“I’ve never employed a sitter for my lovely hairy girls before. I’m with them all the time and they can have terrible separation anxiety. Amy is very calm and sensible. I had numerous reassuring messages from Amy throughout the day and pictures of my 2 happy dogs. I came in to find them happy with lights left on for them so that if I arrived home after dark, they wouldn’t be left in a dark room. So pleased with Amy, really lovely girl. Trustworthy and kind. It’s all you need! Happy dogs, happy owner.”

“Stephanie took care of Scout for 8 days. During my holiday she sent regular updates, photos and videos to let me know how he was doing. When I returned the house was clean and she had even changed the bedding for me knowing that I would be tired after a long journey - which was not expected! I would definately recommend Stephanie :)”

“Tzarina was an incredible cat and house sitter. She sent us photos and updates regularly and went above and beyond to make sure that Mathilda was cared for. Would highly recommend her as a pet sitter and am looking forward to asking her to cat sit again in the near future.”

About: Hello, I’m Vicky and I live in Bexhill with my family including 2 cats and 2 dogs. I am animal crazy and if it wasn’t for my husband I would have rescued a house full of animals by now! For a time I volunteered doing home visits for an animal charity looking to re-home dogs and that’s how we ended up with 2 dogs despite my husband saying ‘no’ and then falling in love with them :) From childhood I have always had animals including cats, dogs, tortoise, horses, birds and at one point I had 10 cats under my roof. One of my cats is mostly a home-body and has a completely different type of personality to her brother, who is typically outside rat catching and hardly ever indoors. My female suffered a broken leg around ten years ago now and for months I had to care for her and the difficulties she had with mobility. To us our animals are like extra children, our dogs sleep on our bed and if we don't take them on holiday with us I get a family member to come house and animal sit. I can't put our pets into cages/kennels for us to have a holiday! I do part time courier work in Ninfield and Hooe which I love as I get to meet everyone and their pets. I have my favourite dogs, horses and cats on my rural route and seeing them always makes my day. I have plenty of time for pet sitting around home-schooling my daughter for short pop-in’s or longer stays for company and play whichever is preferred. I am of course happy to clean litter trays and feed and brush your cat/dog and stay overnight if needed at times. I am available some days of the week to be in the home all day if required but other days I work around 3 hours doing deliveries. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member :) I am currently working part-time doing courier work, this is only 3 afternoons a week around some home help and pet sitting work. Hopefully soon I will be doing school runs at 8:30 and 2:30 and stopping home-schooling. My courier work I can fit around my life rather than the other way around so I can build my days around the needs of pet sitting. I don’t want to disrupt my animals in their home as I’m sure you don’t, so I tend to offer overnights at customers homes rather than my own, so I don’t offer boarding. An animal will be happier in their own environment where they feel safe and I listen to the owner and fit around the needs of the pet. I have an enhanced DBS and reviews from past owners, but I am always happy to meet to ensure I’m the right person and that an owner can have confidence in me when leaving their animals in my care resulting in as little worry as possible. I also send regular videos and photos for reassurance.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life — from dogs and cats to rabbits, guinea piggies, hamsters, and even the occasional goldfish. 🐾 Growing up, there was never a time when our home wasn’t shared with a furry (or sometimes fluffy!) friend. I’ve cared for: Dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities — from tiny terriers to big gentle giants. Cats — playful kittens, independent seniors, and everything in between. Small animals — rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters who needed gentle handling and daily care. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with: Feeding routines and portion control for different breeds. Giving medication (both oral and topical). Puppy care — toilet training, playtime, and basic commands. Senior pet care — gentle walks, extra comfort, and plenty of patience. Understanding pet body language to keep them happy, safe, and stress-free. I'm flexible at the moment. Whilst I do have other commitments my calendar will reflect that when I'm available to look after your furry friend/s!. Whilst I do not currently have the means to looking after your pets in my own home - I do the travelling to you - so your pet gets to stay in their own home comforts whilst being spoiled which goes without saying.

About: I am an experienced house and pet sitter which I have been doing for several years purely for my love of animals and helping others. John is a volunteer at Barby Keel animal sanctuary where he primarily looks after the dogs. House and pet sitting is something Nancy has more previous experience so can do it solo but feels more comfortable with the help and company from John who hasn’t yet got the house sitting experience but has years of knowledge and experience with dogs and other animals I am at the beginning of my new career as a dried floral artist which allows me to work for homes and will give me the freedom I need to do this while John likes the outdoors and exploring new places I follow all guidance and instructions from owners and make sure each pet and the house is maintained to a high standard of care and love.

“We left our cockapoo with Helen for our wedding weekend and could not recommend her highly enough! Helen was so good with our dog and went above and beyond what we had hoped for! She came to meet our dog before looking after her, bought her to our wedding for photos and gave us constant updates. We really felt that our dog was in safe hands with Helen!”

“Lauren did a fantastic job of looking after our two cats while we were away. She was conscientious, reliable and excellent at keeping us updated and responding to messages. The cats had the companionship they needed and Lauren made every effort to maintain their daily routine. Our cats were very comfortable with her and were more than happy to get their cuddles, brushes and strokes from her right from the start. We came home to happy, healthy cats, a clean and tidy house and were able to enjoy a worry free trip. Lauren comes highly recommended!”

“Paul was kind and thoughtful, and although he was quite new to dog sitting he really took things in his stride despite being outside his comfort zone at times. He was respectful to us as owners and very patient with our dog who can sometimes be a handful. He did an overnight sit in our house and left the place as he found it. Paul was very honest and communicative at all times and really worked hard to ensure he did the best job he possibly good!”

Vicky B.
“Helen (commonly known as Vicky!) always has the welfare of animals uppermost in her mind; be that in the gentle care of her own or the joyous interaction with other people's animals, as well as the myriad of wildlife encountered on the road or in the neighbourhood. She is proactively thoughtful for the care and wellbeing of all animals (the only person I've seen releasing houseflies back into the wild!) and always makes sure that her pets and those in her charge are fed, watered, comfortable, fussed over and loved - a thoughtful and true animal lover and caregiver who comes highly recommended.”

Gemma A.
“Gemma has been an absolute blessing for my pets — and for me! She has looked after my cat, dog, and even my hamster with so much love and care that I never worry when I’m away. My cat is usually shy with new people, but she warmed to Gemma almost instantly. My dog adores their walks together, and my hamster’s little cage is always spotless and well-stocked. It’s clear that Gemma treats each animal as an individual, giving them the attention and affection they need. I can’t recommend her highly enough — she’s reliable, kind, and truly passionate about animals.”
