“Marco and partner were fantastic with our puppy. She had a thoroughly good and tiring time and I feel completely comfortable leaving my furr baby with them. Will be booking regularly. Thanks!”

“Alfie always gets excited now to go to Laura and David’s and they have become a staple part of my working week. They always enjoy having him and send regular updates and always seems to enjoy himself too. 😊”

“We have booked with Allison several times and will continue to do so! Allison was very understanding when my pup was experiencing a last-minute upset tummy close to our reservation. She was happy to clean up after her as needed and adjust our booking times to fit what I was most comfortable with. My puppy is shy around humans but now considers Allison her bff!”

“Naveen and her family have been absolutely incredible with our little boy. Boone had so much fun, updates were consistent throughout his stay and it was clear he was enjoying himself. Communication has been spot on, love and care has been outstanding and we just felt safe leaving our boy with them. We will absolutely be back and Boone I am sure cannot wait to also go back for more fun! Thank you for being so fantastic, we cannot wait for our next stay!”

“The best in the business, James is so friendly and welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the minute i met him. Vinnie always comes home absolutely shattered and happy! Couldn’t recommend more!🧡”

“He couldn’t be better, he looked after my girls so well they didn’t want to come back to me 😁. He made sure they were safe, had plenty of exercise and fed them too. I recommend him 💯 shame he’s not moving down south 🥹. Bella, Luna and Maria”

About: Previous cat owner, adhoc care of friends dogs . Became proud owner of Findlay as a puppy, enjoyed many happy years long walks, swimming , lunching out with other doggie friends. Sadly l lost him this year as a result of longterm nuerological problems. So gained months nursing him whilst he was housebound. As a dog owner I have vast knowledge of local walks equally happy to go for wee danders or chill in my garden with less able dogs. Fully retired with no other pet care responsibilies, very flexible and looking forward to welcoming your dog. My dog was my daily life routine so free to support others . Secure back garden with grass and shady borders for hot days. Can take dog in my car for further afield walks if appropriate. Your dog will have full freedom of my house and garden.

“Abbie looked after bear for my whilst I was at work during the day. He never usually wants to go back to people after a day but every morning bear was excited to go back and see Abbie. She walked him daily and he just wanted to sleep when he got home so well exercised, well socialised and just all round looked after bear really well. I’ll definitely use Abbie again when needed.”

“Lucas took amazing care of our puppy Remi today, and on quite short notice too which was really appreciated. Great communication from the start, Lucas made us feel really reassured that Remi would be looked after in his home the same as she is in ours, with love and care. Lucas's young lab Olive is also the most adorable dog, we were glad to be met by Olive at the door, immediately knowing that Remi would love playing with her. Thank you Lucas, we would love to, and will book your services in the future and 100% recommended you to other people looking for a safe and friendly home environment to look after their pets.”

About: I’m a huge animal lover with previous experience dog walking and pet sitting professionally. I have professional experience caring for dogs and cats as well as voluntary animal care experience with both Guide Dogs and the RSPCA. Working with the RSPCA I cared for animals with a variety of behavioural issues. I have also cared for my own dogs, cats and Guinea pigs throughout my life. I currently have 1 small dog who gets on well with other dogs. Any dogs in my care for the day would need to get on with her, happy to meet up beforehand to check this. When dog walking, I can walk dogs together or separately depending on your preference. I can provide drop in care and feeding for any pets as well as dog walking and daycare. Please get in touch with a request and I'll let you know if I can help 😊 I have good availability for pet care and walking over Summer 2025. Please get in touch and I’ll let you know if I can help! I live in a rural area with lots of quiet spots for walks. I have one small dog who any dogs in my care would need to get on with. I do live in a small flat with steps up to it. The garden is not fully secure.

About: We’ve always had family pets since I was born, from horses to cats, dogs and fish. Sadly I’m not in a suitable position to care for any of my own animals at the moment. Therefore, I want to put my free time to good use and care for dogs and cats in need while enjoying the company of some furry friends! I’m currently working flexible hours during the week in Durham, I drive and have lots of free time, I’m single with no children or any big commitments, so I have plenty of freedom to go on dog walks and pet sit in the North East! I’m aware that when I visit a new pet sit, the animals will not be familiar with me, therefore I will approach calmly and softly with a gentle energy so that both the owner and animal feel safe and comfortable in my presence.

About: I have always loved animals. I can't walk past a dog or cat without stopping to give them a fuss. I live close to the countryside, so a wealth of beautiful walks await your dog! We have a secure garden and lots of space. Our Labrador, Maggie, is a friendly girl who can accompany us on walks, or I offer solo walks. I will care for any breed, I only ask that your dog is child-friendly as I have two primary-school aged children who are both dog-lovers too. Whether you're looking for energetic walks for your dog, slower strolls, overnight care or drop-in visits, look no further. I work flexibly from home, and have time during the day to walk dogs, care for them here, or drop in to visit them at your home. I have a large, fenced garden for lots of outdoor exploration and play. I have a dog and cats of my own, so your dog will become a part of our family during their time with us. If I'm visiting your home, I will ensure that the dog will get plenty of attention and care.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and now the owner of a loveable cockapoo named Poppy. I also have history of looking after multiple dogs for other people using Borrow My Doggy, 1 of which we still look after to date. I work full time from home which allows me to offer day sitting at my house. I am able to tend to your dogs needs as and when required due to the flexible nature of my work. I also have a flexible lunch hour so can help with lunch time walks or drops ins within walking distance of my house only. Unfortunately no overnight boarding or in house dog sitting available. Pets are treated like one of the family in my home. I am more than happy to meet up before any doggy day care visits to understand your dogs needs and make sure your dog would be comfortable around me and my dog for any services provided. Happy for you to visit my home before any doggy day care visit so you can ensure the set up is what you need for your dog. I have a 4 year old cockapoo to keep your dog company so your dog must be good with other dogs. I have a large fenced garden for your dog to enjoy some play time as well as a spacious indoor area for your dog to relax in.

About: I grew up with dogs in and around my home, we’ve had different breeds of dogs in the family home since I was younger which I helped take care of and loved taking out walking. I enjoy meeting my friends and going walks with my dog and their dogs also. I have a dog of my own at home. Im currently not working so im available at any day or time. Just contact me to arrange a suitable date/time that will work best for you. I have a grassy patch out the back of my house which I take my dog to do the toilet, it’s pretty secluded but there can be regular traffic as it’s a parking area. My cat doesn’t get out. I have a crate which can be used if need be.

About: I have pets all my life since the age of 6 years old when I begged my parents to allow me to have a dog. All my pets were rescued. My most recent dog Roxanne aka Ladyship was rescued from the Edinburgh Cats and dogs home 8 years ago. She sadly left us about a month ago at the age of 14 years. She was a dog reactive staffie cross and we have worked on this with a dog trainer for 4 years therefore I know and can handle reactive dogs and I would be happy to provide boarding for them, if required. I am planning to rescue another dog however I decided to have a few months break to honor Roxy and grief. I miss dog company and I thought dog sitting would be a great way to spend time with dogs until such time when I rescue another dog. I have also look after my brother’s jack russell cross Benji when they are on holiday. He is super hyper and energetic dog. I also look after Chico my brother’s friend dog who is a Romanian rescue dog quite shy, timid and sensitive. I work from home most of the time and manage my own diary therefore I am available to pet sit and it does not collide with my work. We treat pets as family members and they will be treated as such with love and care that you give them. Roxy was called the Ladyship of the house and your pet would be treated the same.

Anne M.
“Anne has frequently cared for my collie Skylar. It’s been a home from home experience for Skylar who has been relaxed and settled in Anne’s home & garden. Skylar a rescue has set routines which Anne follows.. Skylar always wants to go out during the night for the toilet which makes it difficult to find willing dog carers who will do this but no problem for Anne. Now my dog is older and on her final chapter off life she is always delighted to have a sleep over. Skylar is on oral painkillers now and Anne is well experienced in administrating this. If your dog likes big walks or little walks, cuddles and home comforts Anne will be a top host to your fur baby .”

Rebecca K.Star Sitter

“Rebecca is just amazing with Max, I would recommend her to anyone! Her dog Charlie is so lovely and friendly, Max just loves going to them.”

Eva R.
“Eva has been a wonderful dog sitter for my shih-poo since he was a puppy and has provided outstanding service ever since. She is reliable and loves him like her own, I always know that he will be safe, loved, well taken care of and active when I leave him in Eva's care. She is a wonderful person, I can't recommend Eva enough!”

Jessica W.
“Jess is reliable and professional, communication and listening skills are spot on and most importantly, my dog loves Jess! Would not hesitate to recommend her!”

Amy H.
“Amy has always had a special affinity with animals and has loved caring for them since childhood. She has looked after my cats while I was away on holiday and ensured they were not only fed and watered, but took the time to pet and play with them too! Since owning her own dog, she has researched appropriate nutrition, care and training to make sure she provides the best home for her pet and has taken time to integrate her with the rest of the family - including her three cats - they all get on well together. I have no hesitation in recommending her as an excellent pet-carer.”
