“My dog is quite anxious and can be a (noisy) handful but Heather was very patient and understanding. She spent the whole day with her and took her out walking twice despite the hideous weather. I received lots of lovely reassuring photos. I'm sure subsequent visits will be easier and quieter (please god!) for Heather once Rosy has got used to having someone new in her domain. Thank you for stepping in to help out when we really needed a capable and reliable sitter.”

“Klaudia was great with Bailey - we did a meet and greet before the booking and I could tell he really liked her! She was also amazing at putting my mind at ease when I was nervous about leaving him with someone for the first time, sent lots of pictures through and did everything I asked during the sitting! Will definitely book her again. Thanks so much!! X”

“Naira stayed with our dog when we had to travel for work and was absolutely wonderful. Poppy typically is a bit nervous when we are gone, but she seemed immediately very calm and relaxed with Naira. She was super quick to respond and sent us lots of photos updates while we were gone which put our mind at ease. Would totally recommend her.”

“Pinar took care of Bean while I was away for Christmas. She is very organised and easy to communicate with. She also sent me pictures (as requested) of a very chill Bean throughout her stay. I came back to a happy cat and a clean flat :)”

About: I grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals and have been pet sitting dogs and cats for over a decade. I have significant experience with high-energy breeds that need extra stimulation, like Border Collies and Shelties, as well as anxious pets and dogs with separation anxiety. I'm comfortable administering oral and topical medications to non-reactive pets. I do this daily for my own cat, who has kidney disease and requires a prescription diet. That experience also means I'm well-versed in senior pet care and managing special dietary needs. I treat every pet as an individual and make it my priority to keep their routine as normal as possible while their owners are away. I know that owners miss their pets while traveling and am happy to send as many pet pics as you would like! Because I work remotely, my schedule is highly flexible and pet care fits naturally into my day. I'm able to offer visits throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening, and I'm not restricted to before and after a typical 9-5. This means I can accommodate last-minute requests, more frequent check-ins, and pets who need extra attention or company throughout the day. I believe pets are always most comfortable in their own environment, which is why I visit pets in their own home rather than bringing them into an unfamiliar space. I respect owners' homes and routines. I follow your pet's established schedule for feeding, walks, and medications to keep everything as normal as possible. I'm experienced with secure handling of pets during visits, including those who may try to dart out of doors. Communication is always a priority. You'll receive regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in safe hands.

“Bronwen has looked after Jilly several times, so well in fact that Jilly is mostly indifferent when we come home! We book Bronwen for overnight stays and get detailed updates on what she’s been up to with Jilly each day. Highly recommend!”

“Ria was so good with our puppy Stevie. It was our first time leaving her and Ria went out of her way to reassure us by sending photo updates and messaging through the day. Stevie loved her and was so relaxed when we came home so I could tell she was happy!😊 ❤️”

“Another very successful overnight stay with Emily! Thank you so much. Emily always takes great care of our 8 month old golden retriever (and our house!). Super reliable and trustworthy, lots of photos and updates and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks so much Emily. Would highly recommend her for walking and dog sitting”

“Absolutely brilliant experience. From the get go we felt very secure with Melissa. My dog was so happy to see her from the first moment. And I got lots of pictures and updates so that I could enjoy my evening with peace of mind. Couldn’t have been more polite and would 100% use again. Highly recommended.”

About: Hello there! My name is Danielle, and I adore all pets, no matter their size or age. As an experienced pet sitter, you can trust me to take excellent care of your beloved furry family member. I absolutely love spending time with dogs and taking them on exciting adventures. Growing up, my mother used to dog-sit for a living, so our house was always full of different breeds of dogs ranging from Bernese mountain, German shepherd, labradoodles, pugs, basset hound, Great Dane & Jack Russell's . I have extensive experience taking care of Labradors and Cockapoos, having looked after them for weeks at a time. I work from home four days a week, I'm an early riser so I can be available to take your pet out first thing, lunchtime or evening - or all three (I love nature and the fresh air) whichever is best suited for you and your dog's needs As I'm such a dog lover, you can guarantee that I will give your pet my undivided attention (as much as they want it). I like to make sure your pet gets enough exercise and social interaction on walks and always has fresh water along with their food routine. I also understand the importance of different dietary requirements!
“James did a great job housesitting for us and taking care of our dog and cat. He had no problem administering our cat’s insulin injections as well. The flat was in great shape when we returned and we’re planning on having James sit for us again in the near future.”

“Baldwin is always delighted to see Daysee and they clearly have a good time together. She understands dogs and describes what he is doing in a way that helps me a lot, since he is my first dog.”

About: Since day one I’ve been in company of animals, there was always a pet in my house back home. Since I’ve moved abroad, I’ve been taking care of my friends pets while they’re away, doing that I’ve found in pet sitting a way to be in the presence of a pet, a passion and a second income while I enjoy the company of a pet and you can be relax about your paw friend. Besides my life of experience I did a course from New Skills Academy to give some credibility to some new and old knowledge I’ve work as a barista during the morning full time, since my clock out is during the afternoon, I’ve got plenty time to visit a pet, or walk a dog, and even house sitting during my work days and days off Unfortunately I cannot house sit because one of my current flatmate has a cat that has access to the garden and is very territorial x

Haringey pet owners share their Rover experiences
Bailey came to stay at our place with our dog Callie for a few days whilst we were off getting married. She was super friendly from the beginning and showed her love and affection for dogs from the start. She gave us lots of lovely updates and pictures whilst we were away and really took care of our girl and our home so well. I couldn’t recommend her more and I’d book her again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Bailey xxx

Laura was so lovely and helped us out with last minute daytime care - looking after our 4 month old puppy Rupert! She was calm, warm and very capable. Sent lots of pictures, which was really appreciated during our first Rover experience. Will definitely book again. Thank you Laura! Rose and Rupert x

Harry was an impeccably patient and professional dog-sitter during our week away, helping keep our anxious dog company and making him as comfortable as possible in our absence. He updated us regularly on Woolly's well-being and our home was in spotless condition when we returned. We will definitely be asking him to dogsit again in the future!

This is the 2nd year we asked Tim to look after our baby boy . When Santi saw Tim there was a wiggly tail and a big greeting. Tim updated us with pictures and ensured us that Santi is well looked after . Looking forward to have Tim looking after Santi next year

Bronwen was fantastic with Jilly as always! Jilly always takes some time to warm up, but Bronwen is patient and kind with her and eventually Jilly is happy for snuggles. Bronwen had some extra work cut out for her with Jilly's strict diet rations and medicine but she worked it all out perfectly. Jilly took to sleeping where Bronwen had been once she left, so safe to say she enjoyed her time with her as always, and missed her after she left! Always highly recommended!

Natasha was a fantastic house and cat sitter. She was really easy going and low maintenance and gave me updates on our cat who was a little more bonkers than usual because of the heat staying out most of the time, but it was reassuring to hear from Natasha that she'd popped in and out. Natasha left the house spotless. We had a relaxing holiday knowing the cat and house were in safe hands.

Megan watched our dog in our flat over a long weekend, as well as our garden. Megan was great, sending us photos of our dog and garden several times a day, replying promptly, following our dog’s specific needs and schedule. The flat was left clean, the plants survived the hot weekend and the dog was happy :)

Beccy stepped in to help at the eleventh hour after I’d been let down by another sitter and my puppy instantly warmed to her! She’s super experienced and confident which put me at ease as I knew she’d take such good care of Stevie. I was sent photo and video updates through the day and she even driver her to new parks out of our area which was so nice for our puppy. We came home to a very relaxed and well looked after dog! Thanks Beccy! X

Kotryna was the perfect house sitter. Feeding and administering the various medications that our very elderly cat needs was done with no problems. It was good to leave our cat in the hands of someone so capable and sensible. She is also a lovely and thoughtful person who obviously really loves cats and she was very kind to our cat. I would definitely recommend Kotryna and would use her again without hesitation.

Gemma was very attentive to our elderly cat's needs and unfazed by his various requirements, including specific grooming instructions and his various medications. She spent a good length of time understanding his needs on the meet and greet. Gemma sent daily updates about our cat at our request and left our flat extremely clean and tidy. Thank you Gemma!
