She was extra caring communicating with us before we booked with her, sending her ETA when she came for a meet and greet when we were looking for a house and dog sitter. Kendall is the perfect house sitter as she is self employed and therefore can do a lot of work from home. She let us know exactly when she had outside commitments such as business meetings so we knew our pup would have plenty of company while we were gone. She also asked many questions to make sure she knew exactly what we were hoping for in terms of care. We received many updates and photos while we were gone and Kendall sounded like she generally enjoyed everything about taking care of our pup. Kendall left our home in spectacular condition. About: I grew up in a multi-cat household and now own 5 cats between my parents and myself! There's no kitty I can't handle - from super social, to shy, to very sassy, I'm known to be able to form a bond with every cat that comes into my care. I'm also a lover of all animals, I owned fish and lizards and have spent a lot of time helping walk and take care of my family's dogs. My animals are my life, and I've been on Rover for almost four years now! Whether your pup needs a mid-day energy-busting walk, a morning drop-in, or dedicated overnight company, my schedule is mostly open to fit seamlessly into whatever routine your pet needs to stay happy and comfortable. In My Home & Around the Yard: Since I have a moderately sized, fenced-in yard and my own Bernese Mountain Dog, safety at home is mostly about supervising the fun. I never just let the dogs out back and walk away; I’m always out there watching them play to make sure everyone is sharing toys and getting along safely. Before a new pup ever visits, we’ll do a casual Meet & Greet to make sure our dogs vibe well together. Indoors, I keep my home calm and secure, making sure doors are always locked and any human food or hazards are kept way out of reach. In Your Home & On Walks: If I’m coming to your place, I treat it exactly like I’d want someone to treat mine. I stick strictly to the routine you give me for feeding and care. When we head out for neighborhood walks, I always double-check harnesses and collars before opening the front door to make sure nothing can slip loose. I keep a short, secure grip on the leash and stay entirely focused on the dog—keeping an eye out for hot pavement, heavy traffic, or stray dogs so our walks stay completely stress-free.

About: I prefer to go by Cameron (he/him). Since I can remember I have been caring for dogs and cats of various breeds, ages, and abilities. When I was in middle school my mom became involved in The Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue and we brought home many dogs to foster and officially adopt. Throughout my childhood I cared for blind dogs, deaf dogs, and dogs that struggle with seizure disorders. Now that I'm all moved out I have a long haired four year old cat named Fester. I'm helping my roommate raise her kitten and coparenting Benny my partner's Boston Terrier from the SCBTR. I'm currently returning to the workforce after recovering from top surgery so my schedule is very open. While I don't have a car at the moment I do have a bike plus I live in a convenient place to catch the bus. I don't currently have any fall trips planned so I should be here in Richmond area for quite a while. I don't take pets home with me to care for them. I am more than happy to come to you or take your pets to park based on what you would prefer. I am happy to feed, play with, and walk your pet as well as administer any extra care they may need.
