She took great care of my wee cat while I was on holiday, sent photos of her, opened the windows while she was over, and watered my plants for me, so I could enjoy my time away without having to worry about my non-human family. I can only recommend Vanda’s services, and I will definitely book her again in the future :)”

About: My name is Lucy Vanderham and I am passionate about caring for all animals and I have a keen interest in animal welfare. I have recently been living in Australia working as a Scuba Diving Instructor, and supplementing my income doing pet sitting. Now I have moved back home to Scotland to pursue a career with animals. I have a year of experience doing paid pet sitting for cats, dogs, rabbits and hamsters - some of which with extra requirements such as separation anxiety, medication needs, mobility issues, and dietary restrictions. Prior to this I have over a year of voluntary experience with animals. I volunteered in Australia with a local stray dog charity, helping to walk and provide enrichment to dogs as well as with cleaning and feeding. During lockdown in Scotland I also walked many local dogs through BorrowMyDoggy. Further, I worked at the Queensferry aquarium and learnt a lot about animal husbandry in general. Lastly, I have two Bengal cats of my own, whom I love very much. They have given me a lot of experience in animal care due to their high energy, intelligence and defiance! I follow instructions well, I am reliable, and I care deeply for animals, so you can have peace of mind that your family member will be in great hands. My schedule is very flexible since I study part-time. I can be available for long periods of time as well as one day requests. Happy to help over weekend and during holidays. I will follow your instructions for pet care as you know your baby best. I have a natural rapport with animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them to learn their habits and preferences. I have undertaken two online modules focusing on animal behaviour and animal welfare in order to understand their non-verbal communication and provide tailored care.

About: I have been around dogs from the day I was born. I love looking after them and welcome the opportunity to meet more. Your dog will be looked after to your exact specifications, and at the least walked once a day. They will either be walked around a park or taken to the countryside depending on their recall. I also like taking my own dog to dog parks to train and run around free from worry that they could disappear. If you want your dog to have an extra long walk, or taken for a run then please ask. Licensed by P&K Council Insured Dog first aid certificate from NARPS-UK This is my only job so I am able to provide 24hr a day care for your dog. They will only be left in the house when I have to go out to the shop or the gym, a maximum of 2hrs. If I have an event on I might be out of the house for 4-5hrs but I will let you know before the booking is confirmed to see if your dog will be okay with this. I have a small fenced garden for the dogs to use as a bathroom. I have 3yr old terrier who is happy with other dogs in the house. While my dog has some strict rules, ie not begging when I eat, she is allowed on the furniture, and the bed. I will, of course, follow any rules you have for your pet, but if they are allowed on the sofa/furniture they will feel at home with me. I have an extra large crate to accommodate any dogs that need it to save you bringing your own, and a large dog bed.

About: My name is Ariane and I am a 26 year old actor who absolutely loves animals! I have volunteered at animal shelters in the past, walking and feeding many dogs at once and I regularly dog sit for my family members. I am confident at giving any medication as through the years my pets have been on several types (pills and liquid), I know lots of little tips and tricks! I also have experience with senior dogs, having looked after our first family dog until the very end❤️ My family 4 year old cockapoo is so friendly, happy and loves to play with both humans and dogs. I am always happy to give it and never run out of time for her :) I am clean and reliable and love making new furry friends (so does my dog Koda!) I’m an actor so my schedule goes from being completely free to being away for work dependant on the job but I keep my Calender up to date always:) I love going out for long walks and am very used to throwing lots of balls! I also love setting up games at home, such as treat puzzles. And of course cuddling up to watch tv. I will try keep their schedule to exactly how you do it, to keep the pet comfortable and happy and also mean everything is the same when you return!

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I take pride in looking after animals, and know how important our fur babies are to us. I have spent time with many dogs, some of which have required extra care, compassion and patience due to their complex needs (rescue dogs). I love to get to know the dog on an individual level so I can adapt my approach to fit their needs and put them at ease. I do ask to meet clients with their pet prior to making arrangements to ensure I am the right fit for you and your dog. I work a Monday to Friday as a nurse. Happy to cover walks at weekends or if you require evening walks I can offer this too. With winter months approaching I'm happy to take your dog for a walk in evenings, especially if you are less able to do so yourself. If you need someone just to pop in and spend time with older dogs I'm happy to do so. I stay in a house, with secure garden. I own an indoor cat, Kai, who is very affectionate. My last dog, who sadly passed earlier this year, was full of love and energy, and enjoyed walks to lots of places, including forests and beaches. Quality of the walk and time spent is worth more the distance it takes to get there.

About: Hi, I’m Chloe. I love all animals and looking for a way to spend my free time and thought this would be perfect. I have my own dog and have experience of taking care of other friends and families dogs. I’m currently a uni student and work part time so looking for a way to spend some of my free time, Im available a lot of the time during week days and some weekends. When caring for dogs whether in my own home or an owner, I treat every dog like my own and prioritise the dogs safety, routine and care.

About: I've cared for animals most of my life, with years of experience raising cats and the past two years spent with my energetic and loving dog. I've also regularly looked after pets for family and friends, including dogs, cats, and small animals. I'm comfortable with a variety of temperaments and routines, and I always treat every pet like they're my own — with patience, love, and lots of attention. I’m currently at uni and work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule that lets me fit in pet care around my classes and shifts. Whether it’s popping in for visits, going on walks, or spending extra time with your pet, I can usually adjust my routine to suit what works best for you and your furry friend. When I’m pet sitting in someone else’s home, I always make sure to treat it with the same care and respect as I do the pets. I follow your routines closely, keep things tidy, and make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own space while you're away.

About: I have cared for dogs since I was young. I walked and cared for family pets and have helped with friend's dogs while they are on holiday. Being able to sit in your own home too. I have a fenced garden when caring for dogs in my own home and while caring for others pets at their home I am a member of the PVG scheme and have house sat before so have good references.

About: I live on a farm and have been around animals all my life from farm animals like cows to small mammals like gerbils. In the past I have had a cat and currently have 2 Labrador dogs. I am caring and responsible and have had experience looking after other peoples dogs. When I was younger I trained my now 9 year old as a puppy and thoroughly enjoyed it. I work in Perth and Crieff on a part time basis in Hotels so would be able to visit and spend time with your dog in Crieff or Perth at least twice a day and even more if necessary. I am heading off to St Andrews University in September of this year. I would give your dog exciting different walks every time I visit and I would spend time playing with your dog and check he/she has all their requirements they need daily.

About: I have had pets since i was born - dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, fish etc. I have always connected really well with dogs and enjoy spending as much time as i possibly can with them! I did puppy training classes with my dog when she was a puppy - she is 7 now. I don’t know life without a dog! Please ask for any other specific animal care experience. I am currently working part-time so have a gap to fill in my week which dog walking/pet care would fit into perfectly! A Monday and Friday I spend all day at home. I love to be outside in nature but also love a cuddle on the couch! I would not let a dog i don’t know off a lead. Animals can be unpredictable and until i build up trust i would never take any risks.
