Our Cocker Spaniel ‘Stanley’ was with Gary for 7 nights and every morning Gary would take the time out to write us a message to let us know how Stanley had been, which immediately reassured us. We got frequent messages throughout the day and pictures to see what the pair had been up to. We would highly recommend Gary to anyone considering boarding for their dog and will definitely be reusing him in the future.”

About: Myself and partner Barry have had our own dogs as well as pet sitting, walking and boarding for friends and family. We love all types of dogs. I love the cuddles and feeding side and Barry loves the walks in the woods. Both of us love to take dogs out with us for the day like theu are part of the family. I’m anr home anll day and Barry is builder by trade and has flexible working hours as he’s self employed. Pets wouldn’t be left alone for very long as I’m home most days to take care of them. I have a fenced in garden for safety, a stair gate for the stairs if needed. We don’t tend to put dogs in crates unless requested. If looking after pets in your own home we will require any special instructions to be sent to us in writing including, such as times to be let out/in. Any medication must all be put in writing so this can be safely administered.

About: I’ve always had dogs since I was young and have always hated using impersonal kennels. I have a small, friendly pug who loves being around all dogs. I have a lovely, secure garden and access to great walks nearby. Your dog will be well cared for and treated like one of the family. I cannot overstate how much we love looking after dogs and they are our top priority - we know how much they mean to you and we will make sure they have a holiday of their own! I work from home for some of the week and also have family members who are available to help. Dogs can sit with the family in the evening for plenty of cuddles. I have a securely fenced garden and room for a crate if required. I have a small pug to keep your dog company. I will check your walking schedule with you beforehand and do a meet and greet ahead of time if desired.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life — from a high-energy Rhodesian Ridgeback-Boxer mix to a laid-back (but chew-happy) Golden Retriever, and three working Cocker Spaniels. I’ve also had cats, hamsters, horses ….animals have always been a big part of my day-to-day. Since moving into a flat, I really miss having a dog around. I work from home full-time, so I’ve got the flexibility and time to give them proper attention. I’ve looked after a range of different breeds and have a diploma in pet nutrition, so I’m confident caring for dogs with all kinds of needs. I spend most of my free time walking and hiking — luckily I live right next to a nature reserve, so your dog would get plenty of outdoor time. I’m looking forward to spending time with a four-legged friend again. I work from home full-time. Can look after dogs/ cats all day and walk regularly. Any weekday and weekends if given notice. Also available for holidays ! I have a large flat which is very dog and cat friendly. I understand this may not be ideal as no garden. However, I live next to a nature reserve which I walk in everyday. Also a keen hiker so can take on long walks at lunch or after work .

“Barbara and Frank obviously care about dogs. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They looked after our Boston Terrier. She was walked daily and had lots of exercise. She was happy and full of energy when we collected her. Frank and Barbara have a secure outdoor area which is ideal. A lovely couple that we are very grateful to and will definitely be seeking their assistance again.”
