About: I’ve looked after dogs for most of my life, whether they’ve been my own family pets or for family and friends. At home I currently have a 1 year old working cocker which I really miss when I’m back up at uni. Having such a high energy dog means I feel like I can keep up with just about anything! I am a medical student so sometimes just having a dog to hang out with is much needed! I have put “no pets” as in my uni house I have not got pets. I am a medical student so I do tend to have quite a busy schedule but I also sometimes have half days which means I tend to get back just after midday. As I am now on my placement years I have a little less free time but I am always free in the evenings and I am completely free on weekends, all day and night. My schedule varies weekly but but it means that no days are ruled out every week! I have a valid DBS certificate. I can easily crate your pet if needed, and due to growing up with dogs and having looked after a fair few I know my way around keeping them safe and any precautions I would need to take. As I will be looking after your dog in your own home it will mean that they won’t be uprooted or in a new environment, so you won’t have to worry about them being somewhere you don’t know and they don’t know. I am very respectful so any house rules you may have I will ensure to follow E.g. if your pet isn’t allowed on the sofa I will continue to enforce that.

About: ve loved being a pet owner since I was 14! Today I have two beautiful cats (Brad and Janet) who I'm slowly training to do tricks like sit! Mostly though, I just enjoy petting them whilst they sit on my lap. I realised that pet sitting could be great fun while I was looking after my friends cats for three weeks whilst they were in China. It was very rewarding to earn the trust of an new animal friend and to get to know their character. Since then I have often looked after the family dog and loved taking him for long walks, regularly sit a beautiful black lab and 2 lovely, friendly greyhounds! I have also looked after lots of lovely cats whilst their owners are away, making time to get to know them. I've had some time off petsitting whilst working full time but I've now worked out some time to pick it up again and meet some lovely cats and dogs! I live in High Heaton and know loads of lovely places to walk dogs. I also have a car if your dog has a favourite place to visit that's further afield. I look forward to meeting you and your animal friend! I work full time in the city centre but happy to visit before and after work, or even at lunchtime if its close by. Can do weekends. I like to spend 30 mins to an hour at a house to make sure your animal friends gets all the attention I can give them.

About: I was raised with pets my whole life. My family focuses on rescuing dogs and cats from troubled backgrounds, and helping them relearn what a warm and loving home can be. From the age of 11, I both babysat and dogsat for my neighbours and friends of my parents. Since moving to university, I've missed my pets more than anything, and am very keen to get to know some furry friends here in Newcastle! I have experience looking after my friend's very bouncy cocker spaniel, and am looking to expand now that I have more time through summer. Although I don't have a garden, I have easy access to grass outside of my building, and am a 5 minute walk away from Exhibition Park. I am a part-time student, currently on summer break, so I am completely free and completely flexible to look after your pets. I also tutor but that is completely freelance, so I'm free to build my own schedule. I have a very calm demeanor, and prioritise making sure the dog is completely comfortable in my presence. I am happy to set up an initial meeting (free of charge) with your pet while you are there, so that they can get to know me and my scent before we spend time alone together.

About: I've cared for small - medium sized dogs of varying breeds since my teenage years, dog walking and house sitting for family and friends. As a professional basketball player and a trainee psychotherapist, I'm available on weekdays and some weekends to engage with your pups. I work from home most days, when I house sit, if you’re happy for me to, I can be available for your fur babies between clients and during study breaks! About: Ever since I was 7 I've had dogs or taken care of them. My years of experience mean I'm comfortable with training puppies as well as caring for elderly dogs. I'm confident with all kinds of dogs and am very adaptable. I work well with shy, rescue dogs or bouncy, outgoing dogs, and as a runner I'm comfortable walking energetic, active dogs. About: I've been around and taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was very young. I've some experience with dog training (I'm not professional by any means) but as a result, I am very comfortable and confident handling big dogs, as well as small dogs. I do not discriminate and am happy to sit any breed of dog, bully breeds have a special place in my heart! I have recently lost my childhood dog, a black lab (the first photo), and so it means the world to me that I can meet so many loving pets. I work Saturdays but am free on weekdays, I may have free time outside of my availability shown (just pop me a message!) and I'm very flexible - caring for a pet can be unpredictable and the needs of your dog come first. I am very flexible with your preferences and the way you care for your dog. If you want to reinforce that they don't go on the furniture, I can maintain this. If they are reactive and you prefer them not to socialise with other dogs, I can maintain this. If you would like to reinforce the use of crates or other equipment (muzzles etc...) please provide these.
