About: I've had experience with all ages of dogs including puppies and older dogs. I've grown up with dogs all my life and seek them out at any opportunity! Including travelling around South East Asia where I volunteered in a dog rescue and rehabilitation facility for 2 weeks. I am currently unemployed due to being between two travelling trips (going away again in September) which means I have lots of free time to give to your pets! Previously I was a class teacher in a primary school for 3 years. When at home I have shared responsibility of bringing up a puppy (who is now 4), including walks and feeding. During my volunteering I was able responsible for cleaning, creating an inviting safe environment and administering medication.

About: I have two cocker spaniels, Millie is 10years old and Bonnie is 11 mouths, I love all sorts of animals and have two cats and 10 chicken. Very experienced and I enjoy walking every day. I work from home and walk my dogs at least twice a day. I have a large, enclosed and secure garden. There is access to the field at the bottom of my garden and lovely walks beyond. I have space and time to take care of one or two dogs from the same home. My dogs are crate trained but I also allow them to sleep on the sofa. I have plenty of garden space and easy access to walks along the steam, through the woods and over fields.

About: I have owned my own animals since I was a child, and grew up around all kinds of animals on a farm. I have worked professionally with horses, and as a dog groomer and walker. I currently have one dog of my own who spends 24/7 with me, and we regularly train and compete in agility. I have owned my own dogs from beginning to end of life so I’m experienced in both puppy and senior care, and everything in between. I have an enhanced DBS certificate, and I am fully insured as both a dog walker and pet sitter. I also have an up to date accredited canine first aid certificate. I work part time from home, with flexible hours, and the rest of the time revolves around my dog! So I can easily tailor your requirements to suit you and your pets. I have a small yorkiepoo of my own, who is 18 months old. She’s a lovely, friendly little dog but she does get a bit overwhelmed by big dogs, so I can only accept small-medium ones to care for. I have a large crate if necessary…although that’s in the shed at the moment as my dog is on the sofa or bed with me! Whatever your dog’s routine is, I can follow it. If they’re used to sleeping in bed with a human, or in the same room, I can accommodate that. If it’s not belting it down with rain, I go walking for at least an hour per day, often in the woods at Stourhead or similar nearby spot. If it is raining then we still go out, but for shorter walks. I have a large lawn which dogs can use. I do have 2 cats (they are used to my dog and don’t seem bothered by other dogs coming over), but if your dog is a prolific cat botherer I may not be the sitter for you.

About: We are a responsible, professional couple - one working 5 mornings a week for Tesco and the other working in district nursing - who have always had animals in the family. We would love to provide short term holidays for your loved ones in our ground floor flat with private garden. We’ll give them regular walks, toilet breaks, lots of play, bathing if requested and more than happy to accommodate special dietary requirements and health conditions. We can be home all day potentially 5 days a week depending our shift patterns so please send us a message to find out more. If you are comfortable for your furry friend to be on its own from 7:30 till 12 on the days that we work we would love to welcome them into our home at any time. We have a good sized fenced back garden and are surrounded by countryside walks. We live in a very quiet area with very little noise so we can provide a really relaxed stay.

About: I have a huge sealed cottage style garden so your pet can sniff and snuffle to their hearts content, they can sleep on the beds or sofas and will be treated as part of the family Currently at home all day so plenty of time for walks and cuddles and play time and to give your dogs all the time and love they need Fully secure cottage style garden so they are 100% safe while being able to play as much as they want too. They will have the full run of the house at all times.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs but due to travelling a lot, it’s not the right time to get one of our own just yet, but I love to spend time with my parents elderly German Shepherd and he comes to stay with me whenever they’re away. As I’m not in a place to get a dog of my own at the moment, I’ve joined Rover to fill the gap and I can provide a fun and loving time for your dogs during house sits, boarding or walks. I work full time but a large portion of time is spent working from home so I can usually fit in walks before and after work, or on my lunch break. About: I’ve had my friendly little Jackapoo for 10 years and my happy handful of a Beagle for 5 years and would love company for them. I work from home the majority of the time and have 2 friendly dogs of my own so am always on the go with them I have a large fenced in garden which the doors are open to when I’m home and I myself wander in and out a lot

About: I absolutely ADORE doggies and always have! I’ve had dogs ever since I was born, so grew up taking care of them and walking them, bathing them etc. I’ve also looked after neighbours and friends and families pets when it’s been needed. I’m currently work in catering during the hours of 11-6, so have plenty of time to care for your pups before I start and when I have finished. I’m fortunate enough to get all of the school holidays off, plus and extra few weeks being that it’s at Milfield. So can be assured I’ll care and cuddle for your pets on any occasion you need me:) Please do drop me a message and we will chat about your pets needs. I cannot offer boarding at my own home unfortunately, but I am more than happy to board in your own home, as in my opinion it keeps the dog comfortable and doesn’t change too much of a routine for them.

About: I've had animals since a young age and as I have grown up and I fallen in love with working with them even more. I have cats, used to own a dog and also have worked with horses. I love animals and it is my goal to work with them. Due to currently working away from home. I am only able to do Weekend work in this area as I will be six hours away. About: Hello!! May name is Alice, and I joined Rover in order to make use of my free time, and spend time with pets of all different sizes!! I have taken great care of dogs all my life. My family has owned a range of dog breeds, including Weimaraner’s and Spaniels! My current family dog is a Belgium Malinois, which is known to be a highly energetic breed. I am currently based in Shepton Mallet, so there are plenty of big fields on my doorstep to keep the pooches happy! I currently work on a rostered basis, of 5 days on, and 3 days off. This leaves me plenty of time each week to care and comfort for pets. If I’m doing a drop in, I’ll give your pets a nice hello to ensure they warm up to me! If there’s any accidents, I’ll clean them up before I leave!

About: I’m Lucy, I’m 29 and I have had dogs my entire life. Dogs are a huge part of my life, and we recently lost our family dog aged 14. I have had cats for the last few years and am experienced informally with looking after friends and family’s dogs whilst they are away etc. Dog walking has been a joy all my life and I’m keen to continue doing it, despite losing our Alys recently. I currently work from home and would love the opportunity to dog walk on my lunch breaks or after work depending on what is needed. My job can be demanding so after work is preferable, however I am reliable and would not let you down last minute. I am flexible and keen to fit this in as it means a lot to me. I have a car and am happy to transport if needed, to go to good dog walking areas. I would ensure we discussed safety and any anxieties/quirks your dog has prior to taking them out. A meet and greet is essential so the dog is happy and you are comfortable.
