About: I started looking after my neighbours 2 dogs, a boarder collie and a smaller breed dog! About: I have 35 years of experience caring for dogs and other animals at home, as well as looking after pets for friends and neighbours. I'm patient, kind and attentive and having taken all my dogs to training classes, I understand their behaviour and how to manage it safely and positively. As a recently retired teacher/headteacher, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of spare time to dedicate to to pet care. I am fit and active, enjoying daily walks with my own dog, gym sessions, pilates and swimming, so I can provide energetic, attentive walks and care. While I'm currently focusing on dog walking and pet visits, my home is safe and welcoming for pets. I have a fully fenced garden where dogs can play safely and plenty of indoor space to relax. My own dog is very friendly and good company for visiting pets, making them feel at ease. I would ensure any pets in my care feel comfortable, happy and well looked after.

About: With over 25 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and other pets, I bring reliability, love, and attention to detail to every pet I care for. Whether it’s feeding, walking, administering medication, or simply providing companionship, I understand that pets are family. I’m well-versed in handling pets of all ages and sizes, from playful puppies to senior pets needing extra care and patience. My goal is to provide peace of mind to pet owners while ensuring their furry friends are happy, safe, and cared for in their own routine. Let me help keep tails wagging! Dog walking is a big part of my daily life, not only because I have my own large breed, gentle Giants to care for, I run a small, personal dog-walking business. I love giving one-to-one care to all kinds of dogs, no matter their breed, age, or needs. My days are spent getting to know each dog’s personality, whether it’s keeping up with an energetic puppy, taking things slow with an older dog, or making sure a nervous pup feels comfortable and happy. I love knowing I’m helping dogs stay healthy and their owners feel at ease! I try to create a calm, comfortable, and secure environment. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, needs, and personality so they feel happy and relaxed. I follow any specific instructions from owners—like feeding times, walking schedules, and favorite toys—to keep everything familiar for the pet. I also keep a close eye on their safety, whether that’s using secure leads on walks, using a tracker, checking play areas for hazards, or making sure they’re never left unattended. My goal is to give pets the care and attention they deserve.

About: I just love dogs and have had them in my life for the past 15 years. Sadly though, my dog passed away last year and life (work) hasn't allowed me to get another one and I really miss having dogs in my life. So here I am, offering myself to you and your beloved dog(s) while you're away. I'm active, patient and affectionate and I'd love to spend some time getting to know the furriest member of your family. I can accommodate as many walks as you'd like or, equally can cater for quieter dogs who just want to chill. I'm here to offer reassurance while you're away that your dog is in safe, caring hands (with a strong supply of only the best treats, of course!) I work Monday to Thursday and have plenty of flexibility at the weekends. I have my own, pet friendly car to get around and love getting out and about with more active dogs (I'm also very active). I've always worked my time and schedule around my dog and would do the same for your pet too. I'm compassionate and affectionate towards dogs and I'm comfortable chatting away to them. Out and about, I believe in walking responsibly and being mindful of other dogs and dog owners - this means being on a lead where necessary and safe to do so (eg public footpaths through farms, walking by a road etc). I'm also a believer in building a relationship through play and also keeping a dog stimulated by engaging with them through games.

About: In-your-home or at-my-home pet sitting. Neighbours, friends, family and local pet owners have relied on me to feed, walk, brush, play with and cuddle their beloved pets for many years. I've grown up around dogs, cats, a horse, fish and small animals and feel confident caring for pets of all ages and temperaments. I have a large garden and quiet walks straight from the house. This is my full time job so they will have my company and full attention. We have a cat and 2 old border collies at home which we can keep at separate ends of the house if required. I also have a garden office which can be solely for your dogs too. I can give them as many bathroom breaks as required and playtime. Let me know how much walking they need and other requirements. I am used to both old and energetic pets so will accommodate to their needs and ensure they're happy. I'd need wifi connection so I can update you with photos. I'll stay in your home or mine and feed, brush, let in and out, play, walk, unlimited cuddles... Doggy day care: unlimited cuddles, downtime, play time, feeding etc. I have a huge garden and walks straight from the house. Dogs will be walked on lead unless we've agreed otherwise and their recall is reliable. I do not accept aggressive dogs.

About: I’ve always had a great love for animals, especially dogs. I’ve had family dogs growing up and adore the family dog that we currently have. I lived abroad in Canada for over a year and had the pleasure of working in a dog day care. I learned a great deal more about dogs and how each dog has different needs. I’ve always had the general knowledge for looking after pets, but working at the day care in Canada gave me a huge insight into much more. I have also completed an veterinary assistant online course, where I learned how to perform CPR on a dog and spotting signs for when they may need help or attention. I’m also very active and love going for walks, which is why I’d be happy to take other’s dogs for walks.

Rachel S.
“We would 100% recommend rachel as a dog walker, she always has our dogs safety and best interests at heart. Rachel has been coming to visit maisy since she was a puppy, she came to meet us to discuss what we were after and made sure maisy was comfortable with her alongside us being happy before starting. Rachel Sends photo/ health updates and always makes sure maisy has plenty of cuddles each time she sees her, maisy loves walkies with Rachel and we wouldn’t have anyone else 💜”

Callum S.
“Callum looked after our dog H over a number of years. He established a lovely relationship with him such that H excitedly anticipated his arrival and sulked when he left. Callum looked after H during our days away and during longer weekends away too. He fed him, exercised him and maintained H's routines as per our instructions. He walked H on and off the lead and used commands that H had been taught. He transported H in his car as well as ours. My impression was always that Callum enjoyed the time he spent with H as much as H enjoyed being with Callum.”

Estelle S.

“Estelle was amazing, she helped so much and Saffy loved her.”

Imogen W.
“Imogen has cared for our two collies and our cat several times. They all adore her, and she has great empathy with them all! She loves to walk them, and look after them, but loves best of all to just hang out with them. I thoroughly recommend Imogen as a house and pet sitter to any animal lovers wanting a safe and loving stand-in while they get away for a while.”

Emma H.

“Emma is very nice”
