About: Over the years with big family, I've grown up with lots of pets, such as cats, dogs, rabbits, geckos. This has led to me taking up pet sitting and dog walking over the years part time to keep me involved with pets. Animals tend to take a liking to me and vice versa. I am well skilled in understanding the temperament of animals and how to navigate their moods. For personal circumstances stances right now I am not in place to have my own pets but definitely will when the time permits of it, hence rover and looking to be around animals as much as possible! I genuinely love animals and the outdoors and feel rover is a great place to offer my services for the busy working animal mums and dads who need additional help. A day in care with me would be as close to a normal day for your pet as possible, following your guidelines and routine. Including of course, lots of interaction, play, attention and love, whether it’s a walk, sit, or quick drop in to check up and fill up their bowls! Currently my work schedule is extremely flexible which allows me to use this platform for additional purposes. I am an active person in general and usually go for long works everyday regardless. I now and then check on cats for family members during the week from time to time. Pet care is essential and I do my best to ensure a safe environment for pets when in my personal care or adhering to the owners environment, schedule and daily habits / routines to keep things as normal, safe and as fun as possible for your pets. Engagement, interaction, attention and care are all key for me which your pet can expect!

Growing up, my mother ran a dog-sitting business, so our home was always full of furry visitors. Over the years I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds including Labradors, Cockapoos, German Shepherds, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Great Danes, Pugs, Basset Hounds, Jack Russells and many more. About: I grew up caring for a rescue dog who had been abandoned and was anxious around people and loud noises. This taught me how to handle dogs (especially nervous and sensitive ones) patiently, and recognise stress signals early to give dogs the time and space they need to feel safe. I also volunteered at animal shelters when I was younger, helping care for dogs with a range of temperaments and needs. Building trust through patience and consistency was incredibly rewarding and made me love dogs so much more. I am now living in London as a student without my own dog, and genuinely miss the companionship pets bring. I’m more than happy to give your dogs my full attention, care, and affection! I'm currently studying for the Bar and my Masters and am typically at home studying around 5 days a week, which allows me to give pets plenty of companionship and supervision throughout the day. I take regular breaks by going out on walks or errands such as grocery runs, so I'm able to comfortably incorporate exercise and outdoor time for your pets if needed! Because of my studies, my routine is flexible to fit each pet's usual schedule, including feeding times, walks and any specific care instructions. I provide personalised, one-on-one care and attention for every dog in my home to ensure they receive plenty of individual care. Occasionally, a boarding stay may overlap with a daycare booking. In these situations, I always carefully inform owners in advance, and can keep dogs separate if needed. I prioritise making pets feel comfortable in their own home and respect household routines as communicated. During walks, I keep dogs on lead unless otherwise instructed and ensure their wellbeing at all times. I also communicate regularly with updates and photos, and I'm always happy to discuss any specific needs or preferences in advance.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10, starting with my uncle’s and grandmother’s dogs. I had a Yorkshire Terrier for about 10 years and later looked after her puppies for a few months. I’ve been actively dog-sitting for several months here in London, and I absolutely love spending time with dogs, playing with them, and keeping them entertained. I enjoy walking and spending time outdoors, especially with dogs. I have experience caring for puppies, older dogs, and even handling more than two dogs at once, and dogs with needs. About: I have owned dogs since I was 10 years old and have experience dealing with a wide array of breeds and temperaments. Growing up in the Irish countryside, we had high-energy boarder collies (5 over the years) who needed a lot of stimulation and exercise throughout the day. My partner James and I now live in London with our Labrador-Spaniel cross, Tayto, who is 5 years old. We have a big flat 2 minutes walk from Finsbury Park where we take him most days to play ball, sniff out interesting smells and run around. We're also close to Clissold Park, Chestnuts Park, The Parkland Walk and Woodbury Wetlands so there are plenty of options for outdoor activities at any given time of the day! Tayto was crate trained as a puppy so we are comfortable working with dogs who follow the same routine, however he is now allowed on the furniture and your dog will be too! We are very comfortable with all breeds and needs and look forward to meeting your four legged friend and getting to know them better. If your dog prefers more solo time, we can take pick them up at your home and drop them back, however for any dog-sitting in our home, they will need to be happy around our dog Tayto who is medium sized (22kg). I work from home at least 3-4 days per week and my partner James is at home for the other 2 days of the working week so there is always someone around. We have pretty flexible schedules so just let us know what your needs are and we can accommodate as much as possible. We are currently only accepting requests Monday-Friday but there is potential to accept weekend requests on a case by case basis in the future. Important: If staying in our home your dog dog must be comfortable being around another medium sized dog. We have a 5yr old labrador/spaniel cross called Tayto who we take out for walks 3 x per day so your dog will have plenty of opportunities for exercise. We crate trained Tayto from 8 weeks old (though he now sleeps in his bed/on the sofa) so are comfortable sticking to that routine if needed for your pet. We can administer medication and are very familiar with using various mental stimulation methods for dogs who are particularly high-energy and need more than just a walk/ball thrown for them!

About: I have grown up around dogs and my family has had everything from chihuahuas and retrievers to spaniels and staffies. I am naturally very good with animals and am able to care for dogs of all sizes and needs. I have done dog sitting regularly since I was 12 for family friends and neighbours and I am very well trusted to do so. A little bit of info about me, we have a family Siberian husky in whom I absolutely adore & has allowed me to understand body language and dog behaviour and genuinely read what they require. My main approach is just being able to provide a lot love and attention! with the daily walks if needed. Although my husky now lives with my parents since I’ve recently moved out, that experience has given me a strong understanding of what your pet may need to feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I’d like to continue providing that care to other pets, as it's such a warming experience. I have also done nursing, so I am happy to adiminstrate medication if required. I’m currently working from home / part time. So I am Flexible. I go into the office on Mondays, though this can change. If you let me know what days and times you need, I can check my schedule and will usually be able to accommodate if it aligns. Please provide enough notice as this helps to ensure my availability is free I provide calm, attentive care. About: I've taken care of my grandma's and dad's dogs for a few years before moving to London. I have a cat who doesn't get along with dogs, therefore I'd like to spend more time with dogs, as I miss them a lot! I can do drop-in around my work schedule and walks at the weekend. I have 15 years experience with cats, please feel free to ask any questions. I work in the office Monday to Friday 9.00-18.00 and I can fit in drop-in visits before and after work. I am available flexibily throughout the weekend for both drop-in and walks. I'm very happy to help tidying up the house during drop-in visits (collecting mail, watering plants, emptying the bins, etc.) and to send you daily updates of your furry friends (photos, videos, emails, etc.).
