About: My name is Nick and I am a teacher in Chesterfield county looking to use my love for animals as a way to make some extra money over the summer. I have had dogs and cats growing up my whole life and currently have a dog named Bagel and a cat named Friday. I also have lots of experience dog/cat sitting for friends and family over the years ever since I was in high-school. I am a teacher so I won’t be working during the summers so I will have unlimited time during the day/night to take care of your pets and their needs! Once the school year starts I can do weekends and afternoon/nights! I have a lot of energy myself so if your pets love to get exercise/play around I am very up for that. “Catherine was truly an angel, and I honestly don’t think we could have asked for a better sitter! She stayed with our two dogs for about a week while we were out of town, and during that time our air conditioning unexpectedly went out for two days. Instead of leaving or making it our problem, she handled everything with so much patience and grace, communicated with us throughout, and stayed with the dogs the entire time to make sure they were comfortable and cared for. She even coordinated with our landlord, who later told us she was the best house sitter/Rover he’d ever met - which says a lot! When we got home, our dogs were so happy, relaxed, and completely themselves. There was zero stress or adjustment period, and honestly, I don’t even think they missed us with Catherine around! 😂 She went so far above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect, and it’s obvious she genuinely loves the animals she cares for. About: I’ve lived with dogs as long as I can remember and have had a significant part in their care for about 10 years. The last 4 years I’ve been the primary caregiver for my pets. Since I was a teenager I’ve been the designated pet and house sitter for friends and family! I currently work full time but work from home two days per week. My mornings before work and evenings after work are dedicated to the pups. If necessary I am able to take a long lunch for some extra pup time. I have a fully fenced in yard where my friendly pups love to play and a puppy proofed home. Pets are welcome anywhere people are allowed, including furniture. My 2 dachshunds are super outgoing with other dogs and can keep up with big dogs! In a client’s home I will take into account any of the house rules of the pet parents.
