About: Hello, my name is Lisa and my husband is Stuart. We live in Thornton in Lancashire. We have two grown up children, neither of which live at home and two school age grandchildren who visit who have been brought up with dogs so know how to be respectful of them. We have a lovely quiet household on a very quiet street with a safe fully enclosed garden. We have been married for over 30 years and have had dogs for most of this time. We do not have a dog currently as we lost our beloved Chihuahua in April 22 and our much loved Yorkshire Terrier in January 23. We consider ourselves to be experienced dog owners in both behavioural and health issues. I am animal first aid and animal CPR trained. During our Chihuahuas lifetime we dealt with luxating patella for which she had surgery, epilepsy and heart failure for which we had to administer and monitor medication, we also studied home dog behavioural courses to manage her extreme nervousness. This experience enabled us to become very dog knowledgeable and we educated ourselves to help us to understand all of their quirks and the reasons for certain behaviour. I have recently retired as a Nurse from the nhs which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now around most of the time each day to give them my full attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. Any dog in our care would never be left alone for any longer than 2-3 hours. We are an active couple in our spare time and we have a touring caravan which we originally bought to allow us to take our pets everywhere with us. We spend a lot of weekends in the Lake District and other lovely places and would be happy to take your dog with us for a little holiday. Your dog will be kept safe and taken to the Vet immediately should it be required. We are happy to administer medication. They will be groomed if required and I am happy to attend to their dental care. I have recently retired as a Nurse which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now at home much more giving your pets my undivided attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. “Georgia was kind enough to come back after my wimpy scared of unfamiliar cars boy wouldn't get in her van! So she came back to ours and walked him on the field near our house and Odin came back a very happy and tired boy. Georgia is clearly an animal lover and has a special way with dogs, she was confident enough to walk Odin off lead which I'm happy about as that's what he's used to. About: I have looked after dog for the majority of my life being brought up around various dog breeds of various ages I have also done basic command training with young puppies being brought up around my grandad who was a dog trainer, I have also been under the careful watch of administering different medicines to senior dogs, having dogs is my passion and whilst the dogs are in my care they will be treated with love and care. Working from home means I’m available to follow my passion too care for dogs, this also means they can get the love they crave whilst letting them out as frequently as they need to go to the toilet I have a very secure garden I let the dogs have roam of unless they need to be supervised, They will be spoilt with love and affection with a range of toys readily available for the dogs to choose from as and when they please, I am also very flexible with walks throughout the day weather it’s just one short walk for the elderly or younger dogs or 3 long walks for the more active dogs

About: I have cared for dogs from a young age of 13 after having dogs when we were younger and then caring for family & friends dogs. I can take care of most sized dogs except the extra large breeds unfortunately due to not having much experience in handling these larger breeds. All females in heat will be kept separate from any male dog. I also have 2 female dogs my self. I have a large garden which the dogs can use and have access to all day, I live close to a large pathway which is great for dogs who require longer walks, while the dogs are in my care they will have 2 walks a day. I work from home so no dogs will be left unattended during there stay. They will have access to a large garden whenever they need to. I will care for pet as if they were my own and they will be walked twice a day while staying with us, they will have lots of toys & a safe garden to play in.

About: I had my own boxer dog micky for 11 years sadly I lost him. I know exactly how hard it can be to navigate life and make sure your giving your dog the best care possible! I was fortunate enough to have family members that would take car of my micky like their own. I think it's important to look after someone else's 4 legged friend exactly how they would want you to. I had my micky really well trained I used to receive comments all the time on how good we were together I spent alot of time training him we had a mutual respect which is important, I don't look at dogs as master and dog it's a bond that makes a dog want to behave well and admire you. I'm always working local so I can be anywhere i need to be in 10 minutes I have very flexible working times also being self employed that get even more flexible in the summer months. About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have a genuine connection to them. I adore being around animals of every type and have been trusted to look after neighbours and families pets since I was around 15 years old, this including walking, feeding and playing with their beloved pets. I currently work full-time Monday to Friday so I am fully available all weekend. I will be hopefully changing schedules soon which includes working from home so will be able to offer more flexible days. My pets at home live a wonderful life. I have an English Giant Rabbit called Bertie who free roams all day under the watchful eye of my mum, he likes to sunbathe, chew grass and play with his rugby ball. He also adores being stroked ( he thinks he’s a dog)! I also have a lovely little dog called Harper who spends her day with her best friend who is my mum! Harper also has the luxury of napping on the sofa all day and goes on around 2-3 walks a day, weather dependent.

About: Lee and I have both grown up in dog loving households, with a range of breeds. Lee grew up with his dad as an RSPCA officer who was always bringing home extra pups to love and care for. We have then had our own dog together who sadly passed away aged 14 and we now have our 2 year old Cockapoo, Stanley, who brings that extra bit of love to our home. We both hybrid work so there is always somebody around to care for your dog! We are excited to welcome your pup into our house and they’ll be looked after like one of our own! I currently work part - time school hours and on a term time only basis. We both work from home on alternate days so there is always somebody around. We have a fully secure garden with a locked gate. The dogs can access the garden at anytime via the back door. Inside the dogs can roam around and of course are allowed on the sofa for cuddles!
