About: I have owned dogs all my life and have experience training, walking and caring for them. I have owned several types of dogs so have learnt to handle different personalities. I have experience caring for dogs other than ones I own as well, such as babysitting for neighbours, extended family members and friends. I currently am a student at the university of York, on summer break until October. During this period I have no academic obligations, so my schedule is completely flexible seven days a week—including evenings and weekends. This open availability allows me to commit readily to regular or one-off engagements, accommodate last-minute requests, and dedicate consistent time and attention wherever it is needed. At home, I follow a consistent, safety-first routine: each of my dogs enjoys two purposeful walks every day, never less than an hour per outing. Whether we’re on-lead along busy pavements or in a secured, off-lead exercise area, I use well-fitted harnesses, high-visibility gear, and clear verbal cues to keep every dog under confident control. Years of working with energetic pups, strong pullers, and shy seniors have sharpened my ability to read canine body language and respond calmly to everything from sudden leash reactivity to distracted wandering. I proactively manage encounters with unfamiliar dogs—maintaining distance when needed, redirecting focus with positive reinforcement, and ensuring that every outing remains relaxed, enjoyable, and incident-free.

“Chelsea was fantastic looking after our cat. The updates and pictures were so lovely (very talented photographer). I was worried cookie wouldn't warm to other people but he loved having Chelsea around. Looked after the house nicely. Shes such a lovely person which adds to the comfort of leaving your house and animals with her. Will 100% be using her to look after cookie again.”

Georgia L.
“Georgia has had a passion for animals from a young age! Growing up, Georgia lived with cats and was an avid horse rider. Her love for horses quickly converted to caring for horses, this gave Georgia far more joy than riding them. In her teenage years, Georgias family got a cavachon, Georgia has been brilliant with walking him and caring for him. Georgia doesn’t just love animals, animals love her too!”

Phoebe D.
“You could not place the care of your beloved pets in more caring hands than Phoebe’s. She has lots of experience caring for her own ‘soul mate’ cavapoos Barney and Rusty, as well as smaller animal friends; rabbits and a tortoise! Phoebe intuitively understands pets likes and dislikes and adapts accordingly to their needs. You can trust that if Phoebe looks after your pet, they will be making a new friend.”

“I have never been a fan of kennels especially as my dogs are allowed inside the home and are allowed to sleep in their own beds or in my room. Finding someone who listens to you and makes your pet feel equally welcome in a different home environment, is very rare & I was so lucky to find this level of care here with Shauna. I also appreciated the unexpected video updates showing just how good a time my Labradors were having without me - my furry traitors! I have no hesitation in recommending Shauna for all pet services and she will always be my first choice for looking after my boy. (Labradors 29 & 31kg) My boys are on the medium/ large size and Shauna had no problem with handling them much to my great relief and satisfaction. Never using kennels again.”

“Jill is my neighbour and every time we go away she is my first choice to care for my cat. She reliably feeds him twice a day and always makes time to give him a cuddle. Jill also looks after my dog from time to time: she has had dogs of her own for years and is kind and confident walking and caring for dogs. i wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.”

Jock P.
“Jock is a loving and sensible caregiver. He understands what is needed when looking after our lovely but loving cockapoo, and always reacts appropriately to his little 'actions'.
