About: Hello, my names Linda and I am huge animal lover! I have owned dogs for the last 16 years, and looked after them from puppies through to elderly, including rescue dogs and can provide care to senior dogs. I’ve recently lost 2 of my dogs which I’m heartbroken about and it’s the first time I haven’t had a pet in the house in 20 years. Before I decide to get another dog I have decided to look after other people’s pet which is the next best thing. My schedule is pretty flexible, I am currently working mostly remotely. Please drop me a message and I will be able to confirm my availability. I have a fenced garden and live near lots of lovely big parks where I can dog walk. I will be the perfect dog sitter as I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Please feel free to ask me any questions you have.

With my own dog and cat, I understand the importance of a safe, clean, and calm setting where pets feel secure and at ease.

“Sian has been the absolute best with my little girl. My pup is usually super shy and scared around people — it takes her ages to trust anyone. But with Sian? Something just clicked. She’s been so calm, so kind, and so incredibly patient. Never pushed, never rushed — just pure good vibes. And now? My dog actually runs to see her. That’s HUGE. Sian’s also the kind of person who sends you sweet updates and adorable pics that make your whole day better. You can just feel the love she has for animals it’s real, and it shows in every little thing she does. Thank you for everything, Sian. You’ve made such a difference, and I’m forever grateful. 🐶💛”

About: I have owned a dog since the age of 11. Training, loving & adventuring with them has given me some of my best memories. I've had 3 dogs in total over the last 18 years. One rescue called Floyd, a cross between a beagle and jack Russel and now have 2 Cockerpoos, Fergie & Flossie. I am currently completing a diploma in dog grooming and a pet first aid course. I am mad about dogs and believe the deserve the best care and love, so know they would be in safe hands. I also love taking photos of my dogs, so prepare for dog spam while you're away!! 📸 I work full time Monday to Friday so my availability is only over weekends currently. Every weekend I take my 2 cockapoos for long walks in new places. We love beach, woodland and river walks. Stick chasing till their hearts content ❤️ We live in a quiet cul de sac of 6 houses, away from a main road. Our house backs onto 3 large fields, with a lovely long walk down a country lane. A fenced rear garden with grass and plenty of space to roam. I will do everything to make your beloved dog feel relaxed and happy while you are away. Just let me know any of their quirks and needs to help make them feel super comfortable. They will get plenty of cuddles and attention when they stay with me ❤️

About: Growing up I’ve had the joy of sharing my home with a variety of breeds, from the protective and loyal German Shepherds to the spirited and energetic Jack Russell. Each dog has brought its own personality and quirks, teaching me valuable lessons about companionship, trust, and responsibility. Currently, I live with our beloved 7-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback, a breed known for its strength, intelligence, and loyalty. Until recently, we had two Ridgebacks, but we had to say a heartbreaking goodbye to Ruby, our adored 11-year-old. For several years, I took a more structured approach to dog care by engaging in formal training at a local dog training school which is conveniently located near our home. This experience deepened my understanding of canine behaviour and allowed me to bond with my dogs in new and exciting ways. We focused on whistle recall, an essential skill that I find incredibly useful for keeping control and ensuring my dogs’ safety, especially in more open or distracting environments. Prey dummies were also a big part of our training, allowing the dogs to tap into their natural instincts in a controlled, stimulating way. Whether it was teaching them to walk to heel, guiding them through agility courses, or engaging in scent work and searches, these activities weren’t just about discipline—they were about making sure my dogs were mentally stimulated, giving them the chance to use their brains as much as their bodies. The joy I saw in my dogs when they were engaged in these tasks was priceless. It wasn't just about physical exercise, but mental stimulation One of the things I’ve learned over the years is the importance of being a responsible dog owner, especially when out in public spaces. I respect the unspoken code of dog walking—being mindful of other dogs, particularly those who might be anxious or overly excitable. It's essential to create a comfortable distance between dogs, allowing them their space without causing unnecessary stress or confrontation. When I'm out walking with my dog, I’m fully engaged. For me, it's not just about letting them run off energy; it's an opportunity to work them, keeping their minds active as well as their bodies. Whether we’re practicing commands, reinforcing training, or just interacting through games, I make sure that our walks are a time for both physical and mental enrichment. I work part time from home where I live with my husband and two teenaged children who are often found cuddling up in the dog beds. I walk my dog each day and mix the walks up so rarely are they on the same walk 2 days running. I have a big car boot (not precious about the car) and your dog will be welcome to join me on the school runs. My office is in our very large kitchen and backs onto our garden. Dogs are welcome in all rooms of the house and can often be found curled up in front of our inglenook wood burner. During warmer days we open the bifold doors onto the garden brining the outside in or is it the inside out!? We have a good size garden that is securely fenced. Several lovely dog walking fields around and walks where it's quite and I can see way ahead for other dogs should you hound be nervous of others. Kitchen is large and has plenty of space should you wish to crate your dog and several dog beds scattered around the house and rugs for them to lie and find a cosy spot to chill. I have a large crate available for use that can be covered and made into their own den/safe place, Kongs both big and small to keep our dogs entertained. Hose right outside the back door (warm buckets of water supplied for the more precious ones like my own!), happily groom and brush their teeth.

About: I have experience walking dogs of many different breeds and sizes. I am passionate about caring for pets, I am dog first aid and CPR trained so I can assure your pet will be in safe loving hands 🐶 I currently work from home full-time making my schedule fully flexible to visit to play, feed and have fun your furry friends when you are unavailable. I love getting my daily steps in and I can ensure your pet does too! I will keep you updated on your pets welfare during my visit. I am dog first aid and CPR trained so I will be able to care for your pet in a time of need.

“So grateful to have met Louise! Not only is she sweet and friendly but she clearly loves dogs and took to our puppy Lloyd instantly. He seemed to really enjoy his walk and I think he’s going to love his stay with her too.”

About: I have worked at Jollyes pet store for 1 year 5 months which has gave an in depth knowledge of pet feeding, pet needs and other advanced technicalities that comes with owning a pet! I also hold a level 3 pet first aid certificate. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of time to help with your furry friend. I have plenty of time to do toilet breaks and walks even around my work schedule. I have a fenced garden with lots of toys inside and outside. I have 2 furry friends of my own named Millie and Reggi who are very active and playful.

About: Since around age 8, I have had many different pets under my care. I have a dog named Minaj (yes, after Nicki... Thanks for that, mum.), and a lot of experience caring for family members' and friends' pets. I have also assisted in raising newborn puppies a number of times! Recently, I was responsible for the care of a dog that someone was forced to abandon, and spent a large chunk of time gaining his trust, making sure he felt safe and happy, until he was able to be permanently rehomed by a charity. I adore caring for pets of all ages and breeds, and am currently available full-time during my gap year! I have pet-sat for many family members, friends, and neighbours over the years, and am excited to carry on doing so! I am in my gap year between finishing my A-Levels and starting university in September 2025. While I am currently searching for part-time work, I am yet to find a permanent position, and am therefore available for pet-sitting gigs more often than not! Pet-sitting/overnight stays may occasionally be unavailable and have their status set to 'away', but my drop-in visit and dog walking services are almost always open for new bookings! I am unfortunately unable to offer boarding, as I have an elderly dog and four cats at home who aren't used to having unfamiliar animals in the home. However, I do offer pet-sitting (including overnight), dog-walking, and drop-ins, during which my full attention will be on ensuring the best of your pet's wellbeing and happiness.

About: Hi, I’m Marika! I grew up surrounded by animals- from giant breed dogs to exotic pets- so caring for all types of animals comes naturally to me. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes from my experience of working in a dog boarding kennels, where I walked and cared for dogs from all walks of life, and I currently have two rescue dogs and cats. I also previously cared for a lovely Weimaraner while working as an au pair. In addition to dogs, I have experience with cats and small furries, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s quirks, personality and routine. I have extensive experience with rescue animals, so I understand how important patience, consistency, and careful handling are, and I always tailor my approach to each pet’s unique quirks, needs and comfort level. What sets me apart is my calm, compassionate nature and my attention to detail- whether it’s a fun, energetic walk, quiet companionship, or sticking to a specific care routine. I’m reliable, respectful of your space, and fully committed to keeping your pets safe, happy, and relaxed while you're away. I'm very flexible and happy to work around your schedule- I’m available for weekends, overnight stays, and short-notice bookings. I’m also comfortable caring for puppies and senior pets, and can administer basic medication if needed. Your pet will be treated with the same love and care I give my own. I have an up to date DBS check for your peace of mind! I currently work for the government, mainly WFH, for 4 days per week. This means I’m flexible and can easily work around your schedule- whether you need regular walks, pet sitting, weekend help, or last-minute bookings. I’m available throughout the week and happy to adapt to what works best for you and your pets. I currently offer pet sitting in the pet owner's home only. I believe this also provides a more comfortable and familiar environment for your pets, reducing stress while you're away, and I live with rescue dogs and cats who would be uncomfortable at having unfamiliar pets brought into my home. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with the utmost respect and maintain your pet’s routine as closely as possible. I’m calm, attentive, and focused on creating a safe, relaxed atmosphere where your pets feel secure and cared for. I hold an enhanced DBS check and have been a government employee for several years-I’m more than happy to chat with you via video call and provide proof of these for your peace of mind. Building trust and maintaining the wellbeing of pets is my top priority.

About: I love all dogs and have looked after a few different breeds over the years. Due to my passion in travel I haven't had the chance to have a dog of my own. I have taken care of family dogs (2x German Shepards and a Cockerspaniel) whilst house sitting for 3 weeks at a time since I was 15. In the past I have fostered 4 dogs for LUNA (animal rescue based in Letchworth), they stay with us until they find their forever home. My parents live with me so there is always someone to give dogs lots of cuddles, playtime and attention. I will send picture updates during dog stays so don't be surprised if you see a parent in the background :) I'm currently working from home with flexible hours although I'm in a London office once a week. I'm available almost any time with notice, any day of the week. I'm also available to do home visits if needed but will need more than a day's notice. I am Canine First Aid Level 2 Certified for peace of mind to ownes. Even if your dog has good recall I keep all dogs on a lead on walks. Please ensure your vet info is updated on your profile in case of any emergencies.
