About: Hi! I’m a Star Sitter here on Rover and have been walking dogs and caring for pets through the app for over a year now. In that time, I’ve built up a regular group of clients of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. Some of the dogs I care for need slow, shorter walks due to age or health issues, like arthritis. Others are high-energy or still in training, like the puppy I’ve walked who’s full of excitement and learning as she grows. I’ve learned to adjust my approach for each one to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ve also lived with and cared for cats my whole life. I currently have two of my own—both 8 years old—and one of them has anxiety, so I know how important it is to be patient and create a calm environment, especially for more sensitive pets. I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and routine. Whether your pet is nervous, energetic, senior, or still figuring things out, I’ll show up for them with care, consistency and kindness :) I am open to discussing ongoing care and how this may fit around both mine and your own lives. But most of all paying attention to what schedule your pet is used to. Before caring for your pet in your own home i will be sure to discuss the normal schedule this pet has with any specific needs or quirks your pet has to keep them as comfortable and happy as possible whilst they are in my care. I am also happy to accommodate any distance you dog needs walking and various exercise needs.

I’ve cared for three wonderful dogs: a 6-year-old Shepherd who visits me every two months for a week, a sweet Teddy who stayed with me for two weeks, and a playful 2-month-old puppy who I’ve showered with love and patience. About: I have always had dogs from being a child. I absolutely love having dogs in the house, especially when they like a cuddle! I understand the worry, of leaving a pet with a person you do not know and will treat them as if they were my own. I am loving, patient and calm. We live in a spacious semi detached with a secure back garden, five minutes away from the promenade. There is plenty of room for your dogs to roam around. I have experience with medical issues, particularly allergies and IVDD. I have a flexible schedule and between me and my partner, we will always make sure somebody is home to take care of your pets. I have a fenced back garden that is secure and safe! Pets are allowed every where we are, this house is their home whilst they are here.

About: Hi we are James and Hannah. We just adore animals, we’ve looked after a huge range in various homes around the country but we haven’t sat a reptile yet but I’m sure that will be ticked off soon! I (Jamie) have had 4 Border Collies, from pups to old age, once you know a Collie that gives you highly transferable skills to look after other breeds, plus Collies do develop your own 6th sense when it comes to dogs. Cats we know well and we know they are the boss! We are highly experienced and reviews from another pet platform will support this, more than happy to discuss this further if applicable. Pets are just so rewarding to look after whilst developing that bond and trust for in us is special. By only looking after animals in their own surroundings it’s comforting for them to have the security of their home. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 16 years old and have even been best friends with my animal obsessed best friend (now a qualified vet) for 11 years. I have joined her on work experience and have always loved animals. I have trained puppies and always had working dogs, so I am aware of the needs they have as well as older more quiet dogs. I have just left my teaching role to do full-time tutoring and would love to incorporate my love of animals and nature into my new routine. I treat my own pet (Sage) as my pride and joy and happily treat every animal. as I would treat him! I love seeing their different personalities and ensuring they're enriched. I always ensure that they are on lead, in safe areas and are checked after walking for any tics/cuts etc.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have a natural way with them. I had my mini dachshund, Cocktail, for 10 years and gave her all the love and care in the world. Friends, family and neighbours always ask me to look after their dogs while they’re away because they know I treat every pup like my own. I have a big house with plenty of space, a warm, welcoming environment and I live just by the prom so walks are no issue. Whether it’s walks, playtime or just lots of love, your dog will be in great hands with me I work for myself full-time from home, so I’m around almost all the time to care for your pup. I can provide plenty of attention, walks, and playtime throughout the day. Whether it’s daycare, boarding, or just a walk, your dog will always have company and care. My home is a warm and loving space with an enclosed back garden for safe outdoor time. I have my own dog, Cocktail, who sleeps in bed with me each night and loves having furry friends around. About: We have 30 years of experience owning our own dogs, starting with a rescue collie and currently owning a collie and a cocker spaniel, both of whom are friendly and enjoy playing with other dogs. We live close to a beach where we take our dogs for their daily walk and also have an enclosed garden so your dog will have lots of opportunity to play out. Your dogs will enjoy a home from home here, we have plenty of cosy places for them to snooze with lots of cuddles to help them settle and plenty of beaches and countryside for great walks. We both work from home so are here to care for all our dogs needs during the day. Our dogs are used to lots of walks, playtime and lots of cuddles during the day and your dog will be treated as one of our own. We have a two friendly dogs and two cats who enjoy our secure, enclosed garden. All our pets are allowed everywhere in the house and yours will be no exception, they will be welcomed as part of our family and cared for as if they are one of our own. About: I am a qualified professional Veterinary Physiotherapist (BSc 4 year degree) who has just qualified and moved to Lancaster. Animals are my passion in life, and improving their quality of life brings me great joy. I grew up on a farm surrounded by dogs (including a Great Dane, border collie, labradors, a basset and bull terrier), cats and horses. I volunteered at the Guide Dog Association as a puppy walker for 3 years, successfully socialising and training 3 Labrador puppies. I have volunteered in multiple rescue centers and have worked with a variety of breeds during clinics in my final year of university. As I specialised in canine physiotherapy, I spent four years learning about canine behaviour, health and welfare and strive to uphold the standards required by each to the best of my ability. As I am currently working part time, I would love to care for and love your beloved member of the family while being at home. “Mei is an absolute dream. She was a great communicator when setting up a trial sit. Very knowledgeable and calm re her experience with dogs, in fact as soon as I arrived at her home for the 1st time - my dog was wagging her tail and eager to greet Mei! She is usually very shy and sometimes crouches down with strangers, however not this time! She was really happy, trusting and not shy at all with Mei. Her children are so kind also and very calm, before long her daughter was stroking my pups belly which usually only happens with regular people she knows well! I received many lovely photos, Pupdates and even a video. Walkies went so well. Mei even has a cute dog mat which my pup lay down on. About: I had been volunteering in dogs shelters, wildlife centres for 2 years in order to improve my application for veterinary medicine. I have incorporated animal handlings skills which could be applied to dogs that require different levels of attention. Being a veterinary medicine student studying in University of Edinburgh have further trained me to handle your pets safely and providing them lots of fun. As I am a university student, my timetable changes depending on the week however I am generally available on the weekends. I will update my availability constantly to avoid confusion. It will be great if you could message me beforehand just in case of sudden change of schedule. I will spend plenty of time entertaining your pup and I can guarantee they will be in safe hands, as I have plenty of experience in walking larger breed dogs which have not been lead trained.

About: I’ve looked after my families dogs when they are away. Therefore I have lots of experience looking after pets and giving them the care that they deserve. Currently I am working during the day but I come home for an hour for lunch every week day. Then I am home from 4pm every day I have a fenced off garden for your dog to run around and play in. The house is pet safe with no little objects anywhere.
