About: I have had at least one dog all of my life. Often times more than one. Currently living with just one Lab who would love a visitor/playmate. I foster emergency overnights on rescue transports. I have been a caregiver for dogs of all ages and kinds; puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with separation anxiety. I have grandcats I house sit for and have also taken care of chickens. I work from home with tons of flexibility. I have one adult child at home in graduate school, they have a health condition which keeps them home most days too, so your pet is never short of human companionship. I live in a great neighborhood for walks on a leash. I provide dog sitting in a one story home with a large, wooded fenced yard in central Richmond neighborhood. Great for dogs of all ages and abilities. I live with one Lab that's a large couch potato. He also likes his human to sit outside with him rather than be out there all by himself. So we spend lots of time outside together. Pets are permitted on furniture and the bed, whatever makes them feel at home. I do have a large dog crate that can be set up if needed, but only if requested as it will put your pet at ease. The most important factor is making sure your pet feels comfortable, keeping their routines and habits to lessen the stress of a new place.

About: I’ve been a pet owner for 10 years, and frequently pet sit for friends and family in my home. I would love to provide your dog with a safe, snuggly space while their people are away. As a dog and cat owner, most of my days revolve around pet care already! While I work in an office during the week, I’m a quick drive from home and have flexibility to run home for potty breaks and WFH as needed. I love nothing more than a cuddly weekend on the couch with my dog Tater and he always loves a friend. I have a fenced in yard, a very dog friendly dog, as well as two dog-savvy cats. I have a crate that can be assembled if needed for your pet. I couldn’t get my Velcro dog off the couch or bed if I tried, so my home is a great space for dogs who like to be extra close to their people.

About: I've been dog-walking and cat sitting since I was about 13-14 years old! I've cared for a range of dogs and cats, from young to old, and everything in between. I also have lots of experience with big dogs in particular. My family has had labs since I can remember, and I've cared for and walked two big dogs at the same time. I currently work from home, and usually have a pretty flexible schedule most days a week, so I'd be happy to fit your pet into my schedule! I do occasionally have a public involvement meeting that requires me to be elsewhere during the day, but happy to plan far in advance with you to make sure your pet's care needs are met. I provide a safe environment by making sure your pet is in a place they know best - their and your home. I find that pets who are in their own space are the most comfortable. I also have experience with needing to provide pills to cats, and can crate trained pups.

About: I have taken care of 16 dogs: 11 puppies, 3 inside dogs and 2 hunting dogs (which I turned into couch potatoes) all during the same time period. I have experience with senior dogs, I know they need some extra care and time so I am very patient with them. I found loving homes for 10 of the puppies, I of course had to keep one- his name was Elvis, my best friend for 12 wonderful years. I’m currently a stay at home mom. I’m available 7:45am - 12:30pm every other week. The other weeks my schedule is very flexible, 7am - 5pm. Monday - Friday. I currently do not offer care for pets in my home, recently moved so our home and fenced in yard is a work in progress! When caring for pets in your home please be sure to tell me about any specific needs your pet may require. I love going on walks so it’s a bonus if your dog does too! I have one adult child at home in graduate school, they have a health condition which keeps them home most days too, so your pet is never short of human companionship. I live in a great neighborhood for walks on a leash. I provide dog sitting in a one story home with a large, wooded fenced yard in central Richmond neighborhood. Great for dogs of all ages and abilities. I live with one Lab that's a large couch potato. He also likes his human to sit outside with him rather than be out there all by himself. So we spend lots of time outside together. Pets are permitted on furniture and the bed, whatever makes them feel at home. I do have a large dog crate that can be set up if needed, but only if requested as it will put your pet at ease. The most important factor is making sure your pet feels comfortable, keeping their routines and habits to lessen the stress of a new place.

About: I’ve been a pet owner for 10 years, and frequently pet sit for friends and family in my home. I would love to provide your dog with a safe, snuggly space while their people are away. As a dog and cat owner, most of my days revolve around pet care already! While I work in an office during the week, I’m a quick drive from home and have flexibility to run home for potty breaks and WFH as needed. I love nothing more than a cuddly weekend on the couch with my dog Tater and he always loves a friend. I have a fenced in yard, a very dog friendly dog, as well as two dog-savvy cats. I have a crate that can be assembled if needed for your pet. I couldn’t get my Velcro dog off the couch or bed if I tried, so my home is a great space for dogs who like to be extra close to their people.
“I was having a rough time finding a sitter in time for my trip and she was perfect for my dog. She sent lots of pictures and my dog got to spend time with other dogs all day and play. She seemed very happy and well taken care of. I definitely recommend her :)”
