About: I have had doggies for over 20 years, in this time i have had various breeds from black labs to our current little Boston Mango, As you can imagen over the years we have attended numerous doggy schools, all be it we don't have any formal qualification we will always be happy to help with your training (if required) when you care for you dog I am a stay at home mum with my own business so is generally at home majority of the day minus the odd school run etc, Dave currently works nights so is around to assist with the doggy walks during the day and when I am off out on school pick ups. I have a patio and fenced back garden which the dogs can explore and play. I also live a short distance away to Fairlands park and other fields in the area so the dogs will always have a enjoyable and adventurous walk

I have owned dogs for the last 16 years, and looked after them from puppies through to elderly, including rescue dogs and can provide care to senior dogs. I’ve recently lost 2 of my dogs which I’m heartbroken about and it’s the first time I haven’t had a pet in the house in 20 years. About: I previously took care of two dogs and would love to have one again. Currently, I don't have a dog, but I am looking to do dog walking and sitting during my available time. I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays, so I am available anytime during those two days. On Fridays I can be available anytime in the afternoon after lunchtime. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, I can flex my schedule and will be available after 6:30 PM. Additionally, I am available on weekends and holidays. I live in a flat, but I'm close to the park and outside my flat there is a communal area plenty of space for dog walking.

About: I have 6 years of practical experience working with all sorts of dogs and cats from gray hounds boxers Labrador to short haired, tabby and ragsolls cats I have also volunteered at a dog daycare for two years caring for many kinds of dogs with many different temperaments and personalities I am currently am currently working part time but I am free on all week days and I am flexible and I am hoping to work with animals full time For dog walking I use a GoPro to record my walks for security purposes for example if I was walking a dog and someone falsely accused the dog of attack another dog I can easily prove they did not I am also dog first aid trained and always carry a first aid kit For house sitting I make sure the animals environment is safe for example if there is and broken items or any food left that could be toxic and if there is a garden I will make sure there is nothing that has been blown in from outside

Since I was a child, I have always been around animals and my family owned anything from gerbils, rats, hamsters, to cats, dogs and even a horse. About: I have owned a dog since the age of 11. Training, loving & adventuring with them has given me some of my best memories. I've had 3 dogs in total over the last 18 years. One rescue called Floyd, a cross between a beagle and jack Russel and now have 2 Cockerpoos, Fergie & Flossie. I am currently completing a diploma in dog grooming and a pet first aid course. About: Growing up I’ve had the joy of sharing my home with a variety of breeds, from the protective and loyal German Shepherds to the spirited and energetic Jack Russell. Each dog has brought its own personality and quirks, teaching me valuable lessons about companionship, trust, and responsibility. Currently, I live with our beloved 7-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback, a breed known for its strength, intelligence, and loyalty. Until recently, we had two Ridgebacks, but we had to say a heartbreaking goodbye to Ruby, our adored 11-year-old. For several years, I took a more structured approach to dog care by engaging in formal training at a local dog training school which is conveniently located near our home. This experience deepened my understanding of canine behaviour and allowed me to bond with my dogs in new and exciting ways. We focused on whistle recall, an essential skill that I find incredibly useful for keeping control and ensuring my dogs’ safety, especially in more open or distracting environments. Prey dummies were also a big part of our training, allowing the dogs to tap into their natural instincts in a controlled, stimulating way. Whether it was teaching them to walk to heel, guiding them through agility courses, or engaging in scent work and searches, these activities weren’t just about discipline—they were about making sure my dogs were mentally stimulated, giving them the chance to use their brains as much as their bodies. The joy I saw in my dogs when they were engaged in these tasks was priceless. It wasn't just about physical exercise, but mental stimulation One of the things I’ve learned over the years is the importance of being a responsible dog owner, especially when out in public spaces. I respect the unspoken code of dog walking—being mindful of other dogs, particularly those who might be anxious or overly excitable. It's essential to create a comfortable distance between dogs, allowing them their space without causing unnecessary stress or confrontation. When I'm out walking with my dog, I’m fully engaged. For me, it's not just about letting them run off energy; it's an opportunity to work them, keeping their minds active as well as their bodies. Whether we’re practicing commands, reinforcing training, or just interacting through games, I make sure that our walks are a time for both physical and mental enrichment. I work part time from home where I live with my husband and two teenaged children who are often found cuddling up in the dog beds. I walk my dog each day and mix the walks up so rarely are they on the same walk 2 days running. I have a big car boot (not precious about the car) and your dog will be welcome to join me on the school runs. My office is in our very large kitchen and backs onto our garden. Dogs are welcome in all rooms of the house and can often be found curled up in front of our inglenook wood burner. During warmer days we open the bifold doors onto the garden brining the outside in or is it the inside out!? We have a good size garden that is securely fenced. Several lovely dog walking fields around and walks where it's quite and I can see way ahead for other dogs should you hound be nervous of others. Kitchen is large and has plenty of space should you wish to crate your dog and several dog beds scattered around the house and rugs for them to lie and find a cosy spot to chill. I have a large crate available for use that can be covered and made into their own den/safe place, Kongs both big and small to keep our dogs entertained. Hose right outside the back door (warm buckets of water supplied for the more precious ones like my own!), happily groom and brush their teeth.

About: I have worked at Jollyes pet store for 1 year 5 months which has gave an in depth knowledge of pet feeding, pet needs and other advanced technicalities that comes with owning a pet! I also hold a level 3 pet first aid certificate. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of time to help with your furry friend. I have plenty of time to do toilet breaks and walks even around my work schedule. I have a fenced garden with lots of toys inside and outside. About: Since around age 8, I have had many different pets under my care. I have a dog named Minaj (yes, after Nicki... Thanks for that, mum.), and a lot of experience caring for family members' and friends' pets. I have also assisted in raising newborn puppies a number of times! Recently, I was responsible for the care of a dog that someone was forced to abandon, and spent a large chunk of time gaining his trust, making sure he felt safe and happy, until he was able to be permanently rehomed by a charity. About: I love all dogs and have looked after a few different breeds over the years. Due to my passion in travel I haven't had the chance to have a dog of my own. I have taken care of family dogs (2x German Shepards and a Cockerspaniel) whilst house sitting for 3 weeks at a time since I was 15. In the past I have fostered 4 dogs for LUNA (animal rescue based in Letchworth), they stay with us until they find their forever home. My parents live with me so there is always someone to give dogs lots of cuddles, playtime and attention. I will send picture updates during dog stays so don't be surprised if you see a parent in the background :) I'm currently working from home with flexible hours although I'm in a London office once a week. I'm available almost any time with notice, any day of the week. I'm also available to do home visits if needed but will need more than a day's notice. I am Canine First Aid Level 2 Certified for peace of mind to ownes. Even if your dog has good recall I keep all dogs on a lead on walks.
