This is the first time we have used a dog service for our dogs and wish we would have found Michael and Geoff sooner! The good thing about them is they walk our staffies alone unlike other dog walkers where they have a few dogs at a time. We are also going to use them for boarding too in the future as they have a secure garden with no other dogs which is perfect! Communication is great and they are flexible and reliable. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anyone!

About: Hello, my name is Lisa and my husband is Stuart. We live in Thornton in Lancashire. We have two grown up children, neither of which live at home and two school age grandchildren who visit who have been brought up with dogs so know how to be respectful of them. We have a lovely quiet household on a very quiet street with a safe fully enclosed garden. We have been married for over 30 years and have had dogs for most of this time. We do not have a dog currently as we lost our beloved Chihuahua in April 22 and our much loved Yorkshire Terrier in January 23. We consider ourselves to be experienced dog owners in both behavioural and health issues. I am animal first aid and animal CPR trained. During our Chihuahuas lifetime we dealt with luxating patella for which she had surgery, epilepsy and heart failure for which we had to administer and monitor medication, we also studied home dog behavioural courses to manage her extreme nervousness. This experience enabled us to become very dog knowledgeable and we educated ourselves to help us to understand all of their quirks and the reasons for certain behaviour. I have recently retired as a Nurse from the nhs which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now around most of the time each day to give them my full attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. Any dog in our care would never be left alone for any longer than 2-3 hours. We are an active couple in our spare time and we have a touring caravan which we originally bought to allow us to take our pets everywhere with us. We spend a lot of weekends in the Lake District and other lovely places and would be happy to take your dog with us for a little holiday. Your dog will be kept safe and taken to the Vet immediately should it be required. We are happy to administer medication. They will be groomed if required and I am happy to attend to their dental care. I have recently retired as a Nurse which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now at home much more giving your pets my undivided attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. A dog would never be left alone for any longer than 2-3 hours whilst in our care. We have a lovely quiet household on a very quiet street with a safe fully enclosed garden. We live in a semi-rural area with lots of lovely walks nearby.

Georgia was kind enough to come back after my wimpy scared of unfamiliar cars boy wouldn't get in her van! So she came back to ours and walked him on the field near our house and Odin came back a very happy and tired boy. Georgia is clearly an animal lover and has a special way with dogs, she was confident enough to walk Odin off lead which I'm happy about as that's what he's used to. I can't thank her enough for putting me at ease with the pictures and video as she's pet sitting Odin in our home in July for our wedding. Odin is looking forward to it I'm sure. Thankyou Georgia!

About: I have cared for dogs from a young age of 13 after having dogs when we were younger and then caring for family & friends dogs. I can take care of most sized dogs except the extra large breeds unfortunately due to not having much experience in handling these larger breeds. All females in heat will be kept separate from any male dog. I also have 2 female dogs my self. I have a large garden which the dogs can use and have access to all day, I live close to a large pathway which is great for dogs who require longer walks, while the dogs are in my care they will have 2 walks a day. I work from home so no dogs will be left unattended during there stay. They will have access to a large garden whenever they need to. I will care for pet as if they were my own and they will be walked twice a day while staying with us, they will have lots of toys & a safe garden to play in.

About: I had my own boxer dog micky for 11 years sadly I lost him. I know exactly how hard it can be to navigate life and make sure your giving your dog the best care possible! I was fortunate enough to have family members that would take car of my micky like their own. I think it's important to look after someone else's 4 legged friend exactly how they would want you to. I had my micky really well trained I used to receive comments all the time on how good we were together I spent alot of time training him we had a mutual respect which is important, I don't look at dogs as master and dog it's a bond that makes a dog want to behave well and admire you. I'm always working local so I can be anywhere i need to be in 10 minutes I have very flexible working times also being self employed that get even more flexible in the summer months. I care for your pet exactly as asked that's important to me safety is key as I'm being trusted with someone's pride and joy the love of someone's life so it's very important that every precaution is take to ensure a happy health pooch

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have a genuine connection to them. I adore being around animals of every type and have been trusted to look after neighbours and families pets since I was around 15 years old, this including walking, feeding and playing with their beloved pets. I currently work full-time Monday to Friday so I am fully available all weekend. I will be hopefully changing schedules soon which includes working from home so will be able to offer more flexible days. My pets at home live a wonderful life. I have an English Giant Rabbit called Bertie who free roams all day under the watchful eye of my mum, he likes to sunbathe, chew grass and play with his rugby ball. He also adores being stroked ( he thinks he’s a dog)! I also have a lovely little dog called Harper who spends her day with her best friend who is my mum! Harper also has the luxury of napping on the sofa all day and goes on around 2-3 walks a day, weather dependent.

About: Lee and I have both grown up in dog loving households, with a range of breeds. Lee grew up with his dad as an RSPCA officer who was always bringing home extra pups to love and care for. We have then had our own dog together who sadly passed away aged 14 and we now have our 2 year old Cockapoo, Stanley, who brings that extra bit of love to our home. We both hybrid work so there is always somebody around to care for your dog! We are excited to welcome your pup into our house and they’ll be looked after like one of our own! I currently work part - time school hours and on a term time only basis. We both work from home on alternate days so there is always somebody around. We have a fully secure garden with a locked gate. The dogs can access the garden at anytime via the back door. Inside the dogs can roam around and of course are allowed on the sofa for cuddles!

From the very start, Caley was incredibly reliable and punctual, always arriving on time and ready to give my cats the attention they deserved. She went above and beyond by spending lots of quality time with them, making sure they felt loved and entertained. The pictures and videos she sent during each visit were such a wonderful touch, giving me peace of mind knowing my cats were in great hands. One of the standout aspects of Caley’s care was her attention to cleanliness. She didn’t just scoop the litter box; she thoroughly cleaned the entire area around it, making my return home so much more pleasant. It’s the small details like this that really set her apart from other sitters I’ve tried. My cats absolutely adored her and it was clear they were comfortable and happy in their own home while still getting the personalised care they needed. It’s such a relief knowing they could stay in their familiar environment and still receive all the love, attention, and playtime they crave. I’ve been using Caley as my go-to pet sitter for years now, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after my cats. Her passion, reliability, and genuine love for animals make her the only person I would recommend for anyone in need of a truly dedicated and experienced pet sitter

About: Hi my name is Anton, I have been looking after dogs for a number of years and have recently joined Rover. I love animals and I even have my own dog Charlie who is a very friendly Cavapoo. The great thing is that I am very flexible due to my job being in Television Production so I usually very available. My hope is to offer affordable and friendly service whether that is walking or pet sitting. Please feel free to message me :) I I'm very flexible to meet your needs and can work around you. I drive and have dog seatbelts so can pick up your pet at no extra cost. Please feel free to message me so we can arrange. I have a pet gate and a large fenced off garden. I also live across from a local park which is great for walking dogs.

Emily is fantastic with our dog Rumba Super loving and caring and great and handling her even though she was stray and can be a handful! Rumba loves her time with Emily who gives her loads of cuddles and socialises her really well.

I really would recommend Francesca to look after anyone’s pet, she’s kind, loving and attentive to my cocker spaniel (Jumbo…he was a big puppy). She has looked after him many times, no request is too much, and Jumbo always misses her when she’s gone.

Amy took great care of our dog while we were away. They were professional, reliable, and clearly experienced with dogs. Our dog seemed happy and well-looked after when we returned. The regular updates were a nice touch and gave us confidence that everything was going smoothly. We'd definitely recommend Amy to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog carer."
