About: Hi we’re Beth and James. We’ve both grown up with dogs of different breeds since we were young, looking after them from puppies until they’ve gone to doggy heaven. We have one dog, Ralph, who spends half his week with us and half with his grandad to keep him company. We also have looked after friends’ and families’ dogs for a number of years whilst they’ve enjoyed their holidays. We’re lucky to live in an area with fields and woods on our doorstep, and the beach just down the road and love exploring new trails with waggy tails. On our available days we work from home and love having furry friends to look after. At the weekends we enjoy a relaxed pace with activities like long walks, tasty brunches, brewery visits or movies on the sofa. We have a spacious garden with a secure fence. We can accommodate sleeping arrangements for crate-trained or not dogs. We also have a stairgate for any dogs (like ours!) that struggles to get up and down the stairs independently. In the summer, we have rooms at the front of the house that stay cool for doggies struggling in the heat!

About: I've had cats and dogs around me for most of my life. From puppies to senior dogs, Chihuahuas to German Shepherds, I've looked after them all. Having my own dog means I understand the responsibility, routine and emotional needs pets have. My dog is friendly and playful, but also loves lazing around the house. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I'm at home most days, and with my flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to give pets attention, care and affection they need. I live with my partner and we have four children age 8 to 10 who are gentle and love animals, so pets get lots of playtime and companionship, although I will be the care taker of your dog. Whether pets are in my home or their owners, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. In my home, I have a pet-friendly environment with space to play and rest. I follow the pets usual routine as closely as possible - this includes feeding schedules, walks and any special care they need. I also make sure they get plenty of love and attention throughout the day.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, and recently had the absolute joy of owning my beloved Cavapoo, Ted, for several years. He's sadly no longer with me, and I now have a big dog-shaped hole in my life – ready to be filled with love for your pooches! I've looked after lots of different dogs over the years, including my mum’s Romanian rescue, so I’m comfortable with pups who might be a bit more nervous or reactive. Ted himself was wary of other dogs, so I’ve always been very mindful and proactive when it comes to walking, socialising, and creating a calm, safe environment. I work from home full time, so I can be around as much as your dog needs. At most, I might pop out for an hour to do the food shop, but I’d build up to that gradually based on what your dog’s comfortable with :) I live in a flat, but I'm lucky to have the beach right on my doorstep and lots of lovely walking spots nearby – I usually stick to quieter routes to keep things calm and stress-free, especially for more sensitive dogs. Your pup will have a relaxed, homely environment here with plenty of attention and care. I make sure they get regular toilet breaks – usually every 2–4 hours, or more often if needed. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel settled and secure. I never leave dogs unattended, and I always prioritise their comfort and safety – whether that’s avoiding crowded dog areas, keeping to their preferred walking pace, or creating a cosy chill out spot in my home just for them.

We’re used to adapting our routine around the needs of the dogs we care for, whether they’re full of energy or prefer a slower pace. At our home, dogs have access to a secure, fenced garden for safe outdoor time, perfect for a sniff and on-demand toilet breaks. We also live right opposite the beautiful Alexandra Park, the perfect place for walkies — or a short walk to the beach. We love walking and always tailor exercise/walks to suit your dog’s energy levels and needs.
