16. Rachel R.
About: Hi! I’m Rachel, I’m a researcher at Oxford University but luckily I work remotely 4 days a week (Mon, Wed-Fri), so I have a lot of time in London where I could hang out with your pet while you’re at work or out of town. I had several cats when I was growing up and I adored them all. I also had my own working cocker spaniel called Florence (in most of my pictures). Florence was a sweetheart but also had a very nervous disposition, so I am experienced with some of the most difficult aspects of taking care of a pet! Despite her anxiety, I loved her dearly and made sure she had the most fun and relaxing life possible. Happy to chat about your pets needs if you are interested in me as a sitter 😽 I work from home 4 out of 5 days a week usually, and I go to Oxford on Tuesdays, meaning I have plenty of time to hang with the cats and dogs who don’t appreciate much solitude! I like to give pets their space and let them lead the way. I know that some cats and dogs don’t appreciate too much fuss and stroking, but if they come to me for pats then I’ll know they are interested. In terms of walking, food, medication and sleeping, I just keep them to their usual routine.
