“Ailsa looked after Lucy on really short notice. She came to do a meet and greet on an extremely quick timescale and looked after our dog for us a couple of days later. Our dog can be a handful and has very particular needs and Ailsa really understood what we needed and what our dog needed too. She really put us at ease and did a fantastic job. We came home to a very chilled out and tired dog who seemed to have had a great time. She kept us updated and sent photos too, which was very reassuring for us as this is the first time we have left her with anyone that isn’t family. Will definitely be using again and I would highly recommend.”

About: I have had cats from a very early age I've recently had a dog for 3 years and helped to train him from being a pup he was a cockapoo and very much loved unfortunately due to splitting up from my partner I no longer have him. I love all pets as my own and they are definitely made to be part of the family. I have a 16 Yr old boy who to loves animals. I love walking we have lovely parks close by. My son will not be walking or looking after just me. I work from home whilst my son is at school so always with the animals when needed I have breaks for walks and plenty cuddles. About: I can look after or care for your dog when you are at work. I used to have a couple of Jack Russells and some years ago a couple of border collies. All from puppies. I work from home now and live by myself and would love some company. I have a garden. My son has a dog Luna, Pixie is my twin sister’s dog and Tomaquet & Moocher were my Jack Russells. I am flexible on days as I am home every day including evenings and weekends. Able to take out for walks. I have a fenced garden. Happy to have 2 dogs from the same family. Also doggy day care is available. I have a Chi-Poo (Chihuahua mixed with a toy poodle). I started to use Rover myself as a customer last year as occasionally I have to go to Nottingham for a day with work, but started to care for other people's dogs earlier this year. I am getting really booked up so if you could confirm your booking as soon as you are able to after the meet and greet so that I can guarantee the booking for your doggie woggie that would be great. I like to arrange a meet and greet first though anyway and do that at my house in Woodsmoor so that your pooch can get used to a new environment and feel more familiar. I have looked after a variety of dogs including rescue dogs who need socialising with other dogs, taller dogs who can open door handles, greedy dogs who need to be given only the right amount of food so I have to watch that they don’t pinch other dogs food, down to the real, cheeky, sweet ones who are mischievous but you can’t help loving them as they are furiously wagging their tail 😂😂😂 I have looked after puppies, dogs with attitudes and the ones who like do things on their terms but I know what I can handle with boundaries. If I or Minnie are not happy with a dog I will say so but to be honest this has only happened a couple of times. I need to know your furbaby will be comfortable too xx I work from home so can care for dogs in my house. I don’t put my dog in kennels as she is not an outside kennel dog. Minnie shares the bed with me and I am happy for your special pooch to do the same. However if your dog is crate trained I can also accommodate that. I live near Mirlees fields, but also like going to Cale Green Park, Bramhall Park, Bruntwood Park and Vernon Park. I have a fenced in garden and always take dogs out on a lead. I love looking after dogs in my own house. My dog likes running around the garden. I have loads of fields nearby so if your dog is ok off the lead they can have a run around. I use dog seats in my car when travelling to ensure that all the doggies are kept safe!

About: Hi my name is Maddie I’ve been around different animals and had many pets growing up. I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Over the years, I’ve gained hands on experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities, from playful puppies and kittens to gentle senior dogs and cats who need a little extra support. My first job was working in a local cat rescue and cattery so I gained a lot of experience there and that really helped develop my love of looking after and caring for animals. About: In our home, dogs are the babies of the family! They are always cared for every need they may have, whether it’s a nice long walk or cuddles on the sofa. Myself and partner Rick, welcome any breed of any size and age. We have previous experience with our late pet Akita, Winnie. We rescued Winnie in her older years, going from big long walkies and zoomies, to her slower pace of life. With this we have experience with a strong dog on lead, and any health issue your pet may have/ need a little help with (Winnie was incontinent in later life). We are happy to cater to any need/ guidance you have for your pooch, they will be welcomed with open arms and lots of dog treats! Currently work Monday to Friday full time. We can cater for weekend dog sitting, walks, drop ins, and any other need. We are happy to take dogs on long walks or even to dog play fields. If dog sitting for your pet we would allow them to explore the home so that they are comfortable in their new surroundings. We allow them to roam freely all around the house when we are home, or if we nipped to the shop they would have free rein of the large spacious kitchen/ diner that would have access to food/ water/ bed/ toys. All pets are allowed on the sofas/ bed as they are part of the family! For anything like walks or drop ins to your home we would treat your home with great respect and care, making sure your pooch has enough food/ water and any other comforts it may need.

Since losing our much-loved family dog last year, I’ve really missed the companionship and joy they bring. I'm calm, kind, and confident handling all sorts of behaviours—nothing surprises me! I’d love to give other dogs the same love, attention, and care I gave my own. I work Monday to Friday, 9:30–5:30, but I work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays — so I’ve got plenty of flexibility to do drop-ins or have your pet stay with me. I’m happy to work around your needs and routine! I’m also free most weekday evenings, and I can often accommodate weekends, overnight stays, and even longer holiday stays. I have a secure garden for the dogs to use as well as a different walking routes nearby. As well as a car to come and collect/drop off if needed. I always take the time to understand each animal’s routine, preferences, and any specific needs. Whether we’re out on a walk or relaxing at home, I keep a close eye on their behaviour and surroundings, making sure they feel comfortable and secure. I’ll never let a dog off-lead unless I have full permission and trust, and I provide regular updates so you know they’re in safe, caring hands.

About: I have taken care of family and friends dogs for around 10 years. I love animals and currently have 2 kitties myself called Simba and Jasmine. I have looked after my friends dog since he was a puppy, walking him and taking him out for the day, as well as popping in to feed and sit with him when needed. I have also been walking local neighbours dogs for a few years when needed. I also volunteer at a local charity walking dogs and cleaning the cattery so have lots of experience with different types of dogs and cats. I currently work full time but I work from home with a flexible schedule so can be regularly available to walk or check in on your doggies or pop in and see your cat. I am happy to accommodate your pets needs so please do discuss this with me. The only day I work from the office is Thursdays but my office is dog friendly so I am more than happy to discuss the possibility of taking your dog into the office with me for the day if you needed. I am also happy to do an evening walk/check in to care for your pup or cat which can also include a feed if needed. I am available on Saturdays and Sundays for longer walks and/or sitting services for both dogs and cats. I am happy to discuss all details of care needed with you :) I am very cautious when it comes to other peoples pets. I have 2 indoor cats of my own and they are indoor due to medical reasons so I am very caring and careful when it comes to animals needs. I won’t let your dog off the lead unless you are comfortable.
