About: I’ve always been an animal lover and taken every opportunity to spend time with animals - including pet setting for ducks, a cat and a pig! I have experience with various dog breeds, temperaments and sizes. My beloved Jack passed away in 2025 aged 18, I miss him dearly but I’m so glad he was able to live out his golden years at home with us. I’m specialised in senior dog care, and I’ve also trained pups and would love to get out walking and help you care for your pet. I work flexibly, which allows me to have time for dog walking and drop in and play visits. My most available days are usually Tuesday and Wednesday. I would like to offer care in my home one day, but for now I would love to care for your pet in your own home - or out walking. I can help with anything from walking, playing and crating if needed.

About: My family always had dogs whilst I was growing up from Alsatians to Schnauzers. I was also lucky enough to have my own horses too up until the age of 25 when my daughter was born. I now own my house in Tiverton and have a gorgeous little Yorkie Russell who just loves to play. I will treat your dog as my own and they will have a home from home right here with us. I work from home full-time so will be around during the day to take care of their needs, at the weekend I love to take my daughter and the dog to beaches, woodlands and other outdoor beauty spots for a nice long walk and play. I will be around to take care of your dogs every need, my boy (Mario) just loves to play and my daughter loves to have cuddles and will play with him for hours if I let her :) Mario has free roam of downstairs so I would work with you on what suits your dog best. My garden is completely enclosed with a 6ft fence.

“So far Amber has come to drop in to feed my dog and let her out. Amber had also accepted a last minute request to do the same. I can’t fault Amber - this is the first time that I’ve used a pet sitter and will continue to use Amber. Amber has sent me photos which I’ve appreciated Amber also cleared up a bit of mess from the bin when my dog decided to investigate it - something I wouldn’t expect anyone to do but really appreciated it!”

About: Ive taken care of various different animals over the years beginning when I was 8 with my very first pet. Ive taken care of different breeds of dogs ranging from woldhounds all the way down to dachshunds. My garden is very large with a field just round the back of the house. Currently there are other caged pets in and outside my house such as birds, a rabbit & a Lizard. I currently work a zero-hour contract so I decide when I would like to work so I will have plenty of time to play and entertain your pups. My garden is fenced in and all pets that live in the house have a designated area either outdoors or in a room where your pet cannot get a hold of them. For car journeys I have designated safety features for every size dog. Bigger dogs will usually either go in the crates or be harnessed to the seats. The dogs will NEVER be allowed in my vehicle without some sort fo safety feature.

“Katie looked after our cat Arty for a week whilst we were away on holiday and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. She took good care of him with lots of cuddles and gave me regular updates (with photos), so that I knew he was doing ok. Having Katie look after Arty massively reduced my anxiety about going away and was a much nicer option for him than going to the cattery. Thank you Katie!!”

“Bethany did a great job looking after our elderly collie , reliable and friendly gives constant updates . Went above and beyond and spent time with our cat charlie …. Would definitely recommend Bethany”

About: I have always had dogs and cats in the family to look after. I have looked after dogs of all different sizes and many different temperaments. Dogs make the house a home. However I know there are times where you can't see them, whether that's a day out, work or a holiday and that's where I come in! I am looking forward to meeting your dogs, I find they are better company than people! I'm on my summer break from Uni at the moment so am available most days throughout the week and weekends to help look after your dogs and cats. To keep the animals safe, I make sure to always use the right leashes, follow all rover guidelines but most importantly follow the owner's advice and instructions to look after the pet as they know them best!

About: Hello! My name is Monica, I live in a dog-loving family on a peaceful smallholding in Mid Devon. I am your dog carer and work from home full-time, meaning your dog will have constant companionship and care throughout the day. I have school age children who are gentle and respectful around animals, and no other pets in the home—making this a calm and spacious environment for your dog to relax, play, and feel secure. I respect owners’ house rules, and can tailor care to suit your dog’s individual needs and routine. Each day starts with a morning walk around our fields or quiet local footpaths to help your dog burn off energy and enjoy the fresh countryside air. After breakfast, there’s time for rest, play, or cuddles—whatever suits your dog’s temperament. I will be home all day to provide supervision, toilet breaks, and company. In the afternoon, we usually head out for another walk or some garden time, followed by a calm evening with the family. I stick closely to your dog’s usual feeding and sleeping routines to keep them happy and settled throughout their farm stay. Your dog’s wellbeing and safety are at the heart of everything I do. While the farm house itself isn’t fully enclosed, I have several acres of securely deer-fenced land where dogs can safely explore, play, and enjoy the fresh air under supervision. I am home throughout the day to provide constant care and ensure your dog is never left unattended outdoors. I only host one dog or one family’s dogs at a time, so your pet receives my full attention in a calm, structured setting. With gentle children, a peaceful countryside location, and a strong focus on routines and reassurance, I create a trusted home-from-home where your dog can settle in with confidence.

About: Ive been around dogs all my life and love taking care of them! I have a cocker spaniel of my own called Benson who adores all dogs. I’m currently at university, but i have a very flexible schedule. I’m free in the week and weekends with notice. I have a dog if my own, Benson, a cocker spaniel, so i am use to working my schedule around my dog anyway! I live in a house with a spacious private garden and live close to many dog parks and lovely walks! “This was the first time I had left Gus, my 6 month old GSD with anyone but Anna put me at ease about it straight away. When I came home, Gus was happy and had obviously been well cared for. Anna even messaged and sent me a photo during her visit to reassure me. I'm a very happy customer and will be using Rover again.”

About: I’ve had working Springer Spaniels in the home my whole life and started helping out with them as soon as I was old enough to! They are my babies, I have also cared for many of my friends and family’s pets across the years. Some with a dairy farm I grew up visiting, my dad keeps bees there. Some neighbours with an old tortoise called torts! Dogs of all sizes, from st Bernese to jack russels. I work 4 days a week between the hours of 8-6 shift start and end times changing daily so will be out of the home for 7-9 hours a day but if the home is in Exeter I can come back on my break to let pets out etc and can walk pets before and after work easily! I will play with the person or take them for walks, or merely spend time in their company if they’re a more slow living pet! Feeding, any medications needed, keeping water refreshed are all given priorities in my care. I am open to most forms of care as I understand every pet has very differing needs!

About: I've always grown up with dogs and am a dog mum of own, I am passionate about looking after and caring for dogs, horses! I love being outside and exploring places. I've been fortunate enough to support litters of puppies that have come into my family. From teaching them to sit and wait for food to throwing and catching a ball. I am a passionate when it comes to worming and always time for a cuddle at the end! I adore animals and would really love to opportunity to be your dog walker or pet sitter. I would also be happy to have overnight stays at my house and stay at others. I am at a stage in my life now were I want to be more flexible and less stressed in a 9-5. Cannot be chicken though. So I have understanding of allergies. We have wonderful walking trails around near my house so plenty of exercise to little strolls. I am new to Chagford although I am always looking for a new adventure.

You always feel a bit nervous when you go away, but Jolie has done a great job looking after my pets and I would gladly use her services again in the future.”
