumpers please. We do not have a privacy fence but your dog will be secured. If your dog prefers to be in a crate, we can accommodate.

“Caroline is very friendly and responsive. She immediately clicked with my mini poodle after their first meeting. She sends great pictures and video updates so you know how your baby is doing throughout the day. I would definitely recommend her for daycare.”

“I was so glad I was able to depend on AJ for his daycare support with Ace. He was very helpful, kept conversation and made my first time a great experience. I highly recommend you book with AJ. I look forward to booking with him very soon.”

“Kelli is awesome!! She has been on time every day, truly cares for my dog, keeps me up-to-date on how he’s doing, and is extremely reliable. We are moving across town, otherwise we would keep going with Kelli indefinitely!”

“Katie did an amazing job with our puppy Bear! She made him feel so welcome and safe and her sweet Louie is an angel - wore bear out! Katie was so easy to work with and gets an A++ for communication! Bear will definitely go back to Katie Camp!”

About: For most of my life, I have owned, loved, boarded, fostered, and/or cared for a broad range of animals, including dogs (small and large), cats (domesticated and feral), hamsters, rabbits, chickens, fish, one gerbil, one parrot, and a handful of reptiles. (I've also spent some time on farms learning husbandry.) From this comes experience with the full cycle of life with companion animals - birth, adolescence, training, advancements, setbacks, accidents, illness, aging, and loss. I'm no stranger to providing extra potty breaks for puppies (our interests are mutually aligned) or with giving daily medications. For the first time in many years, my home is without a pet of my own - let me dote on yours when you can't. I'm a retired(ish) attorney and veteran now working from home with plenty of time and attention to give to your fur babies. Regular walks and exercise are an important part of our routine. My property is ~ 2 acres, large portions of which are fenced but couldn't be properly described as secured. Your dog's temperament will determine whether it can roam / play / fetch unleashed, but in no event will dogs be outside unattended. Inside, I try to make my home as welcoming and comforting for your pets as I would hope would be done for mine - animals are allowed on the furniture and are invited to sleep where they please, unless you instruct otherwise.

About: I love animals and dogs tend to be loving towards me. I love hanging out with them. I have had dogs all my life and I miss hanging out with them. I always go on walks and runs and I would look forward to taking them with me! Right now I'm home most of the day and am able to care for animals all of the time I only work 3 days a week away and work from home Thursdays and Fridays so have plenty of time for the dogs. Also have a dog area nearby for them to play I allow dogs on the couches downstairs and allow them to play with my dog who is a small dog. Also I take them out often
