“I booked Christine for two nights of house sitting my dog and cat and she did a great job! She took the time to understand their routine and needs. Both my girls were instantly comfortable with her, she kept the house tidy, and she kept me updated throughout the day with pictures. I will be booking Christine again in the future and highly recommend her to look after your pets.”

“Chris is simply the best! You always want someone who will treat your pets with the same level of love and attention that you give them and he certainly delivers on that. He spent an entire day with our boy, on a holiday no less, while we were away on an important trip. He gave us detailed updates, sent us the most adorable pictures, and made us feel safe and comfortable with him handling both our beloved dog and our home. Chris is incredibly friendly, super understanding, and highly responsive. My husband kept saying "This guy is the real deal, he is really awesome" whenever Chris would send us updates. We will absolutely be having him back again and can't thank him enough for being himself and for being an excellent caretaker to our dog!”

She was amazing. The dogs had a ton of walks, all animals were well taken care of. Shari was also an excellent house sitter. I will absolutely be reaching out to Shari again for our future pet sitting needs. Thank you so much Shari!!”

About: Hello pet parent! 🐾 A bit about me - I had a family cat and dog for around 13 years total growing up. I helped feed, hydrate, walk, clean-up after, bathe, and play with both of them. I also assisted in taking them to the vet and giving them medication when necessary. Outside of my family pets, I have a summer’s worth of experience cat sitting for a family friend and a summer’s worth of experience volunteering for my hometown’s local humane society/animal shelter. Nowadays, the majority of my pet time is spent occasionally dog sitting for my brother and his wife. I’m comfortable with any size pet and am very active, so any pet energy-level works for me! I look forward to meeting you and your furry companions 😊 I am currently a full-time post-graduate student at the Cleveland Institute of Music. I have very flexible hours and I’m pretty available as of right now. I’m always happy to discuss how I can best accommodate your needs for pet care and pet sitting! I work best if clear instructions for pet care are provided before or upon arrival. I love all kinds of animals and I’m always gentle when meeting-and-greeting. If a pet has difficulty adjusting to new people, or general fears/anxieties, please let me know how I can best accommodate you and your pet’s needs.

Cassandra D.
“Cassie Dixon has been a caregiver for cats, dogs, and other household pets that belong to family, friends, and instructors. Many of these jobs were while the pet owners were away from home. Cassie has been providing these services (feeding, watering, playing with, walking, giving medications as needed, cleaning, brushing, etc.) since she was in elementary school. Cassie is a very loving, responsible, and trustworthy person and has a special affinity for all animals. She is very calm around household pets and highly empathetic to their needs - animals always seem comfortable with her. Cassie also worked as a volunteer in our local Humane Society during her high school years. I highly recommend that you hire Cassie as a caregiver for your pets because she will treat them with the utmost kindness and respect, and they will be happy and healthy in her care!”

University Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Our dogs loved Liz and took to her right away! She managed our dog and our ornery foster beautifully, and I could not even tell someone else had stayed in our house. She sent us updates twice a day to let us know how they were doing. Would absolutely book again!

We have two loud and energetic pups and Marti took great care of them while we were away. She provided excellent communication and updates. We also appreciate how responsive she was throughout the vetting and booking process. We will definitely use her in the future and recommend her to anyone.

I can’t say enough good things about Glenn. He went above and beyond in all aspects of his stay. He sat for our dog and two cats and they have some high maintenance needs. Glenn was a champ at giving an uncooperative cat her medicine. He was highly communicative, providing lots of updates with photos. Our house was spotless when we returned. He’s a wonderfully kind person on top of it. We will definitely have him back!

Devaney was great. She got along with the Bug and constantly was sending pictures of him and updates. The two weeks vacation was shortened by a week due to an unexpected medical emergency with the Bug. Devaney handled it like a true professional that she is and got him to the emergency pet hospital with no time wasted. She kept in contact with me and the medical staff through the duration until I could return from across the country. She was waiting for me late at night when I returned. She treated the Bug like he was her own. You can't ask for more. I would recommend her to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to use her again.

Becca was very responsive. She maintained clear lines of communication, alerted me to any concerns, however minor and provided outstanding care for my animals and bird. My puppy, who had never been away from me, and sleeps with me, was content and happy with Becca. She also took the initiative to put trash barrels out on trash night when she saw the need and she left the house tidier than when she came. I would definitely use her services again.
