About: I’ve grown up with dogs. As a family we’ve always had rescue dogs, so I have had experience with many different breeds, personalities and temperaments. I love all dog breeds and they seem to love me back 🙂 My work is flexible which enables me to look after your dog at a time to suit you. I live next to Abington Park and can offer dog walking dog sitting, drop in visits and overnight stays within a 3 mile radius of my home. I also like to meet a new dog and their owner first (free of charge) to help us all to get to know each other before your first booking. I’m confident with dogs and have looked after dogs for friends and family for most of my adult life. I have also had experience of working in kennels. You can confident that your dog will be well looked after and I’ll keep you updated with photos and texts when I’m looking after them My work is part time and very flexible, as I want to build my dog walking business. This means I can easily work round your dogs requirements. I will allocate time to the dogs, needs making sure they get daily exercise and are fed at their feeding time and any other pet care requests from the owner. I will also be respectable in the owners home.

“Alexandra has been superb 👌 our cats were so relaxed when we returned like we have never left the house. We were spoiled by pictures and videos each day we were away. I would highly recommend her services.”

“Polly was great! very responsive on messages and our cat is very happy with her visits, will definitely be reaching out to polly for any future cat visit needs. Greatly appreciate it!”

“Sofi and Dave cared for my two cats whilst I was on holiday. One of my cats is very shy and tends to get easily upset leading to 'accidents' and the other is a bit suspicious of strangers. I loved getting the updates from each visit so that I knew that both cats were ok - they even managed to get some photos of the very shy cat! And the suspicious cat began greeting them and purring - high praise indeed! The updates were detailed and very informative and I really felt that my pets were in very good hands. I would definitely recommend Sofi and Dave for any pet care needs - they are reliable and highly trustworthy. And they can cope with weird cats...”

“Jamie was great! Really helpful in looking after my very anxious cat. I arranged for an additional visit beforehand, so that he was aware of exactly what was needed. He updated me after each visit with detailed and reassuring reports. I most certainly recommend Jamie and will definitely be asking for his help again in the future.”

“Danielle is very professional and took time to meet me and my cats to get to know them, their habits and their needs. I received daily updates on my pets and was reassured they would be monitored and we'll whilst I was away. Would definitely book again.”

“Shernai was great for Freddie. It was our first time using this app, so concerns and overprotective thoughts regarding Freddie were always on our mind. However Shernai dealt with all of them in the nicest way possible, making sure to send us updates regarding Freddie and his wellbeing, he loved her! She gave him the nicest cuddles. It was a spot on choice to select Shernai to take care of him, will definitely contact her in the future !”

About: I did regular house sitting and pet sitting from the ages of 18-23 years old where I was a registered pet sitter at a veterinary practice and have looked after puppies, dogs, cats, fish, birds (including chickens). Since moving to the UK, I have helped friends with their dogs and am comfortable and find joy in loving, walking, cleaning up after, feeding and washing all animals! I work full time Monday to Fridays but with two days WFH. My husband and I work together to make sure all pets are cared for, loved, walked twice a day, cleaned up after and have company during the day. Both of us having grown up with pets all of our lives and both have individually managed care for pets for family and friends. My husband, Lyle, will work with me to make sure your pets are loved and cared for I have a fenced back yard. I am happy following instructions on how best to care for your specific pets. From crating to sharing a bed with your pet, I am happy with it all!

“This is the first time I have used Rover and I am so so pleased I selected Scarlett to do the drop in visits for my two cats. One of my cats can be a fairly grumpy old lady but she warmed to Scarlett! Excellent communication, loads of pictures and two happy cats when I got back. I cannot recommend enough.”

About: Key Information: - only dogs from one household will be walked together/be provided daycare/boarding - (for daycare/boarding) we live in a flat with no garden but there is green space about 10m from the front door for toilet breaks - (for daycare/boarding) the flat is located on a cut through so very often there are people walking past, and cars frequently arrive and leave so please consider if this will distress your dog in any way - (for daycare/boarding) similarly, despite our flat being self-contained, there are shared hallways/entrances so people can be heard moving around the building/we have a neighbour above us Despite currently being unable to have a dog of my own, I’ve been walking and caring for others’ dogs for many years as I love spending time with them and find the whole experience very enjoyable, and a great excuse to discover new areas. My partner, Tom, often joins me on these adventures and he’s a dog lover too! I volunteered for two years at an animal sanctuary back home in Norfolk where there were a variety of dogs of numerous breeds and sizes, many who were reactive/had behavioural issues. As well as friends and family, I’ve also helped care for work colleagues’ dogs and those in my local area, covering many breeds such as Labradors, French Bulldogs, Cocker Spaniels, terriers, and an Akita to name just a few :) Besides walking, this has included: feeding, bathing, light grooming (brushing/filing nails) and administering medication I currently work full-time but work from home 3 days a week so am usually available all day/lunchtimes when I’m at home, as well as most evenings and weekends. This can be flexible depending on the amount of notice given. I will always try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate differing needs. I’m more than happy to accommodate your dog’s current routine/preferences, and will discuss these with you prior to our first walk/daycare/boarding, e.g. no dogs/no off lead/loves to play fetch etc/can or can’t have treats etc

“Mustafa was amazing with simba he really cared for him making sure he was eating playing sleeping comfortably Mustafa truly loved Simba as his own. I couldn't of made a better choice I would most definitely recommend him to everyone who is looking to leave their animal in a caring person and a home 😊”

About: Hi, I'm Caitlin, a new sitter and I am a huge dog lover with over 14 years of experience caring for my own pups! Unfortunately my fur babies have reached the rainbow bridge now and so I have so much love and affection to give! Over the years, I've raised and looked after two of my own fur pups, as well as multiple friends/family pets, giving me firsthand experience in providing the love, attention, and care that all dogs need. I understand that every dog has their own unique personality and needs, and I will always tailor my care to fit their routine. Your pup will be treated like family, because that's what they deserve! I have experience with dogs at all sizes and ages, and I am also able to administer any oral medication that might be necessary (even if it’s hidden in a yummy treat!) I'd love to meet your fur baby and give them the best loving care possible. I work night shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, but I have plenty of time on my days off to provide attentive, loving care for your pups! My main availability is Tuesday-Thursday but still feel free to message if your inquiry is out of these days. I respect your fur baby’s space and will stick to their familiar routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions you usually provide. I live on a ground floor flat with my partner that has direct access to the outdoors, so potty breaks will be no issue!

About: With over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, I offer a warm, home-based environment where your pup will feel like part of the family. As a work-from-home mum of two (ages 6 & 10), I provide round-the-clock attention, plenty of companionship, and daily walks with my own dog, Rudy, a friendly 6-year-old mini dachshund who is in his element with other dogs. Whether your pup loves playtime, snuggles, or just a calm space to relax, I tailor care to their needs. Your furry friend will be in safe, loving hands! 🐾💛 My day revolves around a pup-friendly routine, ensuring plenty of attention and activity for your fur baby! Mornings start with the school run (8–9 AM), followed by a dog walk in the 118-acre park next door. I then work from home until 3 PM, meaning your pup will have company all day with plenty of wee breaks whenever needed. After the afternoon school run, there's time for more play, cuddles, and relaxation before the evening wind-down. On weekends, we love getting out in nature as much as possible, so dogs in our care can enjoy long walks in the woods and local parks with us, perfect for adventure-loving doggos! Your dog’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. My home features a fully fenced, secure garden for safe outdoor play, and inside, there’s plenty of space (including cosy sofas for snuggles!). I take regular walks in the park next door and tailor care to each dog’s needs, whether they love playtime, company, or a quiet spot to relax. “Katherine had a great repour with my two Beagles which are known to be a handful at times and she followed the dogs schedule which helped reduce anxiety for the dogs while we were away .She played with them and gave all the cuddles they wanted ,sending us regular updates to put our minds at ease too. She has also cared for our cats on several occasions completing two visits a day. Ensuring the litter trays were regularly cleaned and swept up the loose litter so the house was still fresh when we got home. She is my go to pet sitter and I like that you can choose your sitter on the Rover site .No request was to silly .
