“As usual, Heidi was on point and we are so glad she was able to look after our cats while we were away. Heidi always provides pictures and videos so we never felt too out of touch with them. Our older cat required steroids and eye drops and Heidi was happy to help with this. Due to her diligence, his eye infection has cleared up and he is feeling much better. Our younger cat was having some symptoms of being poorly and Heidi was quick to bring it to our attention and kept us updated on her status. We felt reassured and relieved that Heidi was the person looking after them when we couldn’t be there when they were ill and felt no doubt that they were in great hands. On our return, our cats were happy, healthy, and snuggly!”

About: I grew up on a farm and have always had pets around, so being around animals feels second nature. I regularly look after friends’ and family members’ pets. About: Growing up I have taken care of a variety of pets, Guinness the guinea pig (my imagination for names is not the best), Bubbles a fish I saved from biology class, my little hens Lady Grey and Henny Penny, and our family dog Maya the beauceron. So while I have no formal skills, I love all animals and jump at any chance to spend time with them! I can guarantee that your dog will have regular exercise, play lots of games and be given love and attention while in my care. I work hybrid and in an office that's a 20 minute walk from my home. I can stay at home three days a week with your pet, but if I need to go into the office, and my partner is not at home, then it's very easy to use my lunch break to give the dog a quick walk and toilet break. This is in addition to a morning and evening break in the local green spaces around my apartment. I don't have a garden as I'm a fourth floor apartment, however there are several green spaces we can access for toilet breaks. I live with my partner with no other animals, aside from the tits and goldfinches that come to the window feeder, so your pet will be our top priority.

About: I've had pets the majority of my life, before moving for uni I lived with 3 cats, a dog, and two guinea pigs! As well as caring for my own pets, I was also responsible for walking my grandmothers dog during his final years when she was unable to keep up with what he needed for fitness. Looking after pets isn't just a chore in my eyes its enjoyable and I love learning animal's personalities! I'm currently a PhD student which means I have a lot of control over my work hours, so I'll be available to care for pets any time during the work day, as I can come and go when necessary or work from my laptop if I'm pet sitting in yours or my own home! Care for pets in my eyes is treating them like a member of the family! I'll play with, feed, walk, and love your pets. Adaptability is key as well, for example, where my household is big on spoiling with treats (within reason of course), I wouldn't do this without express permission when caring for someone else's pet!
