“This is the second time I have used Mark's services to take care of my pets and both times he has kept me updated with pictures and messages about the boys. Thank you Mark!”

About: I have been bought up around lots of animals, especially dogs, big and small. Recently I have bought home a new addition to the family, a miniature dachshund- Ralphie, He is now five months old. I have been training with him every minute we have and attend puppy classes every Saturday, allowing him to learn new skills and socialise with other puppies I do work full-time, Monday to Friday, however, I am available and flexible in the evenings and weekends to help and care for your fur baby/babies. I have a fenced off back garden and a small doggy for your fur baby to play with! Plenty of toys and snuffle matts to keep them stimulated and busy! I do also have a crate- only if your furry friend is crate trained!! I am able to come into new environments calmly and slowly introduce myself to new furry friends! Making sure to respect boundaries and safe spaces!

“We asked Laura to step in at the last moment while we were on holiday - and luckily she was able to help. She was really flexible and friendly. One of the cats needed a tablet twice a day. Laura came, gave the tablet and checked in, checked water ( and petted) our 3 cats. She left helpful comments and took good pictures to reassure us that all was well. Thanks Laura. Would recommend Laura and use her again.”

About: I’m an experienced in-your-home pet and house-sitter (day and night) which I enjoy and love to do at the same time! Read on to find out more about me and see if I’m a good match for you! I’ve been lucky to have pets to love and care for all my life and having a pet is something I really miss (I cannot have a pet of my own due to my home tenancy being “no pets”). After taking early retirement I am not ready to slow down and this means I have lots of time and love to give! I find the love and affection from pets so rewarding and this is why in the absence of my own I decided to become a pet-sitter - starting out with sitting for friends and family and expanding from there. My pets have been dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters - and not forgetting two very vocal budgies and lots of tropical fish! Two of my beloved dogs were rescues and the breeds/cross-breeds have been from Corgis to German Shepherds, Labradors and mixed breeds. I do have in my life a delightful - and cheeky - Mini Dachshund “grand-pup”! I’ve cared for dogs of various other breeds and many animals with different needs - young, old, small, large, cross-breed, rescue, pedigree and those with medical conditions and special and / or senior needs. I’ve also looked after many cats (indoor and outdoor) and other pets. I’d love you to check out my photo gallery of my own precious pets and those that I’ve cared for. I have no work commitments but I do the occasional craft fair and enjoy visiting friends and family. I have lots of availability throughout the whole week. I offer pet sitting for the day, evenings and overnight. I’m an in-your-home pet-sitter, I will travel to you and look after your pet in your home - and also look after your home at the same time. I can ensure that your dog gets lots of stimulation and movement within your home space and garden. I will never leave your dog alone in your home unless you specify that this is OK and normal for them. I know how hard it can be to trust someone with your beloved pet and know very well how special and very unique the needs of pets can be - I want to reassure you there is no silly request or need I won’t understand. With lots of house-sitting under my belt, I pride myself in how I treat other’s homes and precious things like their pets and home security. I am happy to spend time introducing myself and getting to know you and your pets and to travel to you. I am flexible to your needs and how you like communication to be - happy to follow all guidelines and requirements for your pets and home and to send you updates and photos as regularly as you’d like. "Qualifications and checks" Clear and recent DBS check Personal insurance cover above Rover’s insurance provision (Currently obtaining Canine First Aid Certified and Comprehensive)

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with plenty of hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities. I grew up with a big Bouvier des Flandres, and now I regularly look after my parents two golden doodles whilst they are away. I also regularly care for my brother’s speedy little Whippet, so I’m confident handling both gentle giants and high-energy breeds. Whether your dog loves long walks, cuddles on the sofa, or a bit of playtime and structure, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m patient, observant, and treat every dog like they’re my own. I also understand that every dog has their quirks, so I’ll always follow your instructions carefully and keep you updated with photos and messages. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust so please drop me and message and let’s chat to see if I’m a good fit for your pup. 🐾 I am currently freelance and usually work 2–3 days a week, so I have the flexibility to fit this in on the days I’m not booked. I have a secure garden and my dogs are extremely friendly and love when other dogs visit. I also live next to a huge park perfect for walks.

About: I've had dogs since I was 9 years old and have always found a lot of joy in taking care of and spending time with them. Since I was about 15 years old I have regularly and independently walked and cared for my own dog, while also sometimes caring for friends' dogs. I also have experience volunteering at Blue Cross Animal Shelter, working with both dogs and cats. I work in a school in the week but I am available after school hours, at weekends, and in the school holidays so can cover the most high demand times for dog walking and house sitting. I will make sure I ask plenty of questions and am fully confident in the needs of your dog before I walk or sit them. I will spend plenty of time with them and create both a fun and calming environment, never letting them get bored and providing them with attention they need while you're away.

About: being known as the “ animal one “ of the family my whole life definitely was a great resume for my 12 year old self to start walking, sitting and taking care of dogs. Although i would say my dog experince is 21 years, due to me growing up with dogs as a constant in my house hold, technically from an employee perspective, it’s 8, coming on to 9 years. This time frame working with various breeds, allowed me to gain confidence to go volunteer at a dog rescue shelter in Zagreb, Croatia, which houses over 500 dogs of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds. This experince allowed me to further learn how to work with dogs that need more care and patience, and to truly hands on learn how the care that is provided directly impacts both the dogs future and present. i have just finished my final year of uni so luckily this means my pervious uni timetable is no longer an issue and i can finally look after animals whilst doing no work, like before, but now guilt free ! i understand how important a animals routine and enviroment is, and how it is their territory before it is ever mine, and therefore i will make sure to listen to routine and implement it, and also respect how the animal wants to behave in its home, whilst keeping them safe and secure.

About: I have grown up with large dogs from a young age. I have owned dogs for the past 20 years. I am happy to roll around and play with your dog on the floor but I can also take you dog for a run. I currently have a 11 year Bichon Frise who I've had from a puppy. He gets along with dog but maybe little bit nervous at first I have a professional job which I work away. This also means I am also home alot. Everyone will have my full attention when I am home and will never be left alone. I live in a flat with a large green area out the front. My flat is pet safe and treat any animal that comes here like my own.

About: Very protective, will save insects. One of my favourite things to do when taking care of pets is to take them on days out and visit different dog friendly places with them. Lots of walks, we have a cemetery a couple minutes walk away so it makes a great place to be for all types of dogs due to the lead only rule. They will receive lots of love and attention, a dog’s happiness will be my top priority. You will receive lots of photos and updates throughout their stay, that is something very important to me to provide for you. - I lock in prices so if my fees are to go up in the future they will always remain at the original price for you. I have a flexible work schedule, I am able to check my dates and hours to ensure you are aware of my schedule because you’ll know best when it comes to your dog before we are all happy to continue you will be met with complete honesty. I will like to know your routine to keep it as similar as I can. My routine is to usually take dogs out for a walk almost immediately as I find they're at much more ease after a walk - I find it helps distract them from any possible separation anxiety and forms a bond and trust towards me.

About: Ever since before I could walk, I was surrounded by animals. I grew up on a farm with cats, dogs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, guinea-pigs, goats, horses and every other animal you can imagine. I spent all my childhood training horses and trained our dogs in all the basics. If your pet has any special requirements, please let me know and if you need any help with training I am more than happy to assist. My current job means I'm not able to have the time for a pet of my own so I am looking to open my heart to help others and give your pet an abundance of care and affection. I love to hike and be outdoors so your pet will get all the exercise you would like them to have and lots hugs and affection. I currently work from home two days a week and am free most weekends. I am also available most evenings but this can be discussed on a case by case basis. I have a large two bedroom flat in the town centre. There are other pets on the same floor. Your pet will have full access around the flat and I can take them for regular potty breaks as well as a lunchtime and evening walk. If your pet is with me on the weekend I often go hiking, so please be aware of this and if this is not suitable for your pet please let me know. If I do take your dog out hiking and they get muddy I'm more than happy to give them a bath/shower afterwards as long as you advise if they have any skin allergies etc. If your pet has any medical requirements etc I'm more than happy to discuss this on a case by case basis.

She takes the time to learn each pet’s personality, routines, and quirks, and she makes sure they always feel safe and cared for. When Emily looks after my pets, I have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. My pets absolutely adore her, and it’s easy to see why.”

Karen R.
“Karen is really great with our little dog and he loves her. She is excellent at looking after him the way that we look after him, making sure he sticks to his routine, gets the right food/treats/medicine as required, plays with him and keeps him entertained and, best of all from his point of view, provides plenty of cuddles and affection. Karen has always looked after our dog in our house, and we absolutely could not be happier with the way she looks after it like it was her own. Always clean and tidy, and takes care of everything while we are away. Absolutely recommend!”

He goes above & beyond to care for dogs nothing is too much trouble & they are always his top priority my 3 Labradors adore him & always have a playful tussle when he sees them! His attention to detail on dogs care & walking is exemplary. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others as I know he would always be brilliant with their dogs. “I had the absolute pleasure of leaving my 7-month-old whippet in Amelia’s care for two weeks, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear she’s a true dog enthusiast—attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly loving. Throughout his stay, I received regular, thoughtful updates filled with photos, stories, and little details that showed just how well he was doing and how much fun he was having. It made me feel totally at ease knowing he was not only safe, but genuinely happy. Amelia treated him like one of her own, and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, caring, and enthusiastic dog sitter. She’s a gem!”
