About: At my family house I have Florence, an 8 year old golden doodle, and Dolly, a 19 year old tabby cat. I miss them a lot living in London, Florence often comes to stay or I house sit them at my family home in Kent as my parents travel frequently but I would love some more furry friends to make my walks and work from home a little less lonely (I work from home twice a week). I also volunteered at Blue Cross veterinary centre in 2023, cleaning down the kennels in the outpatient centre. I work from home 2 days a week and I’m happy to have dogs during the day for both of our company and take them for walks when I have breaks. 95% of the time I will be at home on Fridays and then usually a Wednesday. Otherwise I am an active person who walks most days and would love a pal for my walks on any weekday morning, evening or weekend. I have a green space outside the front of my house, it is sadly not fenced but I live less than 5 minutes from Finsbury Park to walk to for some exercise. My house is 3 stories with the living area and kitchen on the bottom floor and I live with 2 friends in a dog friendly community.

After that, I will be studying, but I’ll continue to organise my schedule around the pets in my care. I’m active and enjoy long walks, trips to the park and running with energetic dogs when appropriate. I’ll always follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise and rest times, as every dog has different needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always come first. My home has plenty of space and a garden where they can play and relax. I’ll take time to understand their personality and what makes them comfortable. In an owner’s home, I’ll respect their space and ensure their pet receives plenty of attention and companionship. I’ll also send regular photos and updates for peace of mind.

“Joanna and her family were very great! Oden can be a bit shy around new dogs but he clearly enjoyed his time playing and cuddling with Rudy. He seemed a bit sad to leave! “Having an anxious rescue dog and a super energetic puppy makes leaving our pups with someone new always a challenge. But we’ve never had such a positive experience as we did with Julia! From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly prepared and welcoming, making both of our babies feel comfortable and happy right away. She even had a basket of toys ready for them, which made saying goodbye so much easier! During their stay, our youngest pup had a flare-up of a stomach condition, and Julia handled it wonderfully, giving her the medication we provided, showering her with love and cuddles, and keeping us updated every couple of hours. She also sent plenty of pictures, which truly put our minds at ease. Julia is an absolute angel! We’ll definitely trust her to care for our dogs again in the future. Super highly recommend!”
“Niki took Lucky for one day and evening. She was really quick to respond and flexible with our needs. Lucky had some settling difficulties in the first day with her dog Alfie (no fault of his!
