My most recent cat, Gizmo, was full of fun and energy often sprinting down the garden and climbing trees, showing just how lively and playful she was. Gizmo was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, so I gained hands-on experience managing specific dietary needs, including feeding renal-based foods and sticking to a routine that supported her health. Sadly, she later passed away from lymphoma, but caring for her through this time taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of gentle, loving care. For eight years, Gizzy used a litter tray by choice (she was quite the little princess!), so I’m very comfortable with litter tray care and keeping things clean and fresh. About: Since around age 8, I have had many different pets under my care. I have also assisted in raising newborn puppies a number of times! Recently, I was responsible for the care of a dog that someone was forced to abandon, and spent a large chunk of time gaining his trust, making sure he felt safe and happy, until he was able to be permanently rehomed by a charity. Before moving away for uni, I did weekly drop-in visits, including dog walks, for a long-term client, and several overnight stays. The first dog I professional dog sat was a teacup pug named Tinkerbell, who was adorable! My own dogs are called Dexter and Teddy. Dexter is a Beagle and Teddy is a Puggle. I love spending time with my dogs, however because i’m at university, I haven’t been able to see them as often. This is why I am dog walking and dog sitting, because I love spending time with animals. I am free all days, as long as I don’t have a university class. I have classes for an hour or two on mondays, tuesdays and thursdays. But leave me a text and I can check my schedule! I care for other’s pets and my own by making sure they always have enough water and feeding them twice a day; morning and night. I also give my own dogs a lot of attention so they don’t get lonely.

I have a small backyard where dogs can go potty and get some fresh air, and I'm lucky to live close to some beautiful parks that are perfect for walks and a good run around. I always respect the owner's instructions to the letter — whether that's diet, exercise levels, medication, or any other specific routine — so dogs feel as safe and settled as they do at home.

About: I have 6 years of practical experience working with all sorts of dogs and cats from gray hounds boxers Labrador to short haired, tabby and ragsolls cats I have also volunteered at a dog daycare for two years caring for many kinds of dogs with many different temperaments and personalities I am currently am currently working part time but I am free on all week days and I am flexible and I am hoping to work with animals full time For dog walking I use a GoPro to record my walks for security purposes for example if I was walking a dog and someone falsely accused the dog of attack another dog I can easily prove they did not I am also dog first aid trained and always carry a first aid kit For house sitting I make sure the animals environment is safe for example if there is and broken items or any food left that could be toxic and if there is a garden I will make sure there is nothing that has been blown in from outside
About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I could remember. I’ve often taken in strays (mainly cats) and helped nurture them back to health. I absolutely love all types, sizes and breeds and can teach tricks ! I’m currently a student at Royal Holloway but I am on summer holidays so I am often available. Exotic animals have very specific requirements, temperature and humidity control, live feeding of invertebrates, and supplements. Cats and dogs need companionship, exercise, and enrichment. My experience and education have prepared me for carrying out all the above and much more. Keeping the environment clean and tidy to reduce bacteria build up and reduce the likelihood of accidents. Ensure the property is secure e.g. windows and doors locked, alarm set, no strangers entertained or allowed in to the property. Ensure the animal is being monitored and kept safe during its activities.

About: Antonia and I are both dog lovers looking for extra company on walks and in the holidays. I have had 2 Border Collies growing up as a child, one of which my parents still have now called Lily. I helped to train her from a pup, and have confidence with helping other dogs recall. I was also on borrow my doggie looking after other people dogs which have varied in size, breed and one had a disability. This went well and kept me busy in the school holidays however it was only a voluntary role. I am a teacher therefore will be busy on most days from 7am to 4:30pm School holidays or weekends would be a great time to care for your dog I have a fenced garden which is secure. Opposite the house there is a large green and small forest perfect for walks. In the house the dogs will be cared for as you wish. We are happy to have the dogs on the sofa and upstairs or in a crate if you prefer We often look after my mums dog so there are treats and toys in the house already
